 LONDON FASHION WEEK ... YASMIN SEWELL

Fashion consultant Yasmin Sewell is an expert at mannish elegance. Here she has teamed her printed MiuMiu blouse with a mustard coat, loose jeans by 'Made in Heaven' and Rupert Sanderson graphic Heels. Whilst the top part is a nod to the 70's and the silhouette is slightly boyish, the heels, haircut and red lips make the look feminine and modern.

I have been wanting to feature the Tartan trend for a while as it is such a great way to mix traditional and high fashion. I love how these ladies each have embraced the trend with preferred lengths and made it look their own with accessories and layering.

Model of the Year ... Cara Delevigne

In the spirit of last nights British Fashion Awards I wanted to post a shot of one the winners, Cara Delevigne. The London beauty was awarded 'Model of the Year'. Well deserved after walking in an impressive 31 shows this September and being the face of both Chanel and Burberry as well as maintaining a unique sense of style and a personality to match.

Set to be a big trend this winter is metallics. Fashion writer and blogger of "The Style Bubble", Susie Lau, added Girlieness to this Tough trend. By mixing her pink metallic skirt and jacket with a soft pink MiuMiu cashmere top, a touch of blue and texture from her hat and cardigan, and finished it off with these pretty purple Salvatore Ferragamo bow pumps.

I love how stylist Giovanna Battaglia has added a punch of colour to her grey Celine dress with this Hermes scarf. The white triangle heels and the mini Hermes bag adds a touch of monochrome, and the mirror glasses gives the whole look an edge and personality.

Trend ... Cartoon Clutches

A Micro Trend well worth mentioning is the fashion worlds nod to Pop art this season. I spotted cartoon prints on jumpers, dresses and bags and found the pop-clutch a great way to spice up and add colour to an outfit.
