Frank Zappa’s Panty Quilt is a strange moment in art history, to say the least. In a move befitting to only a man like Zappa, during his 1981 tour, he encouraged his female fans to throw their undergarments up on stage: Panty Rap (NSFW). Artist Emily Alana James then arranged the motley mixture of fabrics into a Queen of Spades playing card; but this Queen has a mustache and thick black hair.
