Summary: You somehow mysteriously get sick despite feeling fine the day before. Since you're sick and can't care for yourself, the Genshin men step up and take care of you while you're ill. After the men have successfully nursed you back to being healthy, you repay them back by making them breakfast.
Note: This is requested by anon! Honestly, thinking about the Genshin men taking care of me while I'm sick in bed is a dream. They would be so attentive and caring 𼺠Damn, this request is making me feel lonely 𼲠To my new and returning readers, I post on AO3 as well, so if you have an AO3 and see a work similar to this, itâs me (Aaliah_exo on AO3). I donât post anywhere else but on Tumblr (Genshinluvr) and on AO3 (Aaliah_exo).
Warnings: None that I know of đ¤ you getting sick? I don't know if that counts, but you get sick. Abnormally big pills that you're supposed to take? Oh! Mentions of vomiting/puking/hurling. You don't throw up in here, but you do have the urge to do so.

Youâre running a fever in the middle of the night out of the blue. It came out of nowhere. You woke up around two in the morning, feeling extremely hot. The room wasnât hot; it was your body that was hot. Before you went to bed, you felt just fine. But a few hours later, now, you woke up feeling awful. Your throat feels awfully dry, your head is pounding, your body is aching, and your body feels so hot, but you are shivering at the same time. You threw your blanket off of your body before getting up from your bed to grab a cup of water from the kitchen downstairs. You crept down the stairs, hoping that you wouldnât wake the others up from their sleep. You begin fanning yourself with your hands, a thin layer of sweat forming on your body.Â
Even though the mansion was at a decent temperature, you felt like you were on the surface of the sun. You pulled out a glass cup from the wooden cabinet before pouring yourself a cold glass cup of water to drink. You ended up losing count as to how many cups of water youâve consumed. You gingerly placed the glass cup down on the marble counter before walking to the living room. Your limbs felt heavy, and your eyelids were threatening to shut. You donât think you have the energy to be able to walk up the stairs and back to your bedroom, so you have decided to plop down on the couch in the living room. The minute your head hit the couch, your world went dark.
When the sun was rising, one by one, the men began to wake up. Sometimes, before going downstairs for breakfast, the men liked to go into your bedroom to wake you up. But when they went to your bedroom to greet you, they saw that your bedroom door was wide open and completely empty.
âHuh, could it be that [Y/N] has woken up ahead of us?â Itto asks, scratching his head in confusion.
Kazuha shakes his head in response to Ittoâs question, âIt canât be. [Y/N] doesnât wake up this early in the morning. If they were to wake up earlier than their normal time, they wouldâve gone back to sleep.â He crosses his arms over his chest.
âWell, if [Y/N]âs not in their bedroom, then where can they possibly be?â Xiao asks, looking at Kazuha with a skeptical look on his face. The men walked down the stairs, hoping to get a glimpse of you. The good thing was, they did find out where you were once they got downstairs. You were sleeping on the couch, completely passed out, which was a bit strange because the men knew that youâre not a huge fan of sleeping in open spaces like the living room. Mainly because you wouldnât be able to sleep after knowing that there are people in the same room as you while youâre unconscious.
âThere they are. [Y/N] had us worried sick!â Scaramouche sighs in relief, walking towards where you were sleeping. Zhongli slowly stopped in his tracks, noticing something strange about you. Zhongli slowly approached where you lay and pressed the back of his gloveless hand onto your forehead.
â[Y/N]âs running a fever,â Zhongli murmurs, looking over at the other men that stood around him.
âIt mustâve been a really bad fever because their face is flushed, and thereâs a thin layer of sweat forming at their forehead,â Kaeya says, slowly approaching Zhongliâs side. Soon enough, everyone was surrounding the area where you were asleep.
âAre you sure itâs an illness? [Y/N] says that they get overheated easily while theyâre asleep.â Baizhu says, raising an eyebrow at both Kaeya and Zhongli.
âIf they get overheated in their sleep easily, then why do they sleep in mountains of blankets every night? Even if itâs the summer, [Y/N] will continue to sleep with seventeen layers of blankets over them.â Scaramouche says, crossing his arms over his chest.
âOh, please. Donât exaggerate the number of blankets they sleep with at night.â Venti laughs softly, shaking his head.
âYeah! I believe four is the maximum amount of blankets [Y/N] sleep with.â Itto interjects.
âLetâs wake them up,â Gorou says.Â
Diluc and Dainsleif approached where you lay before beginning to shake you to wake you up. The first shake didnât wake you up; you remained asleep. You looked so worn out, almost in pain by the way your face was scrunching up. They werenât sure if it was from not wanting to wake up, which was understandable because youâre not a morning person, or if it was because you were feeling uncomfortable due to whatever was going on with you.Â
Dainsleif shakes you once more. You let out a quiet whine, eyebrows scrunching. The soft groan that left you sounded almost like you were in pain but were trying your best to suppress the awful feeling. You continued to sleep; your head turned to face the couch. Oh boy, waking you up from your slumber while youâre not feeling well is going to be complicated. Could this be the first time that you have caught an illness while spending your time in Teyvat? The men couldnât recall the time when youâd fallen ill.
â[Y/N].â
You felt someone shake you, but you continued to sleep. The voice sounded muffled as if you were underwater, and the person that was trying to get your attention was above the surface.
â[Y/N], wake up.â
Again, someone shakes you, trying to get you to wake up. You grumbled in response, turning over on your side and continuing to sleep. You hear collective sighs and groans of frustrations after you have turned on your side with your back facing their direction.
âDammit, [Y/N]! Wake up!â The voice was much clearer now. The person lightly patted your cheek while shaking you, you groaned and tried to push the person away from you, but your arms felt so heavy that they fell onto your torso. You cracked your eyes opened and squinted your eyes at the sight above your head. Fifteen faces were staring down at you worriedly; you rubbed your eyes before stretching your arms and legs out on the couch.
âWhy were you sleeping on the couch? We thought you were sleeping in your room.â Thoma asks, looking down at you in confusion.
âI donât feel well.â You mumbled, rubbing your eyes with the heel of your hands. Your throat begins to feel itchy and scratchy, making you cough lightly and clear your throat. You winced at the uncomfortable feeling in your throat. Great, now it's your throat thatâs acting up.
âYou what?â Diluc asks, looking at you in confusion.
âIâm not feelingââ You quickly turned your head away before coughing into your elbows. You winced before forcing yourself to sit up on the couch. You felt yourself slump over when a wave of dizziness hit you, causing you to lay back down on the couch. You covered your face and groaned with defeat. âIâm not feeling well.â You repeated yourself, clearing your phlegm-filled throat, making you wince at the disgusting feeling. âI feel like I got hit by a mitachurlâs wooden shield over and over again.â You added, looking up at the men tiredly.
Baizhu and Albedo pushed through the men to take your temperature, all while the others stood by and watched. Thoma quickly excused himself before walking to the kitchen to prepare breakfast for everyone to eat, is what you were assuming. You were so exhausted that Scaramouche, Gorou, and Xiao had to make sure that you were awake for the checkup that was conducted by Baizhu and Albedo. You almost dozed off a few times, only to feel Scaramouche lightly pat your cheeks to grab your attention. Your headache was worsening as time went by, making it almost unbearable for you to focus on what Baizhu and Albedo were asking you.
âYou didnât feel well, and yet you manage to get yourself downstairs,â Xiao says, looking at you quizically.
âI was feeling thirsty, my throat was dry last night, and I wanted to drink some water. I felt so tired that I couldnât get myself to go back to my room, so I chose to sleep down here instead.â You reply, rubbing your eyes tiredly.
âDo you want me to carry you back to your room? Iâm sure that sleeping on the couch isnât as comfortable as it is sleeping in your own bed.â Kazuha says softly, brushing your hair away from your face. You nodded your head in response. Kazuha squats down in front of you; you slowly get off the couch (with the help of Zhongli and Ayato) before wrapping your arms around Kazuhaâs shoulders and your legs around his waist.
âHow did [Y/N] get sick?â Dainsleif asks, watching Kazhua give you a piggyback ride up the stairs to your bedroom.
âI donât know. [Y/N] seemed fine last night before going to bed.â Gorou sighs softly, his ears flattening on the top of his head.
âSince they have caught an illness, I am going to go to Bubu Pharmacy to get their medications right now. I should be back before nine in the morning.â Baizhu says, walking towards the entrance of the mansion. The men watch Baizhu leave the estate, the wooden doors closing behind him. The men turned towards one another. No one said anything before Childe decided to break the silence between them all.
âSo, [Y/N] has come down with a fever.â Childe comments, crossing his arms over his chest.
âIâve never seen anyone get sick like this. This is probably the worst kind of sickness anyone can possibly get.â Albedo says, stroking his chin with his eyebrows furrowing.Â
âItâs not going to kill [Y/N], is it?â Venti asks, looking around at the others with worry.
âIâm sure [Y/N] will be fine. Despite the severity of [Y/N]âs illness, itâs a common illness. [Y/N] should recover from it just fine.â Ayato says.
âAyatoâs correct. The sickness that [Y/N] has contracted is a common illness in Teyvat. Itâs not deadly, but it will leave [Y/N] bedridden for the next few days.â Albedo comments.
âIt may be a common illness in Teyvat, but [Y/N] is not from this world. We donât know how their body is going to react to this foreign sickness, let alone the medications that treat the illness.â Diluc says, frowning at Albedo with his arms over his chest.
âI understand the concern that you have for [Y/N], but the only thing we can do for now is hope that the medication that Doctor Baizhu is bringing back to the abode will suppress the symptoms of the illness.â Zhongli says, his gaze falling to the ground.Â
It was strange for you to get sick overnight suddenly. You were feeling just fine the day before, but then your temperature suddenly spiked in the middle of the night. It was weird; you didnât eat anything that could have possibly gotten you sick, and you didnât go anywhere near sick people or animals. How could you get sick with a common illness in Teyvat when you didnât leave the abode yesterday?
âYeah! Plus, the illness from Teyvat may not be as different from the illnesses in [Y/N]âs world.â Childe shrugs his shoulders.
âWhy are you a little bit chipper at a time like this?â Dainsleif asks, raising an eyebrow at the Harbinger in front of him.
