atoll: if your muse could go anywhere, without any restrictions whatsoever, where would they go? why would they go there? 

Knowing Missy, she would love to explore the deepest crevasse of the oceans, aka the challenger deep part of it in person. She’s aware that thanks to technology, she could explore it without the potential of losing oxygen or encountering any ocean life that she could accidentally hurt. But being a lover of the sea and a oceanography major at that, it has always been a dream of her’s to explore that part of the ocean with her very own eyes one day. To see what else truly lives there.

crimson: how passionate is your muse about the things they love most? 

Very passionate! Missy is one of the, if not is, the most loving person you will ever meet! So much so, that she doesn’t even need to know who you are for her to already decide that she loves you because she is that warm and caring towards others. If you want to receive a hug from someone? Missy is your girl to go to for that? Feel like holding hands yet don’t have anyone to do so? Missy would happily hold hands with you! Want a kiss on the cheek? Missy will do that too! And of course, it isn’t even just with people too, as being the emotionally giving person that she is, Missy would emit as much of her love as she can to any person, any animal, any living organism or any thing! I mean, this is the girl who has a literal rock collection! And she definitely loves her collection, regardless of whether people found it odd that someone like her enjoys collecting rocks for fun. It’s just who she is, and the person that she is is one who often gives it her all when it comes to expressing her love.

olive: is your muse prone to feeling envious of others? if yes, what is it that they typically feel envious over? 

As giving as she is when it comes to expressing her love, I will admit that Missy is not immune to feeling envy. Granted, most of the time she does isn’t even due to her feeling it on her own, as she does have the ability to feel the emotions of others around her and so if someone is strongly feeling envious, than she will feel the same as well. But she does at times feel the green monster that is envy every through her own accords every once in a while. Mainly from some of the gossip that she enjoys listening to that is too compelling for her to ignore, or even something one of her closes friends does that is too impressive for her not to feel just the slight bit jealous over. But even then, her envious feelings are more fleeting than usual because Missy severely dislikes feeling that way and believes that feeling envious of others is never the best way to go about things.

The first time Missy saw Dipper, it was at the courtyard of their high school during a Tuesday morning with some time to spare before first period began. She had been in the middle of a conversation with Rosetta, talking about some new bath bomb, when Dipper had walked passed them to enter the building. That was when Missy ended up cutting herself off mid-sentence to proclaim how he was “one of the cutest guys I’ve ever seen!” to Ro. And to be honest, she still thinks he is one of the cutest guys she knows even to this day.

Eventually after actually getting to know him, one of the first things Missy learned that she really liked about Dipper was seeing him smile. Like the kind of smile one makes when they're talking about something they’re really passionate about and not even realize how into to they are being because they're just that passionate. That kind of smile, and Missy always liked seeing it on his face. She especially liked seeing it because those were the moments she knew that Dipper was finally letting himself relax and not feel all awkward or insecure about himself, which was something that always bothered Missy because she has always been a firm believer that people should be proud and comfortable with themselves and their interests. Like Dipper’s on the paranormal and conspiracies. Sure, half the time Missy hardly was able to keep up whenever he mentioned any of it to her, but it also didn’t matter to her if she couldn’t because those were the moments when Dipper was being himself to her and she found herself liking it. Like a lot.

Not going to lie, was a little painful and saddening to Missy back when Dipper began college yet she was still in her final year of high school and they started to spend less time together. And it wasn’t like they didn’t try because they did, but some of their dates started to get pushed back or being dropped completely, and then on the time they did have time for the other, it would be spent in group outings or not even with the other at all. And well, being an empath, Missy was able to tell when things were starting to change for them, and when his feelings for her started to not be as strong as they were before. Granted, she knew that despite how things were turning out that Dipper still really cared for her, and more than once, she felt the conflicting feelings he was having over what to do about their relationship, but eventually Missy had to face the facts that they were going to break up soon and it was a bit of a painful realization for her. Missy loves a lot— with her whole heart, and she found herself loving Dipper a lot but even she had to realize that their relationship wasn’t working anymore and that she couldn’t hold him back if they were already drifting apart. So when their break up had came, yeah Missy was upset and a little emotional about it, it was done mutually and with no hard feelings. She still ended up telling him how much she loves him and that even if they won’t be together anymore, she would still be there for him regardless of the reason, and it warmed her heart when he returned the same settlements. 

