Just something I have been working on in my spare time. Hope you all are doing well today, stay safe the worldwide heat wave is no joke currently got 3rd degree burns and blisters after swimming in my Aunts new pool with my family, it's been pretty rough haha. 😅 I had a good time at least... I recently tried out Reshade for the first time, and had a lot of fun experimenting with the graphics, changing sims 4's graphics to something more of what I have in my mind. I made a few different presets which I may release at a later point. See my other post about my Dark Fantasy Preset. Me and my nephew recently started playing Zelda Twilight Princess and it has been nice to revisit one of my favorite games he has never played a Zelda game before and he has watched me play through OOT and MM years ago, so it inspired me to want to create a dark fantasy style twilight princess Reshade, like the world engulfed by partial twilight, a unique fantasy type feel to the world of sims and I am really pleased with the results. I can show you all that in another post. I am working on a few different reshade presets actually Dark Fantasy - which is similar to the world engulfed by Twilight from Zelda Twilight Princes, it's mostly black and white but with some slight color and a feel of dusk. My Dark Fantasy Black and White version also feels perfect cinematically for a zombie apocalypse scenario. ------------------------------------- Dark Fantasy With Color. Has a bit of an 80's fantasy vibe similar to the AI Dark Fantasy Trend a while ago. ----------------------------------- Sims 2 Preset - This is my personal preset I am working on that will make the world more vibrant, sharper contrast, a little more vibrance but a little less saturation, more realistic and colorful altogether. Much more realistic, also tries to be more like the real Earth. I started trying to copy The Sims 2's graphic style but it might be a little more realistic, so I may make a couple versions of this one later. I want the Sims to look improved too without changing them too much, the world however I am in love. Feels like the 90's. I swear as a 90's kid, the 90's were more colorful than nowadays, more contrast in greens, more vivid blue skies The world had more color back then, and so did Sims 2 since it was close to those times. For this post I am just gonna share a showcase of images of my Sims 2 Preset. The more vibrant images are my reshade Sims 2 Preset, the more dull ones are the original Sims 4 graphics.

Tybalt Capp Sim - Young Adult (YA) (Sims 2 to 4 Recreation) Tybalt Capp from The Sims 2 College Aged - By Simdrew1993

Hey there, Simdrew1993 here with one of my newest creations. Tybalt Capp from The Sims 2, pronounced Tib-alt. I made him just slightly only a little bit older than in Sims 2. So probably around 21 or so. A Young Adult. Tybalt's face was probably one of the most difficult faces I've ever worked with but I'm pretty happy with the end result, I mean the guy has cheekbones that could probably cut through diamonds or sharpen a chainsaw haha.. Seriously was not easy to make. ^_^" So I have the greatest amount of respect for everyone else out there that also made Tybalt Sims.

I spent literal hours initially, which amounted to many days actually lol.

I made him just slightly older than in Sims 2 maybe by 2-3 years, I'm actually pretty happy with how Tybalt turned out. He feels realistic, yet still has that Sims 2 classic vibe to him, and a little bit of that cartoon feel from Sims 4 as well, very little though as I focused mostly on realism. I think it's a perfect balance between realism and cartoony.

Tybalt is one of my favorite premade characters from The Sims 2. I always thought the Monty and Capp families were interesting and had a lot of good lore. In the lore both the families were involved in Mafia type stuff like mobsters, even involving murder, real godfather type stuff, and Tybalt's parents along with Romeo and Mercutio's parents were all murdered tragically, but their deaths were said to be "accidents" supposedly, along with a few other relatives who also had accidental deaths. Tybalt and Mercutio are the oldest in their younger generation and they hate eachother because of their family's history. Romeo Monty, and Juliette Capp and Hermia Capp (Tybalt's Sisters) however don't care much about the feud as much as he does, they are slightly younger with Tybalt being the oldest sibling, and Mercutio Monty being the oldest to Romeo Monty. It was always really difficult to bring these 2 families together in sims 2, but usually worth it when they all get along. Hermia Capp (Tybalt's Youngest Sister) was the only one that didn't truly hold a grudge with anyone in the Monty family she stayed out of it and kept the peace. Juliette held a strong dislike for Mercutio (Romeo Monty's) older brother and he did towards her as well. Tybalt held a grudge towards both Romeo and Mercutio, and it was mutual, although with Mercutio it was much worse as they are arch enemies. ================================================== Tybalt Capp Tray Files can be downloaded here free on my Patreon Also be sure to download all other required files ==================================

Mercutio Monty Sim Older - (Sims 2 To 4 Recreation) - Adult Aged Mercutio Monty from The Sims 2 (Adult Aged Edition) - By Simdrew1993

Hey there Simdrew1993 with one of my newest Sims 4 creations, this time Mercutio Monty Adult (Older) Edition, pronounced - Mer-cue-sheo. Romeo's older Brother from The Sims 2. He's one of my favorite sims in the Sims 2 and I think he turned out really well. I spent many hours on his face, his nose especially was super hard to make. To get an older look I used my Young Adult (YA) Mercutio Sim and made parts of his face smaller and different shaped since aging does that in real life lol.

