Itâs so powerful. 7H leo sun conj. mercury in magha nakshatra, shatabhisha asc, pbp moon, 5H ruler in magha nakshatra, jyeshta saturn in 10H which is his amk (career path signifier) and is ruled by his ak (mars in krittika = related to precision). Yeah ainât no way he wasnât gonna be famous and a legend. This is one of the charts Iâve seen that makes me think he was cooked up by the universe for peak human artistry and greatness.

In the D60 chart of Cicely Tyson, the true Ketu is in Uttara Phalguni. Her beauty is reminiscent of the Foxy pretty, that Uttara Phalgunis have. The three Mars nakshatras of Mrigashira, Chitra, and Dhanishta tend to lose their virginities later in life than most people would expect. I have heard a lot of Martians saying they never had any sexual interactions until their mid or even late 20s and just spent their teens being uncontrollably horny and struggling with basic touch and affection because they usually experienced traumatic situations in youth (like catcalling, molestation, assault, bullying for having more developed figures at young ages, etc) that made them uncomfortable in their own bodies. The three Mars nakshatras can thus be âUgly Ducklingâ nakshatras in the sense that they have always been pure and self-contained from youth but tend to view themselves negatively throughout their formative years and probably donât take care of themselves as a result. However, they usually have drastic âglow upsâ in their late 20s and early 30s as they become more loving of their bodies and begin to take better care of themselves as they heal from all the traumatic experiences that others put them through.
On the note of Dhanishta though, they tend to suffer from traumatic sexual experiences in youth more than the other two Mars nakshatras. Because of this, they can paradoxically develop hypersexuality/promiscuous tendencies while simultaneously having quite celibate and chaste thoughts that they are naturally inclined towards. There have been studies showing that hypersexuality and promiscuity is almost always a trauma response from experiencing a lot of sexual assault (and the unresolved trauma that comes from it) at young ages.
Contrary to popular belief in Western astrology, Mars is actually the planet of celibacy in vedic astrology. It is Venus that is the planet of sex and sexuality in jyotish. What people dont understand is that Mars is very inwardly naive and non-corrosive and so it unfortunately receives a lot of sexual projections onto it from others even though inwardly it is very aversive and wary of sexual behaviors. Venus is inwardly corrosive and protective of itself but outwardly displays a very naive and open image; because of this Venus do not allow people to project onto them or into them, sexually or platonically.
And it makes perfect sense when you consider that Mars represents farmers and knights during war time. They are busy working and protecting the more privileged members of society (Sun, Jupiter, Venus) from turmoil; how can they have time to have sex? A knight is in battle fighting or training for battle 24/7, how can he be sexual? By nature, this planet is of course geared to celibacy as it has no choice but to churn and take all of its sexual energy and pour it into physical labor rather than sex itself. Mars is the working class and thus cant afford to indulge the way that Venus can.
And though sex is natural and normal, it is in fact quite indulgent and leisurely activity wise. Which is why it is more a theme of the very pleasure-seeking and indulgent Venus (and even Rahu and Saturn at times due to their shared desire to accumulate enough success and prosperity in life to be able to have the indulgent lifestyles of Venus, as they often grow up in poverty).
When Mars nakshatras develop promiscuity in life, it is usually due to unresolved trauma and mental health taking a toll on their, their self-esteems dwindling with age. They usually do not gain any real pleasure from endlessly giving themselves away to so many people because they know from personal experience just how tiring and miserable it is (as Mars by nature is meant to give itsâ life force away to protect the more âroyalâ planets in charge). The partial influence of Venus in Mrgashira (having a Taurus portion) and Chitra (having a Libra portion) makes them more wary of being taken advantage of and falling into hyper-sexual lifestyles. But Dhanishta is often unable to accumulate that self-protective layer internally due to this nakshatra not only being ruled by Mars but being the exact exaltation point of Mars as a planet. It is also in both of the Saturn ruled rashis of Capricorn and Aquarius. Saturn, as I explained briefly above, can often be prone towards promiscuity and even sex work as they desire to accumulate the leisure and indulgence that Venusians can afford to have, as Saturn is often born into immense poverty and struggle. I have previously noted how Saturn energy is also related to sex work, sex trafficking, and sex crimes in a previous post. There is a saying that âprostitution is the oldest profession in the world, time can never get rid of itâ and that saying interestingly is very Saturnian at its core as Saturn deals with not only the concept of time (Rahu being space) but also oneâs profession and socioeconomic stability.

Moon in 8th â> Emotional eating, binge drinking or eating junk food, or smoking at night when stressed. Obsesses over exes, crushes or never happened scenarios compulsively. Extreme cases can trigger bipolar tendencies. Eating disorders.
Mercury with Rahu â> Addicted to scrolling social media, online games, or caffeine. Thoughts race constantly and you canât switch off. Insomnia and ADHD-like symptoms or anxiety disorders. Substance abuse.
Venus in Pisces â> Falls into sugar, wine, or even romantic obsession to escape loneliness. Might indulge in escapist pleasures compulsively. Sometimes to the point of not showering or lacking basic hygiene when depressed or sad.
Mars in 12th â> Secret aggressive habits like binge gaming, thrill-seeking, or unsafe hookups. Can get addicted to adrenaline or risky behavior.
Jupiter debilitated â> Gambling, overspending online, overeating, or substance abuse, giving credentials for quick gains enough to get scammed.