It wasn’t long after their break up where their friendship was picked back up again. Dipper was a little awkward about it but Missy didn’t let him, her going as far as to throwing her arms around him for a tight hug before playfully pinching his cheeks and telling him to stop it. She even went as far as to ‘threaten’ to keep pinching him for the next hour if he continues, as if they both didn’t already know that she had the ability to make Dipper stop feeling that way if Missy really wanted to. But she didn’t use her powers to do so because she wanted their friendship to come naturally as it did before, and when she presented Dipper one of the bracelets she likes to make for her friends as a sure sign that yes, they really are still friends, and she saw that smile she really liked seeing on his face, that was when Missy knew that things really would be okay between them.

( eric ) :

eric looks up at missy, small smile on his face even as he’s a little caught off guard by her request. they’d fallen into a comfortable silence the past few minutes, so he hadn’t been expecting it when she spoke up. “yeah?” he asks, looking out at the water as if he’s weighing the decision. though, they both know he wouldn’t say no by any means. was it a little careless to swim this late? probably. but it wouldn’t stop eric. he’s done far more reckless things. “what if i throw you in first?” he jokes, making quick and easy work of lifting her up into his arms. he won’t throw her in if she protests he’s not the kind of person that ignores someone else’s request just because he thinks it’d be fun, but still he makes a swinging motion with her body in his arms like he’s about to just haul her into the water. “just dive and swim?” he smiles, looking down at her. “i say, let’s do it.” what he wants to say is he’d do anything she wants to, all she has to do is ask. but he tries to suppress the adoration that sweeps over him. he sets her back down on her feet, but takes her hand in his to keep the contact. “together, so neither one of us can back out and leave the other looking stupid.” he teases, though he doubts missy would do that to him. “or if some weird sea monster tries to eat one of us we’ll go out together.”

“Yeah.” She responded with an enthusiastic nod. The idea was sudden, and they could easily wait until it was morning again to go for an actual swim, but where would the fun be if they did that? A surprised squeal then ended up escaping her lips when he suddenly swept her into his arms, Missy not expecting for Eric to do that as her hands found their way to grasp into his shoulders as if to sturdy herself. “I’ll just hold onto you tightly until you’re dragged down with me, of course.” She answered with a mock glare after getting over her initial surprise. She knew he wouldn’t actually throw her like that if she told him not to, even as he started to swing her back and forth, causing Missy to move her hands until she had her arms wrapped over his neck, she just squealed again as a response. “I will seriously pull you with me, don’t think I won’t!” She pretended to threaten with a giggle. Missy found herself nodding once more once he stopped, only for her to let out a small cheer when he agreed. “Good, I didn’t want to go swimming without you.” She honestly said, as a light pink tint rested against her cheeks. Swimming at night wouldn’t nearly be as fun if he didn’t want to do so with her, and she loved to swim in general. But she wanted to share doing so with him. Ignoring the small bit of disappointment in not being in his arms anymore, her smile only widen when Eric's hand slipped into her’s. “Together. And I’ll make sure to protect you if some weird sea monster does tries to use one of us. Just stay behind me and I’ll take care of it.” She teased right back, while gently squeezing his hand. Together.

