After a lifelong wish to have a child, three years of fertility treatment, 11 miscarriages, and generally so much pain and heartbreak... I'm finally going to be a mama in four weeks! I'm taking in a two-year-old girl. I can't believe I finally get to hear someone call me mama.

I'm currently visiting her at the orphanage every day, so we get to know each other before she moves in with me in mid-October. I'm so in love! So incredibly in love! I had no idea what love was before I met my daughter ♥

Not sure if this is goodbye or just 'see you later', but it's definitely going to be quiet around here for a while. I'm soaking it all in, and I don't want to spend a minute away from my girl. This is paradise 🤱

{A couple of months later} "It turned out that Rebekah comes from a very rich family, and her grandparents bequeathed a huge farmhouse. Rebekah wasn't interested in it at first. It's too big for a single person, she said. She's also not interested in gardening or taking care of animals. She prefers hunting them 🙈 So she stayed in her little shed in Moonwood Mills. But I talked her into showing me the farmhouse... and it was love at first sight! It was a bit dilapidated as no one had taken care of it in years. However, with a bit of magic and a lot of hard work, I began to turn it into a home. There's still a lot to do. I can only focus on one room at a time. But even Bekah is slowly starting to like the place 🥰️ I love it! I love it so much! It's home! I'm currently working on the baby's nursery, or rather reworking our bedroom, which will include the nursery. I can't wait to raise my child here 💖" - Avalon
