Carnelian and Achroite Tourmaline (more notes about them under the cut)
So following this post up
Achro definitely has the boot still but its only about ankle-wise. I’m thinking for Carnelian she has like a knee guard type (maybe also has a guard that goes down her leg to reinforce it??) idk hmmm. Carnelian I’m also deciding whether to give her a prosthetic leg (prob under her gem) or taking away her left arm. Some limb is 98% gonna be going anyways.
Carnelian is more of a fast moving target type of fighter and shes always bouncing everywhere where Achro is more stationary n slower but has more power in her kicks. Because of their more dual natures the two of them pair out really nicely together. They arent actualyl that powerful alone which is the reason that they fused in the first place.
Anyways, onto their fusion into Rube. As QPs the two already have a strong bond and their flighty/grounded dual becomes a healthy balance of power and speed in her. Their fusion as Rube is built alot on both of their devotion to one another and Carnelians need to protect Achro and Achro’s respect to Carnelian. Through their mutual feelings in general this makes them a ver stable fusion. I believe while they at fist fused for power they would come to enjoy that balance and harmony Rube wiuld give them and so they start staying fused. Eventually they lose themselves in her and Rube does become her own individual. I imagine so long as her gems are kept together if she “dies” she just automatically fuses into Rube but if they are too far apart and they revive away from one another they wouldnt really wake up as themselves? hmm im not sure how that would work but anyways things to think of when i’m not supposed to be asleep.