“We should go for a swim!” Missy pipped up, as she shifted her gaze back towards Eric with a bright yet warm smile on her face. They were currently at the dock of Eric’s boat, and for once the appearance of his two best friends was not around, nor was any of her’s for that matter. It was just the two of them, and while she had been enjoying herself already, going for a swim sounded very enticing to her. Never mind how it was late in the day, the sun having gone down around an hour to an hour and a half hour ago, meaning it should already be considered late enough for an activity such as swimming. Yet, Missy persist. “Let’s just dive from here. No thinking, no stripping down or slipping on any bathing suits, we should just dive and swim.” She added, breaking her stare to turn it back towards the water. “What do you say?” @ohcapitans​

Vidia wasn’t the one to show how she truly felt about anything, but that hardly mattered around Missy. She was the one who went with girl because she knew that she would be able to stabilize her mood better than the rest. At least she thought that was the case. Vidia was still processing everything. She was as close to the Lost Boys as most of her friends were….and the fact that it was Nibs had her speechless. But she had to try harder to be there for Missy. Missy was probably about to burst and Vidia didn’t want to see her do that. She wanted to have answers for her friend and she had none. “I…..I don’t know……” she said, her hands balled into fists. “But we have to…..calm…..if we react so hard we’re going to struggle to get anything done.” 

Missy tries not to become so emotional, completely aware that whenever she is, she could heavily influence everyone else around her without meaning to, and in this situation, it wouldn’t be a good thing. It was enough alone that Vidia was here and had to deal with her emotionally distressed self, it would become twice as difficult if Missy accidentally made Vidia feel the exact same as she she was feeling. But, it was hard. Not when she was also confused as to why it happened to Nibs. Not that she wanted any of her friends to get stabbed or hurt, but Nibs was so innocent, and so kind, someone keeps to himself when compared to the rest of The Lost Boys. “Calming now, that’s exactly what I need to do.” The empath nodded, completely agreeing with Vidia there. Yet she couldn’t as she almost heaved, the worry following through her entire being as to whether Nibs was okay or not. “We should go and check on him, right? That….That sounds like a logical thing to do, right? Or would it be too overwhelming for him if more of us go and see him? Or maybe we should do what Tink and Tootles are doing and try searching for who done it….?”

( eric ) :

when missy looks up at him, batting her eyes and pouting eric knows he’s done for. he’d never been able to resist puppy dog eyes, and he knows with the way his heart backflips whenever she’s near there’s no way he can resist missy in this moment. “your words and your body language are giving two very different narratives here,” he points out the way she can’t keep the smile off her face, but with a laugh he gives in anyways. “alright, me and you on the stage, sole spotlight. the swell of romantic music, all eyes on us.” he explains dramatically, then because he doesn’t take much seriously. “it’d be super cute like that one show where the football players and the nerds sing with their creepy teacher.” eric smiles as she elaborates on the danger of them remaking rewrite the stars. “i mean, there’s a YouTube tutorial for literally everything. we would have figured it out. plus, i wouldn’t let anything happen to you.” thats more fact than joke, but he doesn’t say it as sincerely as he probably should have because this entire conversation isn’t necessarily meant to be sincere. “trying to figure out what’s more awkward, flynn and naveen booing us as we sing love songs or us just singing them to each other.” he only mentions his friends because of what he knows from missy’s gang of friends they’d support it just because. though, he knows for a fact flynn and naveen would probably want to do a duet too if they did end up doing this.

There was a flash of curiosity in her expression after batting her eyes at him, sensing for a split moment a familiar reaction from him that she hadn’t felt in a while. But as quick as that curiosity came it was gone as she broke her facade with a laugh. “You don’t believe that I’m being sincere?” She asks, now tilting her head instead of responding to his statement. Missy giggled once again, the Glee reference is what does it for her especially, even while she tries to go in defense for that teacher. “Their teacher wasn’t creepy! He was just very into performing with his students, like when he decided to join in on their Toxic number in front of the entire student body, or when he taught them how to twerk, or whenever he allowed them to come over to his apartment even if it wasn’t anything glee club related…..” Trailing off, the realization that the teacher was indeed creepy, Missy made a face and shook her head. “Never mind, he was creepy. But the pool proposal was endearing!” The smile on her face soften some at his reassurance. “I would’ve haunted you for the rest of your life if you allowed me to fall. Like a sucker grip from an octopus, you wouldn’t be able to get rid of me.” Missy teased, as if she truly believed that they were planning on reenacting that performance for real. There was so much ridiculousness within it for her to take it seriously. “Well, if they boo us, just say ‘Redneck Woman,’ with no explanation whatsoever and then the ‘zip it’ motion like this” She said, even going as far as to demonstrating it. “They have to quite down since they made you deal with their performance, so it’s the least they could do. And if you don’t want to deal with them booing us, then…” Shifting her gaze down as she considered for a moment, ·the empath eventually shrugged as she glanced back at him. “It could just be the two of us. I mean, at least we have some kind of foundation when singing them.”·