So today we are going to study hora charts. Hora chart is the D-2 chart in Vedic astrology. Hora charts are usually studied to predict the wealth and financial condition of a person.
Before starting I just wanna say that I am not a professional astrologer. But I have been studying hora charts for a while, so this post is completely based on my research. And I want everyone to read this post very carefully, don't rush, keep a notebook and your chart in front of you as you read this.
So let's begin, shall we?
Let's start by learning, what are hora charts?
Hora stands for 'Hour', it is quite an important part of Vedic astrology. It determines which area of your life needs work and effort and which areas of your life can give you good results without much effort.
Everyone is either born in the hora [ hour ] of the sun or the hora [ hour ] of the moon. First, you all need to learn about which hora were you born into. So let's start with the basics first!
The Hora of the sun is about daytime and the hora of the moon is about the nighttime.
Sun, Venus, and Jupiter are the planets that are strong in the Hora of the sun, while the moon, Mars, and Saturn are the planets that are strong in the hora of the moon. While Mercury is strong depending upon the time you were born. If the birth took place during sunrise or sunset, then Mercury will be strong for both horas, otherwise it's ususally neutral.
How do I find which hora I was born into?
First I need you all to go to the site farfaraway. Fill in your birth details and then keep your Lagna/birth chart in front of you. Now, I want you all to check the degree of your ascendant. Either you can click on the right-hand side arrow to see the degrees of all your planets or you can just look at your chart for it. Now, note down or keep in mind your ascendant and its degree. Now we will start!
Keep in mind that there are only two horas, sun, and moon. And Now, the hora is divided into 2 parts as in the first 15 degrees and the second 15 degrees. People born in the first 15 degrees of the rising sign will be part of 1 hora while people born in the second half of the degree from 16-30 will be in the other hora.
So all the signs of the zodiac s are divided into two, even signs and odd signs. So, Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn, and Pisces come under even signs. Aries, Gemini, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius, Aquarius, come under odd signs. This is the basic deal.
So, now if you are born under the ascendant sign Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn, and Pisces, then your first 15 degrees will be ruled by the moon and the last 15 degrees will be ruled by the sun. Now here, look at the degree of your ascendant, if you were born between 1-15 degrees then you were born into the hora of the moon and if you were born between 16-30 degrees then you were born into the hora of the sun.
And now, if you were born under the ascendant sign Aries, Gemini, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius, Aquarius then your first 15 degrees will be ruled by the sun and the last 15 degrees are ruled by the moon. So check the degree of your ascendant. If you were born between 1-15 degrees then you were born into the hora of the sun, and if you were born between 16-30 degrees then you were born into the hora of the moon.
If you are born into the hora of the sun then planets such as Sun, Venus, Jupiter, and houses such as 2nd, 5th, 7th, 9th, and 12th will be strong in your chart. And houses such as 1st, 4th, 8th, 10th, and 11th are the areas of their life where they will have to put in hard work.
Similarly, if you are born into the hora of the moon then planets such as Moon, Mars, Saturn, and houses such as 1st, 4th, 8th, and 10th will be strong in your chart. And houses such as 2nd, 5th, 7th, 9th, and 12th are the areas of your life where you will have to put in hard work.
Calm down, if you didn't understand, read it again, don't scroll. The upcoming information will be confusing if you all don't get this.
{â§} â Now, additional notes for this;
If you are born at night while in the hora of the Moon, then this is like the cherry on the cake, as all throughout your life you'll have the support of your mother, inlaws, bosses, and network. Sames goes for being born in the daytime while in the hora of the sun, you'll get support from family, ability to save money, children, help from spouse, father and teachers.
Also, Rahu and Ketu give results according to the same concept, for moon hora house 1, 4, 7, 8, 10, and 11 are good, 3 and 6 depend upon Mercury. The same goes for Sun hora, this is why half the population will get good results of Rahu in the 5th house while another half will get bad results.
So now, How to read your hora chart?
Now, I want you all to go to farfaraway, fill in your birth details as per usual. Then I want you all to click on the right-hand side arrow 7 times. You will see something as a D-2 chart, just below that, there's a button that says 'generate chart', click on that and you will see your hora chart in front of you.
Now, the first strange thing that you will see in your chart is that all of the planets in your hora chart are only under signs of Leo and cancer. As per the definition of hora and the signs allowed therein, we can have only the Cancer and Leo signs. So, a planet and ascendant degree can go to either Leo or Cancer sign. We cannot have planets placed in any sign other than these two.
Now, here you will see that if you were born into the hora of the moon then you have cancer as your ascendant in your hora chart and if you were born into the hora of the sun then you have Leo as your ascendant in your hora chart.
Before we start learning how to actually read this chart, I want you all to keep your Lagna chart beside you too. A small piece of advice would be that use your laptop for this.
