the other's words hung in the air, simple and familiar. a warning? a plea? no, a challenge. he didn't need to look at mobius to know the expression that he'd find on the man's face, that mixture of exhaspiration and concern, the kind that made loki feel seen in a way that he didn't entirely dislike...

as mobius gently ran his fingers through loki’s raven black hair he smiled softly at the sleeping god. seemed like he needed the rest. so when loki sleepily looked up awaken from his nap, mobius pulled his hand back and sat down a cup of fresh coffee in front of him.

“seems like you needed the rest. sorry to wake you up.” he smiled and sat down opposite of loki. “i brought you coffee.” he gestured to the cup.

blinking wearily, the god's lips twisted into a sleepy smile as he glanced up at the other. slowly, he sat up and stretched until his shoulders gave a satisfying 'pop', yawning slightly.

"thank you..." loki murmured, wiping the sleep from his eyes before reaching to take a sip of the coffee. he glances down at some of the, now crumpled, TVA files that had been his make-shift pillow.