For the face, hair and beard, I was a bit inspired by a few different characters/people, Ezio Auditore from Assassins Creed and the guy who composed for Paralives - Andrei Castañon since both of them look like an Older Mercutio lol. I also took my young Mercutio and compared the face changes of Sims 4's Romeo and tried to give them a bit of similarities very small amounts though, for the most part Adult Aged Mercutio still has most of my Younger Adult (YA) Aged Merc's face, just slight small changes to reflect aging. Mercutio Monty Sim - Young Adult (YA) (Sims 2 to 4 Recreation) Hey there Simdrew1993 with one of my newest Sims 4 creations, this time Mercutio Monty, pronounced - Mer-cue-sheo. Romeo's older Brother from the Sims 2. He's one of my favorite sims in the Sims 2 and I think he turned out really well. I spent many hours on his face, his nose especially was super hard to make. I gave him several traits, Sims 4 actually allows up to 6 Personality traits naturally, 3 in CAS and 3 more in their life. Then an unlimited amount of non personality traits/life traits. I normally make him play guitar too as a skill since he always wore a leather jacket in Sims 2. I tried to make Mercutio just like his personality in Sims 2 except a bit more developed, so he has the traits, Geek, Slob, Lazy, Bro, Goofball, and outgoing. He's also a grief survivor, same with my Tybalt Sim since they both lost their parents in tragic events, would be a good trait for Batman too.

Hey there everyone Simdrew1993 here. With one of my newest creations, the queen has returned! Hermia Capp. Older Adult Version (AF) (Adult Female)

Were you disappointed that Hermia Capp was not in The Sims 4 Royal and Legacy? Me too.. I like to think she is living her best life, and Puck and Bottom Summerdream are as well as Mercutio Monty all back in Veronaville. In my own headcanon, I like to imagine that she would have been the heir to the Capp Dynasty but she was always seen as rebellious so Consort wasn't too happy, but she just didn't want to lead the family with all the drama and dark history so she agreed to step down as the leader of the Capp Dynasty in exchange Tybalt would supply her with wealth and a lavish lifestyle so then he could rule the family name. But perhaps things aren't going so well nowadays, rumor of scandals, drama and Tybalt seems miserable and lost his way so she may decide to either reclaim her throne, or help guide her brother to a better more prosperous path as an advisor.

Anyway I spent alot of time working on her, I started by creating her face off of my Tybalt and generating a sister from him then spent many hours getting her face just right to my liking, I also added freckles and some wrinkles same as Juliette however I made her look slightly a bit younger and more makeup less rough since she has lived a life of luxury and has grown skilled in many ways over the years. Hermia Capp's Sim face definitely has a resemblance to both Tybalt and Juliette Capp from Sims 2, I tried to make her appearance similar to Sims 4's Julliette as well so you could easily tell they are sisters. I think she turned out really beautiful though. I tried to make her still have a little punk rock look to her in some outfits still, but for the most part she has a very classy and majestic look yet still feels like a rebel, you can tell she grew up nicely away from the Capp family on her own. Living a very wealthy and lavish life style. I was kind of inspired by the beautiful late Princess Diana as well.

Maybe Hermia returned to help her brother rule the kingdom, or maybe she plans to be the queen herself. After all, the Capp family was a Matriarch family that was supposed to have a female be family leader originally but Tybalt took over, and she would have been the heir to the Capp Legacy after Julliette. I imagine because she was rebellious Consort disowned both her and then Julliette for getting with Romeo Monty who's only crime was being a Monty, and so he made Tybalt the heir instead. But I could see her and Tybalt coming to an agreement that Tybalt support her with wealth and she step down as next in line. I added freckles and details to make her look more realistic and I worked on her face extensively for hours on end to ensure she looked just like her Sims 2 self but older, she is aged up as an Adult. I'm a bit of a perfectionist so I don't share my work unless I really feel satisfied with the end result. I really focused more on making her look like how I imagined she would be now, very classy yet still rebellious. ==================================================

override of the singing animation with microphone

I really wanted to play with singers and at the same time I really didn’t want to see funny singing animations.

so, I replaced all the animations of singing with a microphone with calmer ones. I'm not good at animation, so I settled on these simple ones.

when a sim's singing skill increases, the animations on jazz and drama songs will become a little more complex and "accent" animations will also appear. you can see them if you watch the video in the title.

problem: during the animation, the sim sometimes just suddenly stands up. this happens not only with override, but also without it (I tested this without mods at all). maybe override increases the number of freezes, I can’t say for sure. I understand how such things can be confusing, so I warn you.

