i think ive done great

i acted as if i could be an exemplary

apparently im still far from good..

i made mistakes

i hurt people

i probably made them cry in silence

i broke people’s heart

i disappointed them..

but Allah sees every smallest act I did

the most insignificant one

that no one will ever notice

so i try my best to keep going.. wishing His guidance is always beside me

Your mind is a suggestion engine. Every thought you have is a suggestion, not an order. Sometimes your mind suggests that you are tired, that you should give up, or that you should take an easier path. But if you pause, you can discover new suggestions. For example, that you will feel good once the work is done or that you have the ability to finish things even when you don’t feel like it. Your thoughts are not orders. Merely suggestions. You have the power to choose which option to follow.

Ketika kita menjadikan standar pencapaian orang lain sebagai tolok ukur kesuksesan, maka yang kita dapatkan bukanlah kepuasan. Sebab mau sampai kapanpun, akan ada orang yang selalu seratus langkah di depan kita. Yap. Zaman sekarang tidak mudah menjadi orang terkaya ke 999 di negeri. Sementara generasi kita terbiasa dengan hal-hal yang tiba-tiba berubah dan langsung menuju keberhasilan.

Lain halnya saat kita menjadikan diri kita sebelumnya menjadi pesaing untuk diri kita sendiri. Bukankah ada pepatah bahwa kita harus lebih baik dari hari ke hari?

Saat kita bisa bersaing dengan kesuksesan orang lain, memang kita akan puas. Tapi kepuasan itu justru menimbulkan rasa haus yang tidak ada habisnya. Sebaliknya, saat kita berhasil mengalahkan ketidakmampuan kita di masa lalu, ada kebanggaan yang sulit diungkapkan.

Generasi kita memang dibombardir dengan pemandangan kehidupan orang lain. Itulah sebabnya kita selalu merasa bahwa hidup kita merasa kurang nyaman dan puas. Padahal ada jutaan pemandangan yang lebih indah tanpa perlu disebarluaskan. Ada milyaran manusia yang masih punya senyum manis tanpa perlu diposting ke Instagram.

Berbahagialah, tanpa perlu sebab yang mewah. Tersenyumlah, tanpa perlu perangkat yang megah.
