                   there was    IRRITATION    in his tone.       the normal rough and brute as hands pressed to the wood of the    WAR TABLE.       in front of the Queen he seemed   calm   ,   ready for anything.        but now as he stared down at his adoptive father’s plans his worry seemed to show.      they were losing the war     because of their own people   ,   because of the veiled.       brows furrowed as his head turned to lock his gaze on her pure satin glance.       ❛     we are in the middle of a war with another war brewing in the center   ————   ❜       a sigh of annoyance   ,   agitation.       adjusting his stature to stand up straight   ,   arms folding firmly across his chest.       ❛  and now   ,    Raz is bringing in some    STRANGER   that apparently   fell from the sky    and is saying Molag Bal is trying to take over Nirn. … so    my darling   this   IS   my smile.     ❜

for  as  long  as  she  had  known  venari, remaining  calm  had  never  been  his  strong  suit  &  that  was  something  she  did  admire  in  him   ─   his  PASSION.  though  there  were moments,  such  as  this,  where  irisik  saw  him  overwhelmed.  but  who  could  blame  him?  the  pact  &  covenant  were  constantly  pushing  back  the  dominion’s  efforts   ─   their  efforts.  she  disliked  their  position  just  as  much  as  him,  but  she  knew  that  ANGER  would  not  win  them  the  war.  this  was  a  time  for  level  heads.  a  sigh  escaped  her  lips  as  she  inched  closer  to  him.   ❛   so  quick  to  jump  to  anger  &  thoughts  of  the  world  falling  to  pieces.   ❜   a  light  laugh,  giving  way  to  a  faint  smile.  she  could  sense  how  apprehensive  he  was  &  in  order  to  avoid  a  potential  scene  with  whomever  raz  was  bringing  to  them,  she  needed  to  soothe  him,  even  if  it  was  just  temporary.  the  last  thing  she  wanted  was  to  have  to  explain  to  the  queen  why  there  was  blood  in  the  war  room...  again.   ❛   worrying  about  this  stranger  is  not  going  to  help  us  win  the  war.  besides  if  a  daedric  prince  is  trying  to  enslave  us  all,  we  need  to  be  strong  &  keep  our  composure.   ❜

there  had  been  whipsers  about  the  notorious  THIEVES GUILD  recruiting  new  members  floating  around  skyrim.  the she-elf  often  kept  her  ears  open  since  she  knew  that  such  rumors  often  held  some  truth  within  them  &  with  that  truth,  there  could  be  OPPORTUNITY.  since  the  imperial  forces  favoured  maven  blackbriar,  irisik’s  mission  was  to  ensure  that  when  the  civil  war  ended  &  if  the  empire  emerged  VICTORIOUS  that  the  guild  could  easily  be  taken  care  of.  the  last  thing  she  wanted  was  the  thalmor  to  be  able  to  have  more  control  that  they  could  use  to  ABUSE  to  cause  more  pain  &  suffering.

the  bee  &  barb  was  allegedly  the  place  to  go  if  anyone  wished  to  join  the  guild  &  as  irisik  sat  at  a  dimly  lit  table   ─   situated  perfectly  to  give  her  the  most  advantageous  seating  so  she  could  easily  gauge  the  happenings  in  the  establishment.  her  sight  may  be  lacking  but  her  hearing  was  acute,  allowing  her  to  catch  any  whisper  that  a  patron  spoke  &  every  drunken  stumble.  it  was  here  she  would  wait   ─   listening  for  any  utterance  that  could  assist  her  motives.
