All the Outs in Free was part of an experiment in translating what an experience meant to me. To do this, I looked into the story of Oxenfree, the exploration of a haunted historical site that teems with the occult. This also begins my exploration into portals into other worlds, the study of nature and how things can often disrupt the intent of natural things. My favorite part about exploring Oxenfree was the concept that we can explore other places through these mysterious happenings. To be able to translate the design of Alex into my own style and to reimagine these scenes was also a joy.

All the Outs in Free is a reimagination of the important events of Oxenfree, my own interpretation of the story itself. Due to how there never really is a perfect ending to the game and it can be replayed multiple times, I took what I found most important from the game and turned it into a dedication to this beautiful game. This really brings me to the thought that, we can often never explain everything that can happen, especially those of the supernatural kind.

In the end, this is reflection of the things that I love to do most. This shows off my prowess in digital art but also shows the topics that I enjoy illustrating as well as the polish I can bring to a single piece of work. This is probably one of my favorite explorations in digital art that I have made and I have looked forward to making more artworks similar to this degree.

Materials were the Wacom Intuous Tablet as well as digital references from the Oxenfree game.