âPerhaps heâs trying to keep a positive mindset in a dire situation like this,â Kaeya says, leaning against the wall of the abode.
âItâs quite concerning to see [Y/N] this way. Iâve never seen them so weak and vulnerable before.â Thoma says, entering the room with his arms over his chest.
âGentlemen, I believe that we all should care of [Y/N] while theyâre ill in bed. I think they will appreciate it, given that they wonât be able to do much while bedridden.â Ayato says, glancing upstairs where your bedroom was located.Â
The others nodded their heads at Ayatoâs comment before walking up the stairs to where you and Kazuha are at. Upon entering your bedroom, the men saw Kazuha tucking you into your bed while you were entirely out cold on your bed. The men assumed that Kazuha had shut the window blinds and had turned on the humidifier that was on your nightstand was turned on, water vapors coming out of the humidifier at the top.
âArchons, [Y/N]âs is out cold already?â Diluc murmurs, approaching where you lay before lightly feeling your face. He brushes your hair away from your face lightly with a quiet sigh.
âThe soup Iâm making for [Y/N] is still heating up. Once itâs done, Iâll bring it upstairs for them to eat. Itâs not good for them to go the entire day on an empty stomach.â Thoma says softly.
âEspecially when they need a lot of nutrients,â Scaramouche added, looking down at you.Â
Thoma nods his head at Scaramoucheâs comment. Thoma quickly presses his hand against your forehead one last time before he quickly walks over to your bathroom. Thoma turned on the faucet of the bathroom sink before turning it off. Thoma then returns to your bedroom with a wet towel in his hands. Gently, Thoma knelt on your bed beside you before placing the cold, damp rag on your forehead. The men hear a faint sigh of relief coming from you when the wet rag is placed upon your forehead. A small smile appears on Thomaâs face before he gently caresses your flushed cheeks in his hands; the small smile slowly disappears with a sad exhale.
âI hate seeing [Y/N] like this,â Venti says softly.
âDonât we all?â Gorou mutters, sitting at the edge of your bed while you continue to sleep.
Childe sighs softly, âWhat are we going to do now?â
âEasy, weâre going to nurse [Y/N] back to their normal healthy self,â Itto says, shrugging his shoulders as if it was the obvious answer.
An hour has passed by, and Baizhu has finally returned from Bubu Pharmacy with medications in his hands. And face masks for everyone to wear. Well, mainly for you since you were the one that was sick. You were still knocked out asleep in your bed when Baizhu had returned, so, Venti and Zhongli had to rouse you from your sleep since archons couldnât get sick like the mortals that are residing in the abode. After waking you up from your slumber, Baizhu handed you your medications to take. The good thing was that there were medications to treat the illness! The bad news? WellâŚ.
âThis pill is huge!â You squeaked, holding up the white pill in front of your face. You looked up at the fifteen men in horror before looking back at the pill between your thumb and index finger.
âYes, but it will help you heal much quicker,â Baizhu says, giving you a gentle smile.
âI canât swallow pills this big!â You squeaked, staring at the pill with wide eyes. The white tablet was the size of half of your index finger! It was huge! There was no way that youâll be able to swallow something as huge as that pill without choking and gagging! Quite frankly, you canât swallow pills in general unless theyâre really small!
âWhat do you mean you canât swallow pills?â Xiao asks, staring at you in disbelief.
âPills this big, Xiao. As Iâve said before, this pill is ginormous!â You said, holding it up to Xiaoâs face.Â
âItâs just pills. Iâm sure you can swallow it just fine.â Dainsleif reassures you. As much as you wanted to believe Dainsleif, you couldnât get yourself to do so. There was no way you would be swallowing something that big.
âUnless you want me to choke and die, sure!â You shrugged your shoulders, continuing to stare holes into the pill that you were holding between your thumb and index finger. Even though you havenât swallowed the tablet yet, you just know that you will be gagging and choking on the medication on the first try.
âDonât say that, [Y/N].â Zhongli chides you gently, shaking his head in disapproval. You pouted in response before letting your hands fall into your lap.
âI know the perfect way to get [Y/N] to swallow the pill!â Ayato spoke up, grabbing everyoneâs attention.Â
Ayato gestures to the men to follow him out of your bedroom. You watched them leave one by one before closing the door behind them. You stared at the door and then down at the massive pill in your hand. It looked intimidating; you never liked taking medication because you were afraid that you were going to choke on the tablets and probably die from it. You wouldnât mind swallowing the medication that Baizhu has prescribed and given to you if it wasnât so big! You were surprised that there wasnât a âchoking hazardâ label on the medication bottle because that will definitely happen if you were to be forced to swallow the medicine.
A couple of minutes later, the men finally walked into your room as if nothing had happened. You looked at them skeptically as Xiao approached your bed, sitting down beside you. Xiao grabs the pills from your hands, making you sigh in relief mentally. Perhaps Ayato has convinced Baizhu to get you liquid medicine instead of the pills.
âAre you sure you donât want to take your medicine?â Kaeya asks, raising an eyebrow at you.
You shook your head, âItâs not like I donât want to take my medicine! I would rather take the liquid form than the pills.â You said, scrunching your face up at the thought of having to swallow pills. You knew a few people in your world that could dry swallow pills, the thought of it made you visibly shudder.Â
âWhat if we tell you that thereâs a way for you to swallow your medication without any complication?â Albedo asks, leaning against the wooden bedframe of your bed.
âOh? Are you guys going to crush the pills up for me and put them in my drink? I would much prefer that method than having to swallow thisâŚ.â you held up the giant pill in the air in front of your face, â.... giant thing.â
Kazuha chuckles softly, shaking his head. âNot necessarily.â
You look at Kazuha in confusion; Baizhu nods his head to Xiao, who grabs the pill from your grasp before putting it into his mouth. You look at Xiao in horror as Itto hands Xiao the glass cup of water. Xiao pours water into his mouth before looking over at you. He grabs your face with both of his hands before slamming his lips against yours, catching you completely off guard. You struggled in Xiaoâs grasp, your mouth opening slightly, giving Xiao the opportunity to slip the pills into your mouth along with the water. You whined and began to struggle against Xiaoâs hold. Xiao pulls away from you, covering your mouth and pinching your nose close, preventing you from breathing. You were forced to swallow the water and giant pill down your throat. You could feel the huge pill slide down your throat along with the water. You pushed Xiao off of you and took deep gulps of air, your chest heaving as you tried to catch your breath.
âOh! It works like a charm!â Gorou says, looking over at Ayato with an impressed look on his face.
âI told you it would work,â Ayato says with a smug look on his face, the corners of his lips quirking up.
âOf all people, why Xiao? Why not me?â Childe asks, letting out a huff of breath, a tiny pout forming on his face.
âXiao is an adepti; adeptis and archons cannot get sick.â Venti shrugged his shoulders.
âThen how come you or Zhongli didnât do it?â Itto asks, crossing his arms over his chest before raising his eyebrows at Venti and Zhongli.Â
âItto, you were there. Xiao volunteered to make [Y/N] swallow the pills.â Albedo says, giving Itto a blank look.
âWell, it worked, and it was disgusting.â You shuddered. âOh! I meant that having to swallow the pills was disgusting, not Xiao or kissing Xiao himself.â You quickly added, looking away from Xiao and the others with a red face. Xiao clears his throat and looks away, his cheeks turning light pink from your comment.
âWell, you do need to take your medication in order to feel better,â Kazuha says, giving you a small smile.
Your eyes widened at Kazuhaâs comment, âI still have to swallow the giant pills!?â You looked over at the others in shock and fear. There was no way youâd be able to swallow those damn pills again! You know that youâre going to at least choke on the tablets at least once, and you definitely do not want to deal with the medications ever again.
âHow else are you supposed to recover from your illness?â Diluc asks, raising his eyebrows at you with his arms over his chest.
âI was hoping to just deal with the sickness while not having to swallow any pills that are almost the size of my pointer finger.â You grumbled, laying down on your bed. But the minute you laid down, you felt a wave of nausea wash over you. You quickly sat up and covered your mouth with your hand, hoping not to puke the pill back up.Â
âWhatâs wrong?!â Xiao asks, his eyes widening in fear and worry as he gently places his hand on your lower back. You shut your eyes tightly and shook your head, hand still covering your mouth. You were afraid that if you were to open your mouth to speak, you would throw up all over the place, and that wonât be a pretty sight to see.Â
âAre you okay?!â Thoma gasps, stepping up towards your bed before placing a gentle hand on your shoulders.Â
âOh, dear archons, youâre not going to throw up, are you?â Scaramouche scrunches his face up in disgust. You would be offended by Scaramoucheâs reaction, but honestly, you donât blame him one bit.
âAh, I forgot to mention that [Y/N] should take their medication right after eating. [Y/N] will feel nauseous if they take their medication on an empty stomach.â Baizhu says, scratching the back of his neck with a sheepish smile on his face. You gave Baizhu a look of disbelief while continuing to cover your mouth. You hate throwing up! You hate the feeling of it, the aftermath of it; the aftertaste was awful. You hate everything about it and never want to deal with puking ever again in your life, but it seems like you might have to deal with vomiting very soon.
âYou should have informed us of that earlier.â Dainsleif frowns at the green-haired dendro vision wielder, looking at Baizhu from his peripheral vision.
âShould we get a bucket just in case? Or maybe carry them to the toilet?â Kaeya asks, tucking his hands into the pockets of his pants.
You shook your head and swallowed the lump in your throat, the feeling of hurling settling to the side, making you sigh in relief. You slowly uncovered your mouth and slumped down in your seat, wiping the thin layer of sweat off your forehead.
Your voice shakes, âIâm fine, Iâm fine. The feeling went away.â
âYou donât look fine; you lost color to your skin.â Zhongli sighs, frowning at you.
âI just hate the feeling of throwing up. Itâs one of the things I donât want to experience ever again.â You sighed, running your trembling hands through your hair.
Thoma slowly pulls away from you, âIâm going to get you your food. I believe that we should take it easy when eating. I donât want you to throw everything up, and Iâm sure the others feel the same way.â Thoma says, leaning down to press a light kiss on top of your head. Thoma gives you a soft smile before walking out of your bedroom. You let out a weak exhale before laying down on your bed; you felt like you were run over and smacked by a shield-wielding mitachurl. You felt like crap, and you bet you look like one too, but you were afraid to go to the bathroom to look.