( camden ) :

There were so many things that Camden (admittedly) didn’t understand, and one was how anyone could come to Corona and never leave. Of course, it was a beautiful place, and self-sufficient enough to become anyone’s home, but what about it drew people in so easily? Even he, after living his entire life here, wondered why people seemed to come but never leave. But, maybe that was because he was always so interested in seeing the world, and the universe, and knowing how it all tied together. He was pulled from his thoughts by Missy’s excitement at the false new housing prospect, and her agreement brought a wide grin to his own face. “Perfect!” He instantly agreed before listening with wide eyes at her explanation of Fawn. He’d never met the other girl, but had heard pleasant things about her from the brunette. Besides, if she was living with Missy, she had to be pretty okay. “No problem! I mean, a mansion’s on the high end of the budget for two people, but three? Four, if we invite the boyfriend to join us? We can, like, commission and design a whole new beachside mansion for ourselves. Twenty bedrooms, twenty-one baths, and a second floor fancy patio facing the water.” He decided out loud, as if it was even remotely possible. Missing the girl’s internal qualms about the boyfriend situation, he shrugged a little at the prospect of tanning helping his cause. If it wasn’t going to happen naturally, a spray tan was probably off the table. Her giggle brought a wide, and slightly fond, grin to Cam’s lips, and he side hugged her back before stepping into the gift shop. “Should I have clarified before the deal was made that we should not go for the hot pink shirts?”·

It has yet to hit her that there might be a reason for why so many comes to Corona but never leave. That is, outside of the usual reasons such as the anomalies and paranormal related stuff that Dipper’s into, and the hint of magic that has to be part of the island for so many people to find themselves with powers. Even she couldn’t fully explain how she received her powers of empathy, as Missy had always had them for as long as she could remember, but she couldn’t say if that was all due to her living on this island. In fact, if she were to leave Corona, would her powers disappear too? A new thing to consider. The idea of her, Camden and Fawn (plus Fawn’s boyfriend), all moving together into a beachside mansion had Missy’s eyes sparkling. It was all for pretend, as there was no way even with the four of them combined could they renovate a mansion for themselves, but that didn’t deter the empath from imagining it all with a wide smile on her face. “With that many bedrooms and bathrooms, we could invite every single one of our friends to come live with us!” She commented, more excited than ever now at the prospect of sharing a roof with all her loved ones. Sure, Missy lived in the same apartment complex as her main group of friends, but not under the exact same roof! “It could almost be like we’re having a house party every single day and no one has to feel like their alone because they wouldn’t be!” She ended up squealing the last part, a bit too into this fictional thought. The gift shop wasn’t far from the creepy teddy bear store they were perviously in, a the pair was already starting to get closer to it as they continued to make their way, until they were finally there. “Sooo, go for the hot pink?.” Missy giggled with a teasing smile to indicate that she’s joking·as she took a step inside. “How about an aqua blue! Or a teal? Oh, or maybe a cyan or would that be a little too bright?” ·

( tink ) :

“Nope. And I never want to be,” she answers with a shrug before batting at Missy’s hand when she comes in to tickle her one last time. Another laugh bubbles out of Tink before she settles in and starts to rub at her sides. “I’m gonna just assume that’s like a really small fish, right?” She doesn’t comment on the flying away part, a little annoyed at herself for not having thought of that herself. That’s twice in one day now that Missy’s outsmarted her - a rarity, but not one that actually had Tink getting too upset.·

