Hi There,

I'm here but I'm not. Sorry this isn't a sims pic. I haven't opened my game since the end of September.

The issue that forced me into hiatus is still being dealt with. I was hoping it would be nothing but a bad memory by now. I will be okay, but surgery needs to happen and I don't know when that will be it. It is either going to be right before Christmas or after the new year. Since it is the holiday season, I don't want to yap too much about it. If there is a interest after the holidays are over and surgery is done, I will share then.

As of today I'm on a hiatus until further notice. I was thinking about taking time off for the holidays anyway, but something has come up that needs my attention before Thanksgiving.

I'm not in the mood to play, so I decided to try to figure out how to fix problems like this.

My problem with this image is it is... blah. The background is lit up, but where I want attention ( the propeller and the sign) is stuck in a shadow.

I played with all kinds of filters and overlays but nothing was fixing the actual problem. Lucky for me, Phlearn posted a new new tutorial. I pulled the info from the tut that applied to my image and suddenly, I was actually getting somewhere.

I fixed the shadow problem, added a snow overlay and now it isn't the gloomy mess I started with. It still isn't a interesting pic, but it is a improvement.

Prepping for a new save. Installed this TS3 preinstalled set, it's nice not have my store content as custom content! Since I'm doing a fresh-ish install I decided to just reinstall all my cc.

Please pray for my dumb ass. I need it. Cause of the dumb.

So here's some filler from when I was testing different lighting as well as working on PS workflow for working on fur.

If anyone knows where I can find cute little bat wings for pets (don't get me wrong, these ones are nice they're just a tad too big) PLEASE HIT ME UP!

If the share button on the new tumblr UI on PC annoys you because that's where the like button used to be, you can simply add the following to your personal filters in uBlock Origin:

That should get rid of the share button

I did what latmosims wrote in the comments: In the uBlock browser extension go to settings > personal filters and add the line

www.tumblr.com##.c79Av > .FtjPK > div > .qYXF9 > .gm9gb > .ndAE7 > div:not(.rtfvT)

This blocks the whole share part.

Works like a charm!

i've been working on the aquarium! i've been retexturing a lot of the fish to better match the northern climate of tørsvall, and when i couldn't edit the jellyfish to be moon jellyfish, i ended up making a new effect!

A Bunch of Nothing: Part 1.

These are from my adventures of game testing before the butt crack of dawn in real time. I had my game open for almost 3 hours. There was no crashing, no weird UI issues, ect... If i say my game is fixed, something will break so I'm not putting that energy out there until I know my game isn't going to do weird things.

There will be a part two of my Bunch of Nothing pics.

It is stuff like this that keeps me from playing my game.

Does anybody know what causes this? My game has been this way for about 10 minutes. I need to restart it, but I wanted to get a screenshot of the missing UI and other foolishness that is going on.

How do I fix this?