âHow are you feeling so far?â Albedo asks, sitting down beside you as he runs his fingers through your hair.
âAwful.â You mumbled, closing your eyes. âI feel like crap.â You added, slowly opening your eyes to look up at the alchemist above you with a slight frown on your face.
âYeah, no kidding. You look like you were thrown into the abyss!â Childe says, crossing his arms over his chest.
âGee, thanks, Childe! Thatâs definitely what I needed to hear.â You deadpanned, glaring at the ginger-haired Harbinger. Childe laughed nervously when Diluc and Ayato both nudged him in the stomach, causing him to wince slightly. He awkwardly clears his throat before quietly apologizing to you.
âYou didnât eat anything weird yesterday, did you?â Venti asks, plopping down on your bed beside you. Venti leans on his left arm as he gazes down at you, his slim index finger pushing the strands of hair away from your sweaty forehead. You paused for a moment, trying to recall what you ate the day before.
You shook your head, âI donât think itâs something I ate.â You let out a sigh, grabbing the face mask from Baizhuâs grasp before putting it over your mouth and nose.Â
A face mask is what you need because you donât want to get the other men sick just by being in the same vicinity as them. âPlus, if it was something I ate, I believe that it would do way worse things to me. Like give me diarrhea, make me vomit endlessly, and many more awful things.â You scrunched your face up in disgust. âI think it would be considered food poisoning, but I donât believe that I have food poisoning at all.â You added, pulling the blanket up to your chin with a yawn. You just wanted to sleep the sickness away, but since the illness was something that you have never experienced before, you donât think thatâs how sicknesses go away in Teyvat. Getting plenty of rest is one of the most important things when a person is ill but would sleeping the illness away work in Teyvat? You once had a fever in the middle of the night back in your world, and you slept the fever away. But your mother would make you take medications just for safety measures, and to make sure that you take medicine for the illness despite it being a twenty-four-hour sickness.Â
âIf itâs not the food, then what could it be? Surely, none of us are ill, and [Y/N] has not come to close contact with anyone that could have this sickness.â Ayato muttered, stroking his chin with his right hand. His eyes narrowed while trying to think of the possible cause for your sudden sickness. Just when you were about to doze off, you felt someone lightly poke your forehead. You cracked your eyes open, only to see Gorou and Itto staring down at you. You blinked up at them sleepily, rubbing your eyes with your fingers, mumbling to yourself.Â
âDo you guys need something?â You ask, sniffling as you move around on your bed to find a comfortable position.
âThoma is here with your food! You need to eat something before going back to sleep.â Itto says, crossing his arms over his chest.
âFood? Oh, Iâm not feeling hungry as of now.â You said, shaking your head.Â
Before Gorou could say anything, your stomach lets out a loud grumble. Everyone around you fell silent, staring at you with their eyebrows raised. You blinked back at them, feeling your face becoming hot. You werenât so sure if it was the fever that was on the rise again or if you were feeling humiliated over the fact that your stomach had utterly betrayed you.
âAre you sure youâre not hungry just a tiny bit?â Gorou whispers to you loudly before a playful smile appears on his face.
âCome on, why donât you want to eat?â Kaeya asks, sitting down on your bed as Thoma places the tray of food down on your bed.Â
âSometimes, I feel like Iâm hungry, but Iâm actually not!â You lie, adjusting the face mask that was slowly sliding down your face each time you spoke.
You pouted behind your mask, suddenly feeling like a toddler being scolded by their parents for wanting to skip lunch and go straight for the desserts. While you didnât mind eating something, since you technically didnât eat anything at all today other than being forced to swallow pills, you were afraid that you would puke those foods back up. After all, you did almost hurl whenever you consumed the giant medication that Xiao had forced down your throat.
âWhy donât you want to eat? If you donât eat, you wonât have enough nutrients in your body, and you wonât recover from your sickness fast.â Xiao says, letting out a quiet exhale.
âWell, for starters, Iâm afraid of throwing it all back up.â You began, crossing your arms over your chest. You winced when you felt the muscles in your arms tense up at the action. You slowly let your arms fall down to your sides. âSecond of all, I just want to sleep. Isnât one of the steps to recovering from an illness is to get plenty of sleep?â You raised an eyebrow at the men in front of you.
âYes, but you still need to eat something,â Dainsleif interjects, leaning against the wooden frame of your bed.
âNot getting enough nutrients can slow the process of your recovery. Not eating enough can also cause you to feel more fatigued and weak.â Zhongli states. You looked around the room, seeing the men nod their heads in agreement with Zhongliâs statement. You sighed in defeat and pulled the food tray towards you. Before you could reach out and grab one of the utensils, Thoma takes it away from you while shaking his head.
âYou wonât be feeding yourself. One of us will take turns to feed you your food,â Thoma says, giving you a soft smile.
âOkay, but I wonât be taking that giant medication again after Iâm done eating, am I?â You ask, looking over at the prescription bottle with a sour look on your face.
Baizhu laughs, âOf course not! You will be taking your medication again after dinner before you go to bed.â You grumbled in response before taking your face mask off, letting Thoma spoon feed you your breakfast.
The men ended up having their lunch in your bedroom as well. They mentioned something about wanting to keep you company and that having breakfast, lunch, and dinner without you would feel weird and empty. They didnât want to leave you out of anything, and it was sweet of them to think about you!Â
Now that the medication has settled into your system, you can feel its effects. Your eyelids were becoming heavier, and you felt your headache subsiding. Though, you believe that itâs only temporary. After all, the purpose of medication is to lessen the symptoms, not entirely get rid of the sickness itself. Well, maybe most can do that.
âI think the medication is starting to kick in,â Scaramouche commented, glancing over at you. You mumbled and rested your head on Scaramoucheâs shoulders. You slowly closed your eyes, humming in contentment when you felt Scaramoucheâs fingers comb through your hair. Archons, you love it whenever people play with your hair. You subconsciously wrap your arms around Scaramoucheâs waist, nuzzling yourself closer to him, causing Scaramoucheâs face to turn bright red from the sudden affection. Not that he was complaining! You can cuddle with him for hours if youâd like, and he will not complain at all!Â
âI believe that we should let [Y/N] rest now,â Albedo says softly, getting up from his spot and walking over to your bed to fluff up your pillows.Â
âCome on, [Y/N]. Letâs get you to bed, shall we?â Kazuha nudges you gently.Â
You nodded your head sleepily and turned to Kazuha, throwing your arms around his shoulders, burying your face into his chest. A soft pout appears on Scaramoucheâs face after you had pulled away from him, only to cling to another man that wasnât him. That didnât last as long as he had hoped it would.
Never in your life would you imagine yourself getting tucked into bed by fifteen menâ the same fifteen handsome men who have stolen your heart and spoiled you endlessly. The men didnât want to leave you to sleep in your room alone while feeling ill because who knew what else could happen when youâre sleeping or when youâre alone? You tried looking for a comfortable position to lay in your bed, but the more you moved around in your bed, the more frustrated youâve become. You flopped on your back with an angry huff, staring up at the ceiling with a pout on your face. Now how in the world are you going to fall asleep when you canât even get comfortable?
âHaving trouble with finding a comfortable position to sleep?â Dainsleif asks. Dainsleif looks amused as the corner of his lips slowly rises up. Archons, that smile of his will be the death of you someday.Â
âWas it obvious?â You mumble, taking your face mask off your face before placing it on your nightstand beside your bed. As much as you wanted the men to be safe and healthy by covering your face to prevent any bacteria from getting into their respiratory systems, there was no way youâd be able to sleep while wearing a face mask over your face.
Kaeya cocks his head to the side, âDoes your bed not feel comfortable?â You pouted and shook your head in response, grabbing the onikabuto plushie that Itto had given to you, and hugging it against your chest with a defeated sigh.
âThatâs a shame. Maybe you should cuddle with one of us instead! Maybe thatâll help you fall asleep much easier!â Itto says, plopping down on your bed.
Xiao rolls his eyes and replies to Itto, âYouâre going to get sick if you cuddle with [Y/N].â
âWe can get you a new bed if your current bed feels uncomfortable,â Diluc suggested. Your eyes widened at Dilucâs suggestion before thinking about it for a moment.
You gnawed on your bottom lip before replying, âMaybe next time! I just want to sleep.â You let out another yawn, blinking at the men sleepily.
âLike Itto said, cuddling with someone can probably help you fall asleep,â Ayato says.
âBut I donât want any of you to get sick because of me.â You frowned at Ayato, throwing your head back against your pillow. âMy sickness is contagious, isnât it?â You ask, glancing over at Baizhu.
âIf you and the people around you are not careful, yes, itâs quite contagious.â Baizhu nods his head.
âYeah, thereâs no way Iâm cuddling with anyone. Iâm not risking it.â You stated, pulling the blanket up to your chest.
âYou know, some of us canât get sick as easily as others,â Childe says slowly, his lips puckered as he rocks back and forth on the balls of his feet. Childe was insinuating something, but you couldnât put your finger on it. Either you were too tired to understand what Childe was implying, or you were really clueless.
âYou know, youâre not wrong about thatâŚâ You muttered, lightly tapping on your chin. âZhongli, get over here and cuddle with me.â You tossed your blanket to the side and moved over to your bed before grabbing the face mask and putting it on.
âI-â Childe gasps at you, staring at you like a fish out of water. âI meant me! Not Zhongli!â Childe grumbles, crossing his arms over his chest with a dramatic pout on his face. Zhongli chuckles quietly at Childeâs antics before sitting down on your bed, laying down beside you. You immediately laid down next to Zhongli, clinging to him in bed. You wrapped your arms around his waist, your head resting on his muscular chest. You closed your eyes and sighed happily, feeling Zhongli wrap his arms around your waist.Â
âOh, silly mortal. Youâll get sick, unlike us archons.â Venti giggles, covering his mouth with his hands.
âI want to cuddle with [Y/N] too.â Gorou pouts as his tail begins to swish side to side with slight irritation.
âDonât we all?â Scaramouche mumbles, scratching his cheeks as he tries to ignore the jealousy that is burning inside of his guts.