Today is a very exciting day for me as I get to share another video I voiced in, I did many voices in this Zelda Breath of The Wild Animation and Tribute to the anime Princess Mononoke, animation by RwanLink

I played the voice of Link, Ganon, the Villagers and Impa, and the Narrator. I'm not used to playing the main hero and it was the first time I've voiced Link before In an Animation, I hope that you like my voice work, and please give some love to RwanLink for creating this wonderful work and Paya's VA and the Composer too, they did a remarkable job!

So I created the Dark Lord of Evil, Ganondorf from The Legend of Zelda for The Sims 4. Now this one took me quite a long time to make, he uses lots of custom content from others and alot made by myself. But I’m really happy with the end result! I plan to upload him later for download, many years ago I won an award for creating one of the best creations online and in the community on ModTheSims my Sims 2 version of Ganondorf who was widely popular with so many downloads. Well I’d say my Sims 4 version may actually beat my old one. I’m really proud of the way he turned out!

You may have not seen enough to know what I make, well I make celebrity Sims, Video Game Characters, Politicians, Real People, and Anime and Cartoon characters. I design and create most of my own (Custom Content) CC and Mods, and sculpt a very accurate face, and oftentimes use other high quality Simmers content to help finish the job. What I hope to see after uploading my content, screenshots! AND LOTS OF EM! Videos, Art, Screenshots, using my creations, stories using my characters. I spend hours sometimes even days, months or years on projects off and on for just myself, I create my work for personal use because usually it’s something that isn’t available or been done yet, so I decide I will make my own then to keep myself happy. And I figure if it gives me this much joy I mise well upload them to give others some of that joy too. 

I may also upload to ModTheSims as well! That’s where my Sims making started. The Actress who voiced Zelda and the Composer did a great job in this video. Our team did a wonderful job! The animation quality is a bit similar to Naruto and this video is more like an anime merged with Zelda Breath of The Wild and is something I don't think RwanLink has ever really done before. 

And he's even provided me with advice, and I'm motivated to likely start YouTube again..I've helped make other YouTubers there successful but my channel always falls short because I've sadly neglected it, the reason is because the system algorithm there seems to hate on me haha, :D so uploading content myself seems pointless and even my comments sometimes disappear but the sky is the limit so I'm gonna aim high and just go for it. Wish me luck with my own YouTube again!

Watched the new Sims 4 EP trailer. 

I legit thought it was a stuff pack at first glance of the thumbnail and title. I was like, “Ah, so they are making the Eco-Living stuff pack from the survey… wait EP? Nah, that can’t be right… Oh, it is an Expansion pack… well okay then.”

I know everyone’s done complained about this, but Sims 4 will never be the game Sims 2 was. I was talking to a friend of mine who was a big Sims 2 player and he linked me these videos showing all the details Sims 2 had in it. After watching those vids I was able to see how much work and effort Maxis put into that game. Its like they actually cared and wanted Sims 2 to be bigger and better than Sims 1. At this point Maxis can add as many DLC as they want, but I don’t see there ever being a future where they can bring Sims 4 up to par with Sims 2. It’s just lacking too much core gameplay. Too much work for Maxis to bother fixing at this point. 

Sure I’ll probably get this EP and continue to play Sims 4. Make the best of a worst situation and all, but I’ll always wonder what Sims 4 could’ve been if it was still the Sims 2 Maxis team working on it.

Of course I send my Mystery Inc. sims to StrangerVille. Who better to solve the mystery of StrangerVille than Scooby and the gang?

Shaggy begins gathering clues. Starting with the weird plants.

Later him and Scoob encounter their first weirdo townie.

“Like ZOINKS! Let’s get out of here, Scoob!”

They then go to the local bar. To their surprise they find an anime character working as the mixologist.

Shaggy questions the locals. Andrew WK seems to know more than he’s letting on…

Further interrogation of Andrew WK leads the gang to a Secret Lab in the middle of Nowhere. Can’t search for clues on an empty stomach, so Shaggy prepares food.

Fred, lacking sleep from their expedition beginning at 4 AM, decides its now time for some Secret Lab brand State-of-the-Art Coffee.

They hit a dead end when the reach their first impassable obstacle. A big locked door. Velma tries to decide how much TNT they need to blow this door down (or how much of Shaggy’s power he should use to bust it down.)

The gang returns to the town as Shaggy decided he’d rather not waste a single fraction of his power opening the metal door. Realizing they had no funds for the dynamite too, they decided to take a more subtle approach and look for a keycard to open the lab door.

Needing a ridiculous amount of evidence (15 pieces per sim with them being a gang of 4 people excluding Scooby totaling in 60 PIECES!) They knew this was not going to be an easy task. LUCKILY they stumbled across a local flea market that just so happened to be selling an abundance of Top Secret Documents. Yay.

On their way back to their home. Fred was mercilessly attacked from a psycho townie. Was this it for Fred? How would Mystery Inc. continue without their ingenious trap master? Who could possibly intervene and save Fred in his hour of need? Just then a voice rang out from down the street.

“Good grief…”