Now, here when you have cancer as your ascendant in your hora chart then it is considered more auspicious or fortunate than having Leo as your ascendant.
Now, see where the majority of the planets are placed.
If the majority of the planets in your hora chart are placed in the sign of cancer then it indicates that you will acquire wealth easily. It is also seen that if you have the majority of the planets in the sign of cancer then you will believe in smart work.
And if the majority of the planets in your hora chart are placed in the sign of Leo then you might have to put in a little more effort to acquire wealth.
Now, I want you all to have a look at the 2nd house of your Lagna/ birth chart. You all have to check the lord of the 2nd house there. Check the sign placed in the second house of your birth chart, the ruler of that sign is the lord of your 2nd house.
Now, if the lord of the second house of your birth chart is placed in the first house of your hora chart then it indicates that you will earn wealth through your own efforts and hard work. You all understand what that means right? It means that you will only acquire wealth when you put in hard work and effort, yourself.
And if the lord of the 2nd house of your birth chart is placed in the second house of your hora chart. Then it indicates that you will acquire most of your wealth from your family. Like ancestral property and stuff like that. This one is for the ones who have cancer ascendant in their hora chart.
Coming on to the ones who have Leo ascendant. If you have the lord of the second house of your birth chart placed in the twelfth house of your hora chart, then at one point in your life, you will lose a lot of your wealth. You will earn a wealth of course, but from time to time you will also lose a lot of your money. You all should be very careful while making financial decisions. Check your dashas for this, if you wanna know when.
Now, remember that Jupiter is the Karak of the 2nd house [let's not get into this one]. So, now go back to your hora chart. And see if you have Jupiter placed in the same house with the lord of your 2nd house.
I repeat you all have to see if Jupiter is placed in the same house as the lord of the 2nd house of your Lagna chart.
For ex, let's say you have aries occupying the second house of your birth chart. Then automatically you have mars as the lord of your second house. Now you just have to see if mars and Jupiter are placed in the same house in your hora chart. okay?
Didn't understand? read it again.
Now, if you all have Jupiter in conjunction with the lord of the second house of your birth chart then you all will be able to gain a lot of money.
Now, if thereâs no conjunction between Jupiter and the lord of the second house of your birth chart then all your life will be spent by either chasing money or losing it.
If Jupiter is in the second house of your hora chart then, your life will be spent chasing wealth and money.
And if Jupiter is placed in the twelfth house of your hora chart then, your life will be spent losing your money.
Now, if you have cancer as your ascendant in your hora chart then you will have to check the dignity of the sun in your birth chart. Read it again.
If the sun, in your birth chart is placed in the houses, 3rd, 11th, 6th, 8th, 12th, or placed in libra sign then you won't be able to enjoy your wealth or just the money you earn. You might earn a lot but you are not able to gain satisfaction or pleasure from it. Because the sun is placed negatively in your birth chart.
And if the sun is placed in the trikon or Kendra houses, that is 1st, 4th, 7th, 10th, 9th, or 5th house in your birth chart then you will be able to enjoy your wealth. You will be able to gain satisfaction and pleasure from your wealth because the sun is in good condition in your birth chart.
Now, if you have your ascendant as Leo in your hora chart then you have to check the dignity of the moon in your birth chart. Read it again.
If the moon, in your birth chart is placed positively as in placed in trikon or Kendra house that is 1st, 4th, 7th, 10th, 9th, or 5th house in your birth chart then, most probably you will spurge a lot of your wealth due to your emotions. Do you understand? You will splurge a lot of money due to your emotional needs. This gives negative results such as loans, etc.
And if the moon, in your birth chart is placed negatively, that is if it's placed in houses such as 3rd, 11th, 6th, 8th, 12th, then this gives positive results. You all are practical with your money.

Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra has given a very important clue here to determine the Loka or the world from which a soul has come to this world. Since Hindus have strong faith in reincarnation (which now has been sanctioned by serious research scientists, the world over), they have a strong desire to know that to which world they belong. Similarly, the native-born in Sunâs hora is assumed to be from the Deva Loka or the world of the gods. Now as we know that most of the Hindu gods are difficult to be pleased with and easy to be annoyed. Deva or the Devata also signifies divinity, spirituality, enlightenment, glory, ego, ambitions, and power. Hindus believe that someone who has broken the conduct code of Deva Loka (Yoga-bhrishta), has to again come to this mortal world as a part of the punishment. Since Sun is a natural malefic also, the birth in Sunâs hora justifies Maharshi Parasharaâs viewpoint.

When moon is transitioning 6th, 8th and 12th house from lagna/ascendant and especially if these houses are empty in the chart, itâs best to be careful when going outside.
There are possibilities of accidents and other weird stuff happening to oneâs body. Cause these houses are the houses of health, sickness, accidents and hospitals.
