This is my first and only world for the Sims 3! I created it for myself but decided to share since I wanted to give back in some way to an amazing community :)
Vendon is inspired by Europe and mostly England (which is where I live). The world was created with performance in mind - I wanted something diverse and still have it run smoothly. Vendon is not just a pretty face; it is player friendly!
DESCRIPTION
Along the banks of Themsim River lies the bustling city of Vendon. Rich in culture, history and architecture, Vendon always surprises its visitors with its vivid life. In Greater Vendon you will find the university town of Simbridge, the rough streets of Thistleton, the suburban family dream Little Cringing and the never-ending rural hills of Lurrey. And please, don’t forget to pack your umbrella. Welcome!

Vendon is a large world, but created with performance in mind. There are 102 lots; 25 residential, 58 commercial and 19 empty. This may sound like too much, but many of the commercial lots are tiny underground stations or decorations. The world runs very smoothly!
REQUIREMENTS
All expansion packs up to and including ITF, and the CC listed below. Vendon is missing a few rabbitholes and lot assignments (mainly some bars and venues, and the ITF rabbitholes) because MAN I’m tired of building. There is however space for expanding!

The Customsims site is down and so is the Lunasims download link, so I included them with my Vendon download - THEY ARE NOT MY CREATIONS.
Retaining walls by GelinaSims, my custom-made distant terrain and Blue Skies & Sunshine lighting mod by Brntwaffles are included in the world and will not have to be added in any way.
HOW TO INSTALL
Before you do anything else, place the CC from the downloaded Vendon folder in your Mods/Packages folder.
Vendon is not a .sims3pack file but a .world file. Why? Because it’s easier to install and my Launcher is being a little bitch. Simply place the Vendon.world file in Program Files/Sims 3/GameData/Shared/NonPackaged/Worlds. That’s it! No Launcher needed.
To install the necessary savegame, place the Vendon.save folder in Documents/Sims 3/Saves.
