so excited to show you this new neighborhood omg
Stunning!
Made a couple of aesthetic updates, featuring changes in the family dining/tasting room, added some deco detail and got rid of the greenhouse, putting a skylight over the game room/lounge, in its place. More work to do on the exterior, as well as the kitchen. Plan is to keep CC minimal and upload at some point.
Wine Bar & Restaurant inspired by a mini village house I found on Pinterest :]
The Sims 2: Chinese Christmas Teddy Bear Edition
Testers wanted
I'm looking for people with some spare time who would like to test an experimental mod for dyeing objects in the buy/build mode. And then check how they behave in the live mode.
I would like to receive your feedback, including any issues you encounter and suggestions you have.
If youâre interested, DM me on Tumblr or Discord.
Here's a short video showing the current state of the mod:
Truly revolutionary!
71 Bard Boulevard
After several false starts, I think I'm finally happy with the Summerdream mansion đ§ Like a lot of other people, I completely rebuilt the exact house on a flat lot to startâobviously made quite a few structural changes for the final version, though!
The sunken living room is right in front of the entrance, because I thought it would be funny if the first thing visitors saw upon entering was Oberon's home videos on a theatre-sized screen.
THE SIMS 2 - Night People
Iâm not feeling so well today, and I donât really know what Iâm in the mood for.
Maybe Iâll play Sims later, maybe I wonât.
In the meantime, letâs enjoy this picture â the calm atmosphere of the Sims library.
Itâs getting dark.
The Sims are doing research, having their last meal, and saying goodbye.
Theyâre heading back to the dorms.
More Cottagecore
Another little green cottage started tonight.
Latest WIP!
A quaint cottage inspired by a photo I used chatGPT to make, using various prompts.
Honestly, Iâm not too thrilled with the idea of using AI for creativity⌠but it certainly helps when youâre struggling to paint the image thatâs in your head. :)
Think Iâll make several houses of this style in the future.
Someone very kindly let me know that one of mutske's Victorian Gables I converted for the 2019 Daisy Chain was throwing a testingcheats error. I've updated the archive linked at GoS (hidden gift) but here are just the fixed files. Sorry for the problem!

Love these!
Roof Match Mania!
âA Bit Steepâ Mansard Roofing
I love the deco roof pieces that came with Apartment Life and Mansion & Garden Stuff, I really do. But my main issue with them has always been that they donât have all the roof patterns, and in fact only Mansion & Garden Stuff came with matching roof patterns, so I couldnât mix and match without my obsessive compulsive tendencies going haywire!
So I fixed it!
Now the AL and M&G roof pieces have (almost) all the Maxis roof patterns from Basegame, University, and Bon Voyage!
Preview and Download below the cut!

Does anyone know what happened to @lesyasun?
She has a wonderful Graphics Guide that I link to new Sims 2 players all the time. I was able to find in on the Wayback Machine and while Iâm glad the guide still exists, I am still so saddened. Absolutely loved her gameplay pictures, posts and helpful tips. If sheâs under a different username, please reply with a link, as I would love to continue following her.
Thank you in advance.