âAlright, everyone, letâs leave so [Y/N] can sleep,â Kazuha says, walking out of your bedroom. Before leaving, Kazuha presses a soft kiss on your head. The others soon follow suit, each of them placing a kiss on your head before walking out of your bedroom. You mumbled and buried your face into Zhongliâs chest, your eyelids growing heavy. You feel yourself slowly drift off to sleep to the feeling of Zhongli running his hands through your hair. Archons, you love it whenever people play with your hair; not only does it help you relax, but it helps you fall asleep.
Over the next few days, the men have appointed themselves to be your caretakers until you have recovered from your illness entirely.Â
While the term caretaker was more appropriate, you accidentally called them your malewives right in front of them. Imagine the embarrassment you felt the minute it slipped from your mouth completely. Luckily, they didnât mind it at all and were quite pleased (and shy) with the fact that you called them your malewives. The term husband wouldâve been better, but that word didnât seem to appear in your mind.
You still didnât want to take your medicine, but you had reluctantly made yourself take your medication without anyone having to force you to take it. You were given head pats, praises, kisses on your temples, and kisses on the crown of your head for taking your pills. That was sort of your motivation to take your pills because you love it whenever the men showered you in affection. They also showered you with lots and lots of praises. Shit, could this be the beginning of your praise kink? You know the men are attentive whenever you need something, but the minute youâre sick, if you want something that is out of reach, the item will be in your hands before the end of the day. You once mentioned how youâve been wanting to read a specific book that can only be found from the Yae Publishing House; when you woke up from your nap, you would see the book on your nightstand.Â
âIf you want anything, we can always get it for you,â Zhongli says, tucking your hair behind your ears as Childe was feeding you some rice porridge.
âAnything?â Your eyes lit up, looking over at Zhongli.Â
Childeâs eyes widen slightly at your reaction as he gives you a look before glancing over at Zhongli. Childe slowly puts the spoon back into the bowl of rice porridge and clears his throat to grab your and Zhongliâs attention.
â[Y/N] has that look on their face. I donât know if itâs a good thing or a bad thing.â Childe says, scratching his chin lightly.
âWhat look?â Zhongli raises an eyebrow at Childeâs comment.
âThereâs a shine to their eyes. I canât put my finger on what it is exactly.â Childe muttered, squinting his eyes at you as he stared at you.
âIs there anything you want?â Zhongli asks.
You open your mouth to respond until you realize something, causing you to frown and close your mouth. âWell, I did want something, but I guess I will save that for later. Iâm still sick.â You sighed dramatically, resting your head on Childeâs shoulder.Â
Childe chuckled and patted your head, âItâs okay, [Y/N]. Iâm sure you can request it once youâre feeling well.â
Zhongli turns to you, âIâm curious. What is your request?â Zhongli asks, looking at you curiously.
âI wanted to go to the beach, but since Iâm sick, I donât think itâll happen until I feel one hundred percent better.â You say, feeling Childe poke your cheeks lightly. You turn to him, only to see him holding the spoon up to your lips.Â
âHere comes the wind glider~!â Childe sang. âNyoooom.â You snorted and opened your mouth, letting Childe feed you more rice porridge.
âThe beach, you say.â Zhongli hums, looking over at the others in the room. Oh, right, you werenât alone in the room with just Zhongli and Childe. The others were so quiet that you assumed that it was just you, Childe, and Zhongli.
âIâm okay with spending the day at the beach,â Kazuha says, giving you a soft smile.
âWe can go to the beach once youâre feeling better. We donât want you to go to the beach while youâre still sick.â Albedo comments, looking up from his sketch pad.
âOooh, we can!?â You ask, your eyes shining with excitement.Â
You were so giddy at the fact that youâd be able to go to the beach with the men that you missed out on the menâs reaction to your excitement. They stared at you with heart eyes, their cheeks bright red, hearts pounding against their chest, the overwhelming urge to just tackle you in your bed and smother you with endless kisses and cuddles.
Scaramouche clears his throat loudly, looking away from you with his arms folded over his chest. âOf course we can! Itâd be nice to go to the beach with youâ and the others.â Scaramouche says, glaring down at the floor.
âWhereâs Itto?â Gorou asks, looking around the room to look for the tall geo vision wielding oni.
Before the others can open their mouth to respond, Itto bursts through your bedroom door, startling everyone else in the room. You pressed your hands against your chest, bending over on your bed, face pressing against your mattress. Why did Itto have to burst into your bedroom that way? Your heart pounded against your chest as you slowly sat up.
âIâm back, baby!â Itto exclaims happily, strutting into your bedroom with arms full of stuffed animals in his hands.
âWhy do you have so many stuffed animals?â Ayato asks, his eyes widening when Itto drops all of the plushies onto your bed with a proud grin on his face.
â[Y/N] mentioned that they wanted more plushies, and therefore I shall grant their wishes!â Itto says, giving you a light pat on your head.
âI donât think we have any room to store these plushies for [Y/N],â Albedo says, eyes scanning around your room.
âWe can build them another shelf to store the additional plushies,â Kazuha says, shrugging his shoulders as if it was nothing.
âWhy get plushies when you have us to cuddle with instead?â Kaeya asks, quirking an eyebrow up at you.
âI donât mind cuddling with all of you, but if I were to cuddle with one person, then the rest would want to cuddle with me.â You said, your bottom lip jutting out.
Scaramouche blinks at you, âAnd thatâs a bad thing becauseâŚ.?â Scaramouche trails off.
âI canât cuddle fifteen of you all at once.â You answered.
âIâm sure we can make it work.â Diluc states.
âAs if! All of you can be quite possessive.â You snorted, continuing to let Childe feed you the rice porridge that Thoma had cooked for you.
Thoma snorts lightly, âI thought you like it whenever weâre possessive.â
âI do! But not when Iâm being tugged back and forth between multiple men.â You glared at them playfully.
âWell, [Y/N]âs not wrong about that at all.â Venti giggles softly.
You didnât know what happened next, but the minute you woke up from your sleep, you saw fifteen bodies scattered around your bedroom. Ah, right, you completely forgot that the men that offered to sleep in the same room as you. Just to make sure that nothing goes wrong whenever you sleep. Of course, they had to drag in a couple of extra mattresses into your room to sleep. They wanted to share beds with you, but since your new bed was going to arrive later (yes, they got you a new bed frame and mattress because you told them that you had a hard time finding a comfortable position to sleep in), they had decided to bring extra beds into your room.
You slowly got out of your bed, making sure that you didnât accidentally wake anyone up from their sleep before walking out of your bedroom and down the stairs. Today, you felt way better than you did in the past couple of days. You were pretty sure that your sickness had gone away, but just for safety measures, you put on your face mask while walking down the stairs. To show your gratitude for the men, you have decided to make them all breakfast! They had cared for you while you were sick in bed, and you wanted to pay them back for all theyâve done for you over the last few days.
You set down utensils at every seat along with cloth napkins before heading into the kitchen to start making breakfast for the men. You put on Thomaâs apron before turning on the stove. You pulled out a couple of ingredients to make each of the menâs favorite dishes. It took you a while to cook each food because there were a variety of dishes being served for the fifteen men. What you can recall was most of the menâs favorite food was mostly drinks or snacks rather than the actual food itself. So, cooking breakfast for the men was a bit challenging. You have decided to give the men juice to drink instead of wine, milk tea, and alcohol itself because it was a bit too early to be drinking any of these things. You made boba for Ayato just in case he wanted to drink some boba; there were some Dandelion wine and Osmanthus wine stashed in the wine cabinet.Â
You didnât know how long youâd spent in the kitchen preparing various food for the men until you began hearing footsteps coming down the stairs. You looked over to the dining table, sighing in relief when you saw that everyone had their favorite dishes on the table. All you have to do is just make yourself some breakfast; then you should be good for today! Maybe.
âWhatâs all of this?â Xiao asks, looking at the dining table with wide eyes.
âI made you all breakfast!â You replied happily. âWell, your favorite foods! I made them as a token of my appreciation because all of you have taken care of me while I was ill, and I wanted to show my gratitude.â You said, feeling heat rush to your cheeks.
Childe walks up to you, his hair sticking all over the place from his slumber. Childe grabs your right hand, knelt down, and stares into your eyes.
âMarry me,â Childe states, catching you and the fourteen others off guard.
âWhatââ Your eyes double the size. You look at the others, not knowing what else to say or how else to respond to Childeâs sudden marriage proposal.
âBear my children,â Childe adds, pulling you close to him as he stands back up. Childe pulls you against his chest as he stares deep into your eyes.
âAs if weâd let that happen.â Dainsleif huffs, glaring at Childe.
âChilde, you shouldnât get too close to me. I could get you sick.â You said softly, gently pushing him away from you. Childe tightens his grip around your waist and shakes his head stubbornly.
âI can do a quick check-up on you if youâd like.â Baizhu offers, walking up to you and Childe.
After a quick check-up, Baizhu confirmed that you are indeed healed from your sickness! Which gave the men the opportunity to be extra clingy with you. But you made them all go eat their breakfast while you continued to prepare your breakfast, which wasnât much since you didnât really have much of an appetite. While you were waiting for your breakfast to be cooked, you walked over to the dining table. You took your disposable face mask off before pressing a kiss on each menâs cheeks.
âThank you for taking care of me while I was sick. Words cannot express how much I appreciate each and every one of you; and all of the things youâve done for me.â You said, hugging them around the shoulders, kissing their cheeks.
âWeâll do anything for you, [Y/N],â Gorou says, his face becoming bright red from your affection.
When you reached Childe, before you leaned in to kiss his cheeks, Childe turned his face towards your direction, causing you to press your lips against his. You squeaked and jolted back, staring at Childe with wide eyes.Â
âChilde, you rascal!â You whined, covering your red face with your hands, feeling flustered. You slowly pulled your hands away from your face, giving Childe a shy yet playful glare.
Childe gives you a cheeky grin before gently stroking your cheek, âYou have soft lips.â He says, giving you a wide smile.
âIâm going to kill him,â Fourteen men chorused, giving Childe a tight-lipped smile. You can see the men bend the utensils in their hands, causing them to almost snap in half.
âLetâs not fight while having breakfast!â You laugh nervously, beginning to walk over to where you usually sat, only for Childe to snake his arms around your waist and pull you onto his lap.
