Hello! I’m okay for the most part. Nothing terrible, just not great. I lack my usual sparkle but I’m as hopeful as ever it’ll come back. Without it (also factoring in this pandemic bubble) I have gotten up to exactly zero shenanigans and no mischief whatsoever. But I still cook, so have some food pics.
The first one has some great art attached, because the store bought chicken was not good. But the potato gratin is from the Balthazar cookbook and it’s very delicious. The rest of them in order are:
Alison Roman’s Spiced Braised Short Ribs, my more classic version of short ribs, Julia Child’s Boeuf Bourguignon, my thanksgiving 2.0 pork chop meal, a roast chicken on top of bread cubes that soak up all the chicken fat and juices and bake into a stuffing/crouton hybrid, pork schnitzel, a spicy little gochujang wing plate, the spaghetti limone from Vincenzo’s Plate that I love so much, and my very favorite apple pie that has a crisp topping and a drizzle of salted caramel.
