A/N: I know it’s been so long since I’ve posted like literally it’s been ages. Lol, so here’s a drabble I just made up bc if I didn’t write it, it would go away.
When the name Kiseok is mentioned, an awkward silence fills the room. The clock ticking could be heard in the background as Seong-hwa began to clear his throat. He didn’t know what else to do or say when he was around you due to the fact that you were one of his best friend’s ex. The way Kiseok’s name had left his lips sounded as if it was by accident. He mentioned him and it was just by the slip of his tongue. You froze in place, wondering whether you should let it be and pretend that you never heard his name or just tell Seong-hwa your opinion on your current ex. And of course, you chose the latter.
A small chuckle left your lips leading Seong-hwa to become confused. What was there to laugh about?
“I don’t get how you could hate Kiseok so much, y/n,” Seong-hwa was fazed at the fact that you could giggle at Kiseok’s name, but he didn’t know the true history behind it so he let it be. “What did he do to make you loathe—“
“No matter how much it seems to you and others that I despise him, I still love him at the very same time,” you admitted, a small smile of dejection placed on your lips as you remembered the worst that had happened in your relationship. “I just couldn’t stand to be with someone who didn’t want to grow together,” you gave out a huff, sitting on the sofa across from Seong-hwa, back hunched over as your elbows prodded against your thighs while your hands held your face. “I also can’t be with someone who did me wrong so many times,” you didn’t go into full detail about what Kiseok did because if you did, you’d feel as if you would break down into tears.
Seong-hwa gulped. Did he really want to know all the things he did wrong to you? Did he really want to know the chaos that erupted and have it ruin his image of his own best friend? “What did Kiseok do?” He took in the bait. He wanted to know your reasons and the things Kiseok did.
“One: Excuses,” you confirmed as your index finger went up to count all the things Kiseok did to you. “He’d always make something up. Two,” you help your middle finger along with your pointer. “He didn’t see much of the good that would help us grow together. And three: he—” before you could even finish the third reason, your voice began to break down, “he cheated.” Your hand slowly returning back to your side as you gazed at your feet, unable to hold eye contact with Seong-hwa afraid of what he’ll say next.
“Y/n,” he called out your name as his head began to shake in an unapproving way at the last reason. To think that he would want to hear better out of Kiseok only to become disappointed. That was his best friend, for crying out loud and the last thing Seong-hwa would’ve wanted was to tarnish his own image. “I’m sorry—”
“There’s no need to apologize when you weren’t the one who hurt me,” you interrupted his apology on behalf of his best friend. “The reason why I don’t want to say his name is because it gives off a bitter taste on the tip of my tongue. And it becomes rather sweet in the end because of my love for him. But, I know that I can’t go back to him.”
Seong-hwa knew that in this moment, when he saw your face, it would’ve broken Kiseok’s heart to know how much damage he’s done to you.

warning: mentions of a dead reader
“Kiseok,” the way his name came out of your mouth made it feel like it was an everyday thing and he loved the sound of it. But, it was only his imagination that had woken him up. The sun blazing through the curtains that would try to keep it from beaming in was a fail as it had shone brightly onto his lids. The empty bedside next to him was a sign of reality because you weren’t there.
When the AOMG crew’s snapchats consist mostly of the weird & silly shenanigans of their derp CEO Jay Park. I don’t blame them, cos the dude is endlessly entertaining lol.