âSquare up, Harbinger!â Itto exclaims, suddenly standing up from his spot. âYou and me, one on one! The winner gets to take the cutie on your lap!â He pops his knuckles and his neck. Childe stares at Itto, a smirk appearing on his face after hearing Ittoâs challenge.
âYouâre on, oni!â Childe stands up, his arms still wrapped around your waist.
âItâs not even the afternoon yet.â Zhongli sighs, shaking his head.
âYeah, no kidding. Why are they like this?â You sighed in defeat, looking up at Childe and then over at Itto.Â
Childe and Itto give you a charming smile; Childe kisses the top of your head while tightening his grip around your waist. Yeah, thereâs no way he would lose to Itto. How many people will have to fight Childe to get to you? The world may never know, mainly because you would stop them from fighting. They will always listen to what you say because they know that you donât like it whenever they fight. Whether itâs over you or itâs an argument. Either way, you were grateful for them even though they can be a little bit overbearing.
âUgh, annoying shitheads.â Scaramouche rolls his eyes, shaking his head in disapproval.
âHey! Thatâs my nickname for you!â Childe glares over at Scaramouche.
âWell, itâs now your and Ittoâs nickname.â Scaramouche retorts, causing Childe to scowl over at Scaramouche.Â
âItâs not even the afternoon yet.â You sighed.

Summary: You never realized that carving curry will lead you to learning that you can heal people through food~
Warnings: Cult AU, mentions of blood and injury but itâs not really graphic.
Orange hue filled the sky as you watched in awe at the sunset in front of you. Things have been calm ever since your acolytes found you. You have been provided your own mansion in each nation even though youâd rather stay at a simple little house. Your acolytes take care of all your needs and wants. You have them all wrapped around your finger even though you didnât really do anything besides just stand there and bleed gold and other stuffs that your body does according to them. Though your acolytes daily friendly competition to win your favor, it doesnât distract you from feeling a bit homesick.
A comforting breeze was sent your way as the world around you sensed your sadness. You just miss how your life was back in reality. Though there were multiple downs, you still miss those people you held dear to your heart. You wonder if they are worried for you. Are they searching for you? Do they think youâre dead? These questions are left unanswered as you closed your eyes and sighed. As you continued your trip down in memory lane, you remembered that one dish that you make when down. You suddenly craved some homemade curry. You are actually unsure if curry exist in genshin impact but will that stop you? No. You stood up and sneaked towards the kitchen. No one can stop you from your determination but you still need to be sneaky from your acolytes since you are basically banned from the kitchen to âprevent accidentsâ as Zhongli said. You rolled your eyes as you remembered his voice.
You smiled in and squealed in excitement as you saw no one in the kitchen. Step one of your plan is done. Now onto step two: cooks some good ass curry without letting your acolytes know and finish it ESPECIALLY before Zhongli arrives from his daily rounds. With a goal in you mind and time never ceasing itâs ticking, you went to work and start cooking.
Unbeknownst to you, your acolytes are actually outside the kitchen spying on you. Your little squealed was enough to alert Kazuha, Diluc and Kokomi. The three of them were at different locations and were far away from the kitchen until they heard the faintest squeal. They panicked to see if you were okay but they stopped as they saw how you were smiling as you chopped some onions. The sparkles in you eyes were enough to make the 3 acolytes smile. They were happy that you were having fun cooking. Kokomi was still ready to summon her healing jellyfish just in case any accidents happen though.
An hour passed by and you were happy to see your curry is finished and ready to serve. You were jumping like a kid as the familiar smell hit your nose. There were no time wasted as you instantly gave yourself a serving and ate to your hearts content. It just hits home. Your 3 acolytes on the other hand were mesmerized by the smell of the food you made. They wanted to taste it so bad even though some tried to hide it from their face. But you donât know they were spying on you and they canât soil their image to the creator. So they just stood there and watched you.
There was a good few minutes of silence until the front door of the mansion was slammed open and frantic voices was heard in the entrance. You and the 3 acolytes rushed to the sound as it sounds like Thoma and Zhongli. Your guess was correct as the scene in front of you shocked you. Zhongli was gravely injured while Thoma assisted him to the sofa.
âZhongli what happened!â Kokomi rushed to heal and bandage the wounds that were bleeding. Zhongli grunted as Kokomi bandages his arm first.
âIâmâŚafraid that i donât know what happened.â Zhongli said in defeat, hiding from your gaze. He felt as if he failed his task as your protector. It was his task to make sure nothing surrounding your mansion can injure anyone and yet he wasnât able to detect the danger that caused him to be in this state. The living room was slowly being filled with acolytes as they checked to see what was happening. This only made Zhongli feel more embarrassed as he failed his job. Though he is god and a man of class, he genuinely wanted to kneel in front of you and beg for forgiveness for failing his job. And this feeling was amplified when he saw you turn around and leave the room.
âThat was it. He was done. He failed his job and now he was left by his god.â Zhongli hung his head low as Kokomi struggles to fix his wounds.
A few minutes passed and Zhongli felt a hand connect with his shoulder. Afraid to face whoever it may be, he kept his head low. But the hand only pat his head in comfort.
âZhongli come on, eat while itâs still hot.â You said with a comforting smile. âYou had a rough day.â You proceed to gather food in the spoon in your hand and inch it closer to his mouth.
Zhongli could only widen his eyes in shock.
âHe wasnât being abandonedâ is what filled his mind.
âAh- your grace! Please donât trouble yourself. I can eat on my own. You waste your energy in trivial matters like these.â Zhongli exclaimed.
âOh ok with what hand are you gonna feed yourself Zhongli?â You replied while putting your hand on your hips. Zhongli couldnât come up a reply as he realized that both of his hands are actually broken. You rolled your eyes and fed him even though he kept saying that you shouldnât feed him. Zhongli gave up somewhere around the third bite when he realized that you are not going to stop until he eats everything. His body relaxed as he focused on the flavors that is in his mouth. It tasted so good that he didnât notice he was smiling at every bite.
You giggled at his face. âDo you like it? I made it earlier. Iâm relieved that you are enjoying the food i made!â Zhongli smiled as the acolytes surrounding him gave him a death stare. They all also want to be handfed by the creator and taste the creatorâs food. Zhongli smiled as if mocking the jealous gazes and nodded in your direction. âIt tastes delicious your grace.â
Amidst from the silent chaos, Kokomi was stunned at what she was seeing. âOh? Your wounds Zhongli! They healed in an instant!â
Both of you and Zhongli faced Kokomi and stared at the arm that she was trying to heal. The wounds disappeared as if there was nothing there. Zhongli moved his arm and was shocked that it was also healed as if it was never broken to begin with. With shocked eyes, Zhongli faced you. âYour grace, thank you for healing me.â Zhongli kneeled in front of you. âThank you for giving me another chance.â
You, in turn, jumped in surprise. âUh- Zhongli i donât think thatâs me. I donât have any powers you know-â you uttered embarrassingly but you were cut off by Kazuha. âNo your grace. It was all your doing! You always feed us when we are injured! In fact, you always feed us sweet madames when we are injured.â
You stared at Kazuha as the information processed in your brain. âSo thatâs how they see itâ
âOhâŚâ was all you could say as you remembered the countless eggs and sweet madames you have fed to each and every single one of your characters. While you were in this state the jealous eyes still was targeting Zhongli and Zhongli wasnât helping the situation as he has this smug smile in his face.
Letâs just say the next few days you had to keep making curry for everyone who went back to your mansion injured in many ways you didnât realize was possible
note: I know Scaramouche kinda went rogue, but for the sake of the plot here, heâs still a part of the Fatui
DILUC
âYou want to pretend to be in a relationship?â you nearly choke on your drink.
You watch as Diluc nods without hesitation from across the bar. He was earnest- in no way was this a prank. Honestly, you werenât even sure if Diluc was even capable of pulling a prank.
Byeol~ I hope you're having a lovely time wherever you are!! You can do this when you're not busy, but I wanted to make a drabble request with the "there's only one bed" prompt with Ayato and Childe <33 I'm stuck between Diluc and Scaramouche (since your characterization for them is to die for) so you can choose whoever you like more for the last. Thank you so much and have a good time!

⌠ayato. childe. diluc. scaramouche. x gn!reader | part two.
⌠tags: sharing a bed (completely SFW) + various tropes.
ayato *. â lord and employee relationship
your eyes bounce between the extravagant king-sized bed and sofa. immediately, you make a beeline for the latter and promptly sit down on it.Â
as you fluff the cushions on the sofa, AYATO's shadow casts over where you are. aside from his clean, familiar scent that was enough to scramble your brain whenever it enveloped you, he was the only other person in the room.Â
the room he insisted you stay in â reasoning that it was reckless for you to sleep with the other male housekeepers, and that no one would wait on him.Â
wasn't it the same though, staying in the same room as him? you wanted to question, but refrained, biting your tongue instead. he'd most likely find another way to have the last word. he always did.Â
you look up at him, folding your hands in your lap and offering him a polite bow. "i bid you goodnight, milord. please do not hesitate to wake me if you require anything."Â
ayato hums, tilting his head in your direction playfully, before elegantly taking a seat next to you. he crosses his legs, blatantly making himself comfortable.Â
you blink dumbly. what was he up to now? squirming slightly under his gaze, you cautiously approach, "my lord?"Â
"go ahead. sleep," he taunts airily. his voice drops an octave lower when he follows his challenge with, "i'll move you to the bed once you do."Â
your stomach knots furiously, and it only worsens when he leans in abruptly. the commissioner seemed to have no concept of personal space, as he always lingered a little too close â never at a distance that could allow you to form coherent thoughts.Â
the only problem was, you didn't mind this as much as you should have.Â
"is that what you were hoping for?" he asks, tone changing from teasing to innocent so startlingly it almost gave you whiplash.
