Moments in THE NEW FUTURE that literally brought me tears.

1️⃣(Almost) Everyone (except Cartman) were there. Timmy can walk and talk.

2️⃣Shelly and Sharon being alive (they absolutely deserve it).

3️⃣Kenny still becomes a scientist and keeps his love to boobs.

4️⃣Tweek and Craig together!

5️⃣Stan & Wendy. I love this couple. They totally deserve a healthy relationship.

As far as we know now, future Cartman could be converted to Jewish just to fuck with Kyle or he just indeed be redeemed.

If Cartman just wants to fuck with Kyle: Just so Cartman. If there is anyone in this world just to mess with Kyle, then this guy would definitely be Cartman. That would be hilarious that after Kyle seriously believes him and starts to forgive or do anything Kyle-ish, and Cartman just jumped out and said ‘Fuck you Kyle’. That’s fun, as usual, very SP, but a bit cliche.

If Cartman literally be redeemed: Just so dark. Cuz life do change a person. The saddest thing about it is that we all have things we thought that would never change: childhood friendship, old lifestyle, people we love and familiar with, etc. , including our favorite little monster Cartman. Just because we don’t want it to change, the fact that everything changes becomes so hurtful. If Cartman change, it would probably be the most devastating character twist in SP history. But on the other hand, based on Cartman had kids and become a actually good father(for now we see), we could also consider it as some kind of make-up for not having a father around during his childhood. That would be sweet, at least making us realize that changes may be not so bad sometimes.

Which one is better? Idk. It’s even hard to tell which one is more sarcastic. Personally I’m looking forward the final answer, but I do believe that the next special may just keep the answer a mystery. It might just be the most long-lasting debate in SP topics: Do Cartman really changed or Can he?

One thing I really like about the Post COVID episode is that they literally make the older version of the character resemble the kid version. It’s just so convincing. Not just clothes and face sand voices etc, but some details like facial expressions. Like, adult Kyle would frown when he got angry like kid Kyle, and Stan’s tired expression did not change through the years. It’s just the way they act when they were kids but also different. I wonder how they make the character really convincing, the voices, clothes. Pretty cool.