“It’s an experience.” Missy provided with another laugh while simultaneously thinking to herself on how Tink was making the right choice on that. Carrots turns into an outer-wordly being when it’s feeding time. “Extremely tiny.” She said, nodding her head. “They’re like, this big kind of tiny.” Shifting a little, she demonstrated the size of the extremely tiny fish with her index fingers overing but a few centimeters apart from one another. “This is my level of strength to yours.” ·

( dipper ) :

At the question of whether his sister would be down for wearing matching jackets, Dipper’s head falls back as he lets out a loud laugh. “Mabel would love that. She’d probably even make sweaters for you guys too,” he answers. As embarrassing as it was to think of his ex and his sister potentially actually wearing these jackets or sweaters, he knew it was something the two would genuinely be into and enjoy making together, so he can’t find it in himself to shut the idea down. “She’d probably love that saying - I wouldn’t be surprised if she started using it as a catchphrase of her own.”·

Though she had been completely serious with her suggestion about wearing matching bedazzled jackets with Mabel, a smile once again appeared on her face as he laughed. “The jackets could represent us being part of your defense squad, while the sweaters will be our way of showing our support to you.” She cheerfully giggled at the thought. Not only would Missy whole heartedly and proudly swear the matching jackets and sweaters, but in the process of making them would make for a fun arts and craft project to do with Mabel. “It would make for a fun chant too. Mess with the Dip, get a hit.” She repeated, this time chanting it as if it was a small tune. “We can even make you one as well!”

“Hypothetically speaking, if he still has feelings for me and is still interested in giving us the actual try we didn’t get the chance to have before. Then yes, I most absolutely would get back together with Eric if he asks.” @ohcapitans

How did the day turn out like this? This was supposed to be a fun event! One filled with singing, dancing, and laughter while she and her friends proudly support The Lost Boys while they come out and perform. There was nothing between it all that states someone had to get stabbed today and not just anyone, but one of the boys got stabbed! Nibs! And Missy was still reeling with horror and dismay at since hearing the news. “Nibs was stabbed!” She repeated, her gaze shifting towards Vidia who she currently was with. Both Tink and Tyler had gone off on a rampage over the news, and she could only assume that Ro, Cubby and Slightly were both with Nibs, tending to his newfound injury. Something in which she and Vidia should probably be doing, if Missy wasn’t also feeling a bit overly stimulated by the waves of emotions that she not only was feeling, but of those around her. “…I…I can’t believe that someone would do that! Why would anyone do that? Who would do that?!” @fastestfknfairy​

( eric ) :

“well i’m not gonna share it if you’re just gonna laugh the whole time.” he pouts, pretending to be offended by her laughter. though the truth of the matter is, eric could never be upset with missy about anything, and especially not this. “exactly!” eric nods along as she lists other songs. “i would have absolutely put in the work to make that happen. don’t know how safe it would have been for either of us, but we could’ve done our best.” he hasn’t seen the movie in a while but he knows full and well they wouldn’t have been able to do the exact sequence, but something close enough would have sufficed he’s sure. “soooo, what you’re saying is we’re gonna get all our friends together and make them watch us do a bunch of duets? cause…I’ll do it.” eric absolutely would force his friends to watch him and missy perform, and they wouldn’t be able to put up a single fight about it given how much dumb shit they force him through.

“Nooo!” As if pretending to beg, Missy leaned in close and grasp Eric by the arm before battling her ashes at him with puppy dog eyes. “I won’t laugh anymore, I promise. For real.” The smile on her face said otherwise, but she didn’t need to sense the nonexistent offense from him to know that he wasn’t truly upset. “It definitely would’ve been dangerous for the both of us especially since neither know any rope choreography or is a trapeze artist. But that doesn’t mean it wouldn't have been fun to try.” Plus, if there was anyone she trusted enough to give that sequence a try with, it’ll be Eric. She always felt like she could have an unwavering trust when it came to him. “Exactly, we’re going to need an audience!” Missy said with an amused giggle. “Otherwise, we’ll be singing a bunch of love songs to only each other, and that would be a little awkward, don’t you think?”