but after working alongside him for several years, you knew that ayato was never innocent â no matter how much he tried to hide it behind an innocuous facade composed of eloquence, grace, and close-lipped smiles.Â
"i wouldn't dare!" you refute a tad too late. and with the cheery grin on his face, he knows you had considered it. sputtering out, "i could not possibly allow you to sleep here!"Â
"i never mentioned that i would." he stands up, finally giving you a chance to breathe again, and makes a show of clambering into bed. laying on his side, his eyes shone with a gleam you were all-too-familiar with. "i'll stay right here. beside you."Â
the long whoosh of air that gets knocked out of you a second time leaves you speechless, and all you could do was stare at him, open-mouthed, from where you sat.Â
when you don't move, ayato sighs. "would you rather i turn this into an order?" he says it good-naturedly, though you knew firsthand that he'd make do with this threat. "i will not lay a hand on you. quite frankly, i cannot be bothered with the paperwork if you do report me for harassment."Â
and even though ayato was never innocent, he's never placed you in harm's way. so, you slowly make your way to the bed with your back against the wall, arms slightly raised in apprehension.
still, you wonder if you could get away with strangling him in his sleep. you're pretty sure you'd be doing everyone a favor. perhaps a generous reward awaits you from guuji yae.Â
ayato only tracks your figure with a lazy, amused smile. like a fox waiting for its prey.Â
eventually, you find yourself under the covers. exhausted from today's activities and not wanting to deal with the man next to you, you fall asleep rather quickly after a murmured goodnight.
propping his head in his fist, he gingerly pulls the blanket closer below your chin. his hand lingers there for a second, thinking about how easily you'd fallen into his whims.Â
his hand trails down to your jawline, tracing it as you slept. his heart is barely beating when a content sigh leaves your lips, feeling as if he could stay in this moment forever.Â
in this moment, where you felt within his reach. and although you always were, given your occupation, tonight felt like he was hanging by a thin thread â suspended in time.
a place where status did not matter. a place where he did not have to mind prying eyes, and meddlesome mouths. a place where, even while you were asleep, his touch could cause you such contentment.Â
and that was enough for him.
for now, at least.
childe  *. â childhood friends to lovers
"leave that for tomorrow,"Â CHILDEÂ complains, calling out to you from the other side of the room.
"i know, i know," you mutter to yourself, rubbing your eyes tiredly as you finally switch the lights close. "'m coming."Â
it's almost pitch-black, and the cool weight of evening and fatigue fall on your shoulders. only silhouettes dance within the shadows as you maneuver in the dark to locate your bed.Â
your knees hit the edge of its frame, and you pat the surface blindly. childe lets out a small grunt, "that was my stomach," he all but wheezes.Â
"sorry," you snickered, not sounding a bit apologetic.
childe coming over to sleep was nothing new. the two of you were inseparable when you were younger, and you shared many other things besides a bed growing up.Â
that is until he disappeared from your life for quite a while, and this little sleepover would mark the first time in a long time again.
though not much has truly changed.Â
he's still insisted that you take the side that's right next to the wall, with him closest to the door. he explained that he'd be able to protect you much more quickly if ever someone intruded.
and like before, you're always the last to come to bed, so you always find yourself crawling over him to get to your spot.Â
but the passage of time does not keep everything the same. it's inevitable â something that goes by unnoticed when you don't pay attention. not until the shifts are right in front of you.
because now, you've forgotten that childe's taller. much broader. and before you realize it, you clumsily fall over half of his body. he lets out a second grunt that night, and with a strength you don't recall he possessed before, he keeps you there by draping an arm over your hip.Â
you strain your head up to look at him, the tip of your nose brushing his neck. this too, seemed like a new development. one you weren't overly opposed to. hesitantly, you whisper, "childe ... ?"
"stay there," he mumbles, releasing you momentarily to fix your positions and the blanket over both of you. you bury your face in his neck as he holds you in an attempt to become snug.Â
"good?" he asks quietly. his fingers thread in your hair, featherlight touches as they dance atop your scalp.
you hum an affirmative reply, clinging to his shirt just a little more.
"good." there's a fond lilt in his voice, and you knew that he'd probably give you shit about this tomorrow morning, but you couldn't help it.Â
despite the changes, despite all the years that passed, he still felt warm and familiar. solid and safe.Â
"i didn't know you missed me this much," he teases. apparently, he couldn't wait until tomorrow.Â
"i did," you admit, and childe is partly taken aback, not expecting you to humor him with blunt honesty. "more than you know."Â
the arm around you tightens, pulling you even closer to his side. feigning his laid-back demeanor, he easily replies with, "oh, i know."Â
you huff, managing a retort despite your weariness. "you're so annoying."
he laughs, and you feel his entire upper body shake. his hand goes to your upper arm, rubbing it up and down mindlessly. "but you love me."Â
"i do," you whisper. the confession is so delicate â so raw â that his hand stills in their movements while sleep drags you deeper into its hold. "more than you know."Â
vaguely, you feel him angle his head to look down on you. something damp presses against your forehead so lightly, that you almost believe that you were dreaming already.Â
but childe's lips murmur against your forehead.
"i love you more." he breathes.
diluc *. â fake dating
DILUCÂ pinches the bridge of his nose in aggravation. he didn't account for how kaeya and the others would actually go this far.Â
it started with a straightforward proposition. a simple scheme to get elzer and kaeya off his back, but he didn't foresee this far ahead into the future, nor considered this possibility.Â
a future where you're both forced to share a room since you were parading around as "lovers" in mondstadt.
"i'm really sorry," you began, and diluc hates the way you sound so remorseful. this wasn't even your fault, as it was him who'd stupidly roped you into this entire predicament. "i could ask the front desk if they have another spare room, but they might find out that we separated ways."Â
and he hates that it's still him, his reputation, his well-being, that you were considering to the very end. "i don't care. i would much rather have you sleep comfortably instead of keeping up with this act. i can sleep on the floor or move rooms â"Â
"it's fine!" you blurt out. diluc opens his mouth to protest again, but you hurriedly propose, "we can share! it's just two people sleeping."Â
with the look on your face, diluc knew you weren't entirely convinced as well. but then you continue with forced indifference lacing your voice, "plus ... this is all just fake, right?"Â
an arrow pierces through his chest.Â
"yes," he lies, mouth going dry. the arrow's steel tip digs down a little deeper.Â
you nod, gifting him with a smile that's meant to reassure him, but diluc only feels dishonorable. after a while of awkwardly shuffling around one another, you feel the bed dip beside you as he finally lies down.Â
"should i head down and request another blanket?" diluc offers. truly, why would whoever designed this room place an enormously large bed with a single piece of cloth that was half its size?Â
you swallow nervously, avoiding his eye. "we could also ... share. if you don't mind."Â
he gives you the tiniest little nod, and before he can spark another argument about moving rooms once more, you scoot closer to his side until you're flush against him.Â
draping the blanket over both of you, he wonders if you could hear the hammering of his heart in this dead of night. it would be impossible for you not to.Â
"please sleep well." your words come out muffled from his chest, and your breathing slowly evens out.
he keeps his arm above your shoulder, afraid to wrongly touch you anywhere else. Â
he's aware that you've both gone too far to go back, and that you're both too terrified to move forward. and with the way he pulls you closer, presses you more tightly against him, even he can't deny that this wasn't just for warmth anymore.Â
because with every minute that goes by, diluc knows he can't ever let you go. not when you feel like home in his arms.Â
so he closes his eyes and decides that when the sun rises, he needs to make this all real, somehow.Â
but that was a promise for tomorrow when you both start anew.Â
scaramouche *. â enemies to lovers
"listen, can we please just get this over with?" you plead wearily.Â
SCARAMOUCHEÂ stood by the edge of the singular bed that you were currently arguing over. exhaustion permeated the air, as today's mission was longer than most â courtesy of your assigned partner, who never failed to give you a migraine â and you definitely did not want to sleep on cold, hard ground tonight.Â
scaramouche closes his eyes with an irritated click of his tongue, looking as equally exhausted as you did. still, he manages to sneer and say, "and as i said, i'll be taking the bed."Â
you heave a sigh, massaging your temples. "no, you'll take the floor."Â
"i won't. do you forget your place? i carry a higher rank than you do."Â
"fine," you spit out bitterly. "i'll go and ask childe if i can room with him. maybe he won't be an immature ass and actually knows how to fucking share."Â
that's when his head snaps back to look at you again. bingo. his nostrils flare while he glowers at you â an expression you were practically immune to by now. "i can fucking share."
"see?" you scoff. archons, he was so predictable. "must you always win?"Â
unbeknownst to you, scaramouche lets that comment slide, distracting himself by rearranging the extra pillows into a line down the middle of the bed, splitting it in half.Â
because yes, when it comes to you, he'll always win. he wants â needs â to.
he gets in first, and you follow right after without any semblance of fear. it's something that's bothered him up to this very day and is responsible for the tight feeling in his chest whenever in your orbit that he's yet to name or acknowledge at all.
"stay on your fucking side or i will burn this entire place down," scaramouche warns threateningly.
you don't miss a beat when you answer just as rudely, "then we wouldn't have anywhere else to sleep, you idiot."
both of you lay there in stifling silence for a while, both staring up at the ceiling. neither of you questioned the tsaritsa's orders whenever you were forced to work together â but sleeping was a dangerous and vulnerable position to be caught in even if you were technically on the same side.
and it seemed like both of you was aware of that.Â
"thank you," you express quietly, clearing your throat. your words hang heavily above your head, but you carry on. "i wasn't entirely keen on sharing a room with childe. or anyone else, if i'm being truly honest."Â
the air shifts ever so slightly, and scaramouche stays silent for three more seconds before he can prevent himself from asking, "because?"
he feels you move to peek at him from the fortress of pillows, and he can nearly imagine the astonishment on your face. as much as he wants to witness it, he keeps his eyes stubbornly trained on the ceiling.Â
"oh. well, i'm simply not as comfortable with the others unlike when i'm with you," you reveal easily, lying back down.
a feeling of pride surges in his chest.
"and i'm sorry â" you begin before he cuts you off.Â
"it's ... fine," he responds curtly. the phrase felt so foreign on his tongue. dealing with forgiveness was never his specialty. normally, whoever slighted him never lived to see another day to apologize.Â
"but are you always this talkative even before you sleep?" he gripes without any real malice to it.Â
you let out a small, drowsy laugh, and he finds himself enamored with the sound, instead of being vexed. he doesn't fight the urge anymore and turns his head to look at you.Â
he's grateful he did.Â
it was the first time he'd seen you laugh, genuinely, without any pretense, and it filled him with another strange, unfamiliar, burst of emotion.Â
"only with you," you mumble softly, a small smile playing on your lips. "goodnight, idiot."Â
he merely scoffs at your name-calling, not wanting to presume how affectionate it almost sounded. soon, he allows himself to rest, sleeping soundly for the first time in years.Â
and neither of you says anything when you both wake up entangled in each other's arms.Â
the line of pillows gone, boundaries crossed, and sides long forgotten.Â
âŚÂ byeolâs notes: thank you to the lovely nonnie who requested this! i decided to do them all, my way of saying thanks for being so sweet and i loved the idea! and to my other readers, i'll be back to posting regularly â at least, once a week â if life is kind. âĄ
i've been catching up on kdramas and manhwas, so you might've noticed that ayato's part is inspired by that one scene in the business proposal and the duke's cursed charm.
