Bring down Nassau, maybe you bring it all down.
If [Anne] encounters a shark and doesnât have her weapons, how would you suggest she use her skills to deal with that? (x)
The most unrealistic part of Black Sails is when captain Flint is like âwhoâs Billyâ like your gay ass hasnât noticed the local ship hunk
Not to be absolutely thirsty for a sexy display of power on main but can you imagine Flint and Silver kissing in the middle of the ship in front of the crew and nobody NOBODY being able to say anything because these are two most powerful and terrifying pirates in the world
[Caption: Silver flatters Eleanor, telling her that although heâd first thought her an easy mark, after seeing how she got revenge on the Rangerâs crew (and pointing out her anger with them wasnât only about Max, but about how they strong-armed her to agree to their terms and wanting to show everyone in Nassau that they couldnât cross her like that and get away with it), heâs not certain if he should be more afraid of Flint or of her. One of Eleanorâs men comes to tell her that the deed is done, and throughout the scene, Eleanor remains silent and looks menacingly through an open window.]
yes this is my zoom background what about it
[tv show] ; BLACK SAILS - SILVERFLINT
âTheyâd grown so close, it was hard to know where one ended and the other began. I worried that the act of separating them might destroy them both.â

hereâs the thing black sails isnât without flaws but i also really do believe itâs the most expertly crafted tv show iâve ever watched
is there anything more tender and gentle and breathtaking than silver reverently whispering james for the first time?
OR CONSIDER that flintâs hands gripping the collar of his shirt are rough like sharkskin when silver covers them with his own, trying to gentle him. âwhat the fuck were you thinking,â flint mutters. his eyelids are heavy with anger and something else silver doesnât want to examine too closely.
silver runs his hands down the back of flintâs until they can encircle his wrists, tug a little so flintâs knuckles arenât so sharp against his chest. âthey were going to kill you.â
flintâs a reckless man, but silverâs never considered the possibility that the end goal of his stupid bravery might not be survival. right now, watching the way flintâs mouth tightens, something clicks into understanding.
before he can talk himself out of it, he pulls again on flintâs arms. âlet go.â and flint does, and silver brings one hand up to his mouth, presses his lips to the blue vein at the inside of flintâs wrist, where the skin is somehow still pale, and tenderly thin.
flint is close enough that the shiver this elicits runs through both of them. âjohn,â he whispers, and silver finds he canât take his eyes off of him, canât tear his mouth from his skin.
âjohn,â flint repeats, gripping silverâs collar again with his free hand. this time, itâs a gentle movement. his eyes slip shut. he lets silver touch him carefully, softly, reverently. he gives him the gift of his name in return.
CAPTAIN FRECKLES
âLet us⊠seek peace⊠near the inland murmur of streams, and the gracious waving of trees, the beauteous vesture of earth, and sublime pageantry of the skies,â - Mary Shelley, The Last Man
Odysseus on his journey home to Ithaca was visited by a ghost. The ghost tells him that once he reaches his home, once he slays all his enemies and sets his house in order he must do one last thing before he can rest. The ghost tells him to pick up an oar and walk inland and keep walking until someone mistakes that oar for a shovel. For that would be the place that no man had ever been troubled by the sea. And thatâs where heâd find peace.
In the end, thatâs all I want. To walk away from the sea and find some peace.â Black Sails 1x02Â
