I choose life.
too little, I lack energy; too much, I am paralysed
And every day, the world will drag you by the hand, yelling, “This is important! And this is important! And this is important! You need to worry about this! And this! And this!” And each day, it’s up to you to yank your hand back, put it on your heart and say, “No. This is what’s important.

Can I change who i am? If so, how? Do i just analyze who i am and be honest with myself and everything good and bad that defines me and actively try to change it? Or do I wake up one morning and be someone else and live that life? I feel like a young tree that has started to grow very crooked, but i want to grow straight, sturdy and strong, from now on.
In my experience it happens like this. Change comes to you, arriving one grain at a time. You watch it carefully in the beginning, you swear you can recognise every individual grain. Nothing is happening so you forget about it for a few months. When you finally come across it again all you can see is a pile. In my experience, once you make the call for change, it will come to you in its own time. And if you don’t, it will come to you in its own time. But what you want is some affirmation, so you carefully watch and wait for the day that you can call it a pile. In my experience, as long as you are looking it will never happen.

Scattered through the ordinary world there are books and artifacts and perhaps people who are like doorways into impossible realms, of impossible and contradictory truth.