⌠reblogs and feedback are greatly appreciated! feel free to send any requests in. thank you sm and ily <3
Hello sjhsja so I just had a little brainrot after reading Ur kamisato siblings part 2 ehe
So as revenge (kinda) to all the ppl who made fun of Ayaka and ayato what if reader just walked around inazuma and like- showed a lot of PDA with them (?)
Like- they'd purposefully walk up to the stall of whoever said they were abandoned while holding hands or smth idk I just wanted to share this idea ehehhehee >:D
OMG YES
Tho it might take a while since God!Reader wants to be silent about their presence in inazuma. So while in those silent stages i imagine that the hate and judgement would get so big that even the shogun will comment about the kamisatos being a disgrace. But ayato and ayaka wont be bothered because they know that you didnât abandon them. In fact, you enjoy their company especially when you all play thomaâs hotpot game.
Imagine ayato and ayaka going by their normal routine of being slandered (bonus points if the shogun is also there) and then suddenly you swoop in and hold their hands with a smile, dragging them off to the komore teahouse to have some fun. (And also shooting those people and the shogun a glare because how dare they disrespect your two favorite people!)
The look on everyoneâs face will be a mix of shock and horror as they realized that they disrespected your chosen vessels, your favorite ones at that. The shogun will probably kneel while you pay no mind to her cries and focus on buying ayato a boba tea combination that you think he will like. The first person to say the siblings were a disgrace will be also kneeling to the ground begging forgiveness as they got shunned for even uttering those words towards your favorite acolytes.
The siblings will only feel more love as you show them affection in public. They wonât care if anyone sees it. They will shamelessly enjoy the affection you give them. Reputation be damned. And you wonât also care.
A/n: yall ayaya banner is extended! To celebrate, heres part two cuz that news gave me so much serotonin and inspiration xD
Summary: Ayaka and Ayato are worried that they are deemed useless because of your lack of presence. Meanwhile you were trying hard to gather their materials.
Warning: SAGAU, feelings of abandonment. (I think thats all)
When the golden star that she was desperately praying for finally landed into the palm of her hands, her knees fell to the floor as an overwhelming feeling of warmth and happiness filled her. Both of the Kamisato siblings looked at each other and embraced as they tried to comfort each other through their sobs. At that moment they felt as if all the hardships that they went through were lifted from their shoulders. All the burden, stress, and sadness suddenly dissipated as they felt their creator celebrate with them. Everything was finally alright especially with the divine creatorâs guidance.
As the days went by, nothing really happened in the lives of Ayato and Ayaka. They have heard the stories of other vision holders how when they first gotten their golden star they had this urge to move. Their bodies move on their own as they travel through teyvat, not knowing where they were being led too. They all knew it was the divine creatorâs doing. The golden star is the symbol of being chosen as a vessel for their grace. They also heard the story of somehow feeling more stronger as the divine creator used them as a vessel. Some even were gifted weapons that were beyond a mortals ability to craft. This made both of the Kamisatos worried. They werenât able to feel all those feelings that every vessel has felt. Their bodies never had the urge to just run around. The didnât feel any stronger. They werenât gifted a weapon like some of the lucky vision holders did. The creator had never used them as a vessel like the others.
Word got out that the Kamisato siblings were blessed by the almighty creator but yet to be used as a vessel. This garnered hostility and harsh judgement to the siblings. To the eyes of the people, they were seen as failures.
âThe creator has probably deemed them useless. What an embarrassment.â Are the words the people spat at them. The siblings could only hang their heads low as they walked the streets, trying to do what they always did before they were blessed by their God. They felt nothing. Just emptiness with the idea of being deemed useless by their beloved God.
You, on the other hand, were having a problem. Its been days since you were able to get both of the siblings. You were excited to try them out but then you were reminded that you havenât farmed for any of their materials. You tried to farm for the materials like how you farmed your primogems. But when you start to load the domain that both siblings needed, a text would pop up saying the characters you were using are not available. You kept groaning as you tried and tried again. Your Xiao was unavailable because he was tasked to find you. Zhongli was unavailable because he was busy searching for you also. Even your Childe and Diluc are busy because they were also searching for you. The game wouldnât let you take these characters in a domain because they were all searching for you!
You sighed as you tried your best to enter a domain with amber but still no avail. Amber was busy scouting the woods of Mondstadt in search of you. You were at your wits end. You were honestly irritated that you couldnât even play genshin to pass the time. It was as if the game wants you to show yourself to your acolytes. Yeah⌠no thanks.
You stood up from the bed you were laying on and stretched. You were lucky to find a new abandoned house that had a bed and some other furniture. You placed your phone into your pocket and started walking towards the domain youâve been desperately wanting to enter. If your phone wonât let you then youâll do it yourself.
It took a while before you can reach the domain where Ayato and Ayakaâs talent books were located. Teyvat sensed you determination and helped you walk over to the tiny island. Cryo slimes also walked near you to maintain the ice bridge that Teyvat has provided for you. The moon in the night sky shined as if to provide you some light for you to see where you were walking. The pyro slime in your hands tried to burn brightly without harming you so it can also help you navigate your way through the ice bridge. You smiled as you looked at the efforts of these slimes. It was adorable.
When you reached the domain you didnât hesitate to open the door. But as you get near the door, vines suddenly blocked your path to open the door. Teyvat doesnât want you to get injured inside. You groaned as you were getting irritated again. You just want to finally build your 2 new character but Teyvat wasnât letting you. The ground rumbled as it responded to your emotions. Teyvat removed the vines immediately and sent a gentle breeze as if to say sorry. Teyvat didnât want to anger the creator. The slimes also snuggled in your legs as if to say sorry.
âYou guysâŚâ you sighed as you pat the slimes. âits okay. Iâm just not in a great mood.â
You stood up after petting the slimes and went in the domain with no hesitation. You were honestly nervous. You donât have any combat skills in your mind. The best thing you can only do is throw the slimes to the enemies that you are about to fight. You were slightly regretting your decision to fight a domain. As you reached the key in the middle, you inhaled sharply and touched it. The key disappeared and countless of nobushi and treasure hoarders appeared around you. You were ready to be beaten up that was until you saw all of them bow down to you.
âYour grace! What is it that we can do for you.â You stood there dumbfounded as you remembered âoh yeah⌠Iâm a God here.â You snapped out of your thoughts and signaled them to rise up to which the enemies followed with no hesitation. âUhh Iâm in a quest to gather some materials⌠do you think you can help me in getting these?â You asked as you showed them a list. The men looked through your list and wasted no time to gather them. You were shocked as they managed to bring everything that you needed with no trouble. You were seated at a chair made of vines provided by Teyvat as you watched as the nobushi and treasure hoarders come back with countless of materials you needed. Heck they even managed to make the mechanical array to provide you the mats needed for Ayaka. Everyone will literally give you anything you wanted just because you were their creator. After an hour or so, you were handed a sack filled with the items you needed. The slimes managed to carry it. They wouldnât want their creator to strain their muscles. You thanked the nobushi and treasure hoarders that worked hard for you, to which they just said that it was their honor to provide for you. With that, you went your way towards your place in Narukami island.
After taking a bath (Teyvat providing you some beautiful clothes that you donât know where they are from), you realized that the items that you got for the siblings werenât equipping. The game wonât let you do what you wanted to do again.
âYou canât equip this item because it is currently not in your inventoryâ the words popped in your phone. You were confused because it is in your inventory. Is it because you obtained it physically? You didnât know. You just frowned and took the heavy sack in your hands and started walking. Just like before, if the game wonât let you then youâll do it on your own.
Ayato was having some tea as he relished the cool breeze of the night. The day was mentally exhausting for him and his sister. As the yashiro commisioner, he was trained to keep a straight face. But that doesnât mean that the words thrown at him didnât hurt in the slightest. It hurts, largely at that. He closed his eyes as he tried to feel his Godâs presence. Maybe tonight will be the night. But as he tries hard to search for any warmth, there was none. Was he truly abandoned by his God? These thoughts swirled his mind that he didnât even realize that the guards outside the gate suddenly bowed. He was only brought out of his thoughts when a hand gently placed itself in his shoulder. Shocked at the sudden touch, he turned to look at whoever touched him only to be left speechless as he couldnât believe who was in front of him.
âYour Grace?!â Ayato exclaimed as he immediately bowed down. You smiled as you gently nudged him to stand up. âYou didnât abandon me?â Ayato said with a voice that broke your heart. You never imagined to hear such voice leave Ayato. âWho said i abandoned you?â You asked as you hauled the heavy sack that you were struggling to take to bring to their estate. When you finally were able to put the sack on the table you turned to Ayato and handed him the materials that he needed to become more powerful. Ayato accepted these items with a confused look. But when the items touched his fingertips he was immediately filled with the same warmth and the items turned into golden dust that surrounded him. âWas this what the other felt?â
You smiled as you looked at Ayato. Finally happy that you were able to build him, even though you literally had to go to him. Once you noticed Ayatoâs tears rolling down, you were quick to wipe them. You held his face and smiled as he was still overwhelmed with the sudden emotions he was experiencing. Once he had collected himself, he sat up straight and coughed a bit. âThank you for believing in me, your grace. I wonât let you down.â His face tinted with a soft pink hue. You smiled and stood up, sack in your hand. Ayato feared that you were going to leave. Not so soon. He hasnât worshipped you yet. He hasnât provided you anything yet.
âYour grace!â Ayato exclaimed. You turned around and faced him. âWould you like to stay here? It would be an honor to be able to serve and provide you everything that you are deserving of.â He bowed and closed his eyes. He didnât want to see his Godâs face when they reject his offer. You hummed as you think and smiled. âSure.â Ayatoâs head looked up and saw your smiling figure. It filled his heart with warmth to see you smile like that.