( dipper ) :

A bit of a flush crept up Dipper’s neck at her calling out his guilty emotions, but it wasn’t much. As embarrassing as it was having his feelings be so known, he’d gotten a little used to it after spending so much time with Missy. And Chuckie now too. “Okay, I won’t,” he promises, though he’s not sure how true that could be. For the moment he’ll let go of the guilt, though he can’t guarantee it won’t come up again. But that’s something to deal with later because how can he be worried or stressed when Missy’s throwing herself into a hug. A laugh escapes him as he returns it, wrapping his arms around her and giving her body a little squeeze. “I know you will. Between you and Mabel I practically have my own hit squad.” It was a joke - but one he actually kind of meant. It’s strange, how once in his life he had literally no one, and now he’s surrounded by people who love him and would do anything to defend him.·

“Good, and just remember that you have nothing to feel guilty about.” She reminded him, because just as much as she would have liked Dipper to have been more open with his thoughts back then, it was also on her for not expressing that at the time as well. But it’s in the past and either way, Missy didn’t blame him for anything and by throwing her arms around him into a cheerful hug, just showed how much she really didn't. At the sound of his laugh, her smile couldn’t get any wider, yet she tried as the empath giggled herself. She was just happy that she could still make him smile and laugh. “You better believe you have one!” Missy claimed, giving Dipper a gentle squeeze in return before pulling back. She kept her hands on his shoulders as she continued to smile at him, only for her to gasp at a thought that came to mind. “Do you think Mabel would be for wearing a matching pair of jackets that states on the back, ‘Mess with the Dip and you’ll get a Hit.’” She furrows at her words. “That actually sounds horrible when I say it out loud, but I’m sure Mabel could think of something better. It’ll be bedazzled though.”·

( camden ) :

The idea hadn’t occurred to him, but it would make sense. When he met Chip, the guy said he’d just been visiting, but had no idea how long he’d be staying for. There were tons of people who had spent their entire lives on the island, but the overall population had been raising exponentially. Maybe it was true that everyone who came to Corona just ended up liking it enough to stay. “You could be right…. Probably should invest in real estate soon, then.” The words rolled easily off his tongue, pulling a small laugh from him that may have had more to do with the concept of being financially stable enough to buy a house right now. Hell, he tended to buy day old bakery goods at the shop to save a few dollars. “Wanna go in on a house? We can probably get, like, a modest mansion, I’m guessing.” Needless to say, the words weren’t serious, unless the housing market was willing to really do them a favor. Probably not, then. The hand that rested against his cheek made the skin beneath it warm, but in a much less painful way than the sun had. “I mean, at least I don’t tan, right? Much better that it just faded.” Because, if he had to walk around with stripes of browned and pale skin across his face for weeks, he might as well have put a “bully me now” sign on his back. Not that he needed one, but that was beside the point. His lips were still raised in a wide smile, however, as he shook his head. “Of course not! You’ve got my word, Silver.”

Being one of the Corona’s natives, Missy couldn’t completely speak for the people who aren’t originally from here yet had decided to move since she didn’t know how many of them had the intent to visit at first. There was also the fact that most of who she knew were also from Corona as well, though she could always try and make a few newer friends who aren’t from here so she could then ask them about it. Rather than saying something else in return, the empath giggled at his words before she shrugged her shoulders with an amused smile on her face. Missy’s expression, however, brighten once again at Camden’s following offer, completely understanding that it was nothing more than a joke, yet she grinned even so at it. “Yes!” She quickly accepted. “But we have to bring Fawn in on it as well since I share an apartment with her and there is no way I am leaving her alone even if just for a house!…Unless, she somehow decides that she is going to move in with her new boyfriend, then it’ll just be us two.” Though after what happened with Rani and her ex, Missy would still be inclined to convince Fawn to move in with them instead just in case. For protective reasons of course, not that she found anything wrong with Fawn’s current boyfriend, but still. “I guess, though it would probably have been a lot less noticeable if you did tan.” She mused, but even so she was glad that no one had hurt him over something as silly as that. At his promise, she let out one final giggle before side hugging him. “Good. I’m holding you to it, Little!”·
