it really is bananas how different f1blr was at the time of The 2016 Brocedes Crash. everyone today is going beserk over it being 10 years and just the brocedes of it all but like as someone who was on this very site the very day It happened…f1blr was honestly like 100 people — even less were actively engaged in “fandom”. at the time i was a nico girlie so i did not follow a lot of 44’s but i remember my dash imploding in a general sense of “these dudes are so fucking stupid” bc by spain 2016 we were Tired. there was no “omg their relationship is over!!!” meltdowns bc it was already over and by god we ALL wanted it to be over. watching it all fall apart wasn’t fun or enjoyable or good tv, it was just so sad and aggravating to watch. f1blr today loves to eat up the toxicity of it all, and it was fun to eat it up back then too, but at the heart of it…2016 brocedes was heartbreaking and i shudder to imagine it happening in current f1blr atmosphere
