I have some things that I use in my game to make my sims look smoother, One is a light mod by Harrie called Lightbrigade. The other thing I use is cc, which here is the link. It is by Grimcookies and he has Lazarus i and Lazarus ii (which is the one linked below.) If you have followed me over from Youtube, I can post more of the mods and CC that I use and even put out a video showing the Mods, then another showing the main CC.
