Okay but what if when they're getting raided Adrian comes clean about everything to Chris. He tells him about trying to kill his father, about going to prison, and as he talks he gets more and more emotional, and Chris, as expected, blows up and starts yelling back at him, demanding to know why he would do that (because Chris knows Vigilante. He knows that this guy who still refuses to smoke pot after it became legal wouldn't just hop into prison to kill a guy for no real reason) and as the cops are breaking down the door Adrian just screams "Because I love you!" And then there's just silence. Chris goes quiet. Adrian goes quiet and he's got tears in his eyes. Even the cops who broke down the door pause for a second because they have no idea what they just walked into.

And then there's several ways this could play out; Adrian, already emotional, could bolt and then you have Chris, who has finally processed what he just said, getting strong-armed by the cops (because they're after him, not adrian) and demanding for them to let him go because he has to go after him or you could have Adrian surrender to the cops first because he would rather be in jail than face the possible rejection from his idol and man I need this to play out. This is what I want from this show now. James Gunn I'm here. Give me a call.