âAs long as you donât tell anyone outside the yashiro comission of me being here, ill stay as long as Iâm welcomed.â Ayato stood up at those words, a smile plastered on his face. âI can sure you, your grace. You will always be welcomed here.â Ayato then reached out for your hand and littered it with kisses. You blushed hard as you try to hide your face away. This is going to be interesting.
âOh by the way.â You said, making Ayato look at you. âI would like to see Ayaka.â You held the sack up. âI would like to give her these.â To which Ayato nodded.
As the guards patrolled around the estate, they heard the cry of the shirasagi himegimi alongside the giggle of their divine creator. They were at ease to know that finally, their masters werenât abandoned by their divine creator.
Hii, does the kamisato siblings at your service has a part 2?
Hello! Yes i do plan to give it a part 2 and ive already written the story plan for it. Im just a bit busy rn because of finals but i do plan on finishing it after my finals or when i finish atleast half of my workđ
IM SO SORRY I ACCIDENTALLY POSTED THIS SO I LOST THE ASK-
Anyway I agree, this could absolutely happen, given how desperate everyone is for a crumb of attention from the reader-
I went with the three you suggested because I, too, love them <3 Since this was three characters, it might not focus on each of them as much as I'd like to, but I quite enjoyed writing this! God!Darling harem ftw <3
"Your Grace, we understand this might be a little sudden, but after many discussions, we have come to a possible solution." Zhongli's spoke clearly and smoothly as he approached you about the topic of political relations once more.
Who would have thought that being considered a higher being would come with so many problems?
Ever since your mysterious arrival in Teyvat, people and gods alike were fighting for your attention left and right. Your first destination had been Mondstadt, from where you had been promptly dragged into Liyue, and from there, to Inazuma.
Eventually, you had picked a neutral land for your residence to combat the ever growing tensions that arose from spending time in one nation or another. Of course, you still had to divide your time to make visits of equal length to each nation.
Frankly, it was exhausting.
You glanced around the room - the archons and their closest confidants had arranged a meeting to discuss what exactly might help solve those tensions, as you were growing tired of the constant childish bickering over who held your favor. You had pre-emptively avoided the meeting itself, telling them to call upon you once they had come to possible agreements. You were well aware that nothing could be solved when you were present during the discussion, most likely leading to competitive one-upping and attempts to catch your attention instead.
You cleared your throat and nodded.
"And what are your ideas, then?" you asked, sliding your gaze over each individual, trying your best not to linger on anyone in specific lest it lead to another falling out.
Ei's lips formed a weary smile.
"Your Grace, we thought it best, if for the sake of ensuring fairness, you..." she paused for a moment, averting her gaze to search her mind for the right words.
"...picked someone out from each nation to serve as your companion."
Your mind blanked.
"Companion?" you repeated, raising your brow as you stepped forward.
"I have many friends and assistants from each nation," you stated, confused by the direction this was heading.
"Of course, your Grace," Ningguang spoke up, curtsying as you turned your gaze to face her.
"Our direction was towards something more...stable," Zhongli added, clearing his throat as he avoided meeting your eyes, seemingly embarrassed.
You took in a deep breath, steadying yourself for whatever strange idea they were about to spring upon your unexpecting self.
"Such as?"
"Consorts!" Venti exclaimed, seemingly unable to take the ever growing tension in the room.
The room fell silent.
"Consorts." You repeated after a heavy pause, your brows furrowing.
"Yes - chosen by you yourself, of course, your Grace," Zhongli was quick to respond, either trying to ease the situation or show his devotion.
"Right..." you took in another deep breath, holding it for a moment, before releasing it.
"And this would...cease the constant conflicts between your nations?" you asked, crossing your arms.
"Of course, we swear, your Grace!" Venti grinned at you, a beaming smile stretching across his face.
You contemplated for a moment, tapping the pads of your fingers against your arm.
You supposed if it helped lessen your constant stress over potential war, it was worth a shot.
"Alright."
You could sense the growing excitement in the room.
"And I can pick anyone from any nation?"
"Of course, provided they originate from there," Ei smiled reassuringly, ignoring the suggestive look Yae Miko gave her.
"Fine." You agreed.
"Give me some time to pick them out. And to make sure they are willing." You were refusing to tie anyone to you against their will, after all.
"No matter who I might want it to be, if they don't agree, there shall be no pressuring from any of you to persuade them otherwise." It was a direct order. You were well aware of their capabilities, after all.
Coming up with some sort of solutions - making a choice of who to tie yourself to was difficult to say the least. There were many you considered attractive, of course. But someone you could reasonably see yourself marrying? That was an entirely different topic, after all.
Eventually, you had managed to narrow down a possible list - narrowed it down even more and finally decided on the three you could reasonably see yourself enjoying the company of. And three that would be politically beneficial too, you suppsoed.
Arriving at Dawn Winery, you felt awkward. How were you supposed to ask such a thing of someone without it being awkward? You wiped your sweaty palms on your clothes and gave the mansion a brief look-over, before approaching the door.
You could do this.
"Your Grace, to what do I owe the pleasure?" the voice of the young Ragnvindr called out to you as soon as you were escorted inside by the maids.
You managed an awkward smile.
"Diluc. Good to see you."
He bowed gracefully, before straightening himself and giving you his undivided attention. It was clear he had not expected you, given his slightly nervous glance at the maids upon your entrance, but he rushed to please you nonetheless.
"It's always a pleasure and an honor to see you too, your Grace," he replied, giving you a tight-lipped smile.
"Could we...talk, in private?" you asked, lowering your gaze as the thoughts of the upcoming conversation swirled in your mind, suffocating you with anxiety.
"Of course, your Grace. Follow me, please," he bowed his head before leading you towards his office.
"Tea? Coffee?" Diluc asked as you sat on the plush armchair before him.
"Oh...no thanks. I'm actually here for..." you trailed off, taking in the sight of the handsome young man. Of course, looks had not been the only part of him you'd been drawn to, but admiring them was certainly not a crime.
Diluc's brows furrowed as he took in your expression, concern growing within his chest as he crouched before you.
"Your Grace?"
"Oh!" you shook your head briefly, managing to reign yourself in.
"I...how would you feel about...becoming my consort, Diluc?"
The words finally escaped your lips, and for a moment, a tense silence fell over the two of you.
Diluc stared at you with wide, crimson eyes full of shock, his hands shaking as he gazed up at you.
"Your...Grace?" he managed to stammer, gulping audibly as he attempted to assess the situation, clearly flustered.
"I...was tasked with picking a consort from each nation," you admitted, running a clammy hand through your hair awkwardly.
"And if you would be willing - I would love for you to be that. That is, if you're okay with it, and wouldn't mind being...one of three-" you began to ramble, feeling your cheeks heat up as you avoided looking at the red-haired man.
He stopped you by gently touching your hand with his, having removed his gloves.
His hand was warm.
"I would be honored, your Grace," he spoke, smiling up at you with a joy you had not often seen on the stoic man's face.
"Really?"
He nodded eagerly.
"I...I appreciate it, DIluc," you whispered, gently cupping his face to bring it closer, placing a gentle feather-light kiss upon his cheek. He leaned into the brief contact, becoming soft and pliant in your hands.
Soon enough, he bore a silver band adorned with Agnius Agate upon his left hand.
The next decision you made lead you to Inazuma.
Ayaka Kamisato was a highly intelligent, elegant and kind woman. You had instantly taken a liking to her when she was introduced in the story, and every interaction with her in Teyvat had left you feeling delighted.
This time, you were a little more prepared.
"Is Ayaka around?" you asked Thoma, who had paused his duties to welcome you inside the teahouse happily, the infections smile never once leaving his face.
"She is. Would you like me to get her, your Grace?" he asked, bowing slightly.
You shook your head.
"Could you perhaps...just let her know I'd like to talk to her in private?" you asked, smiling bashfully.
Thoma's brows raised and a faint hint of a smirk graced his features.
"Of course, your Grace."
"Thank you. I'll wait for her in the garden."
You waited nervously for the young noblewoman to join you, pacing around the pristine garden. The weather was lovely, not a cloud in sight as Teyvat attempted to set the scene on your behalf.
"Your Grace?" you heard the soft voice of Ayaka address you. You turned to face her, a soft sigh slipping past your lips.
She approached slowly, her dress swaying with each graceful step she took.
"Ayaka," you breathed out, feeling the familiar warmth seep across your face.
She smiled gently.
"Is there anything I can assist you with?" she asked, curtsying briefly, upholding her polite and composed demeanor. Something you felt you lacked at that very moment.
"Yes, actually."
Her eyebrows raised as she curiously tilted her head.
"I have something to ask you."
You briefly explained your situation, Ayaka listening attentively as her clear eyes stared into yours, not saying anything until you were done.
"What I mean to ask is...if you'd like to become my consort," you bit your lip, watching her face for any reaction.
Her expression shifted from curiosity, to surprise, to childlike glee.
"Of course, your Grace," she replied, the softness in her voice sharpening with excitement. She hesitantly stepped closer, allowing her guarded façade of elegant distance to all but fade away, smiling earnestly as she gently intertwined her fingers with yours. Her touch was light - a gentle caress of a barely-there breeze, as her coolness melted within your hands.
You leaned closer, barely unable to contain your own grin as you pressed your lips to her forehead, the coldness of her skin seeping into your lips to send a slight tingle through them.
Your third decision was one you had debated over the longest. When you thought of Liyue, one name flooded your thoughts as you considered your options - but it felt risky. Would it truly uphold the principle of peace and equality between the nations?
Then again, you were told to choose who you wanted.
And your heart yearned for him.
He'd been nothing but kind and nurturing throughout your stay in Teyvat, filling you in on anything you asked him to - not to mention the velvety sensation of his deep voice wrapping itself around you.
"Zhongli?" you asked, glancing up from your desk as the archon stood by your side, ready to assist you should you need anything.
"Yes, your Grace?" he hummed, leaning closer, ready to serve.
The moment felt right - your estate was peaceful and the sun setting outside your window cast an almost romantic warm hue across your room.
You set down your book and rose to your feet.
"I have yet to choose a consort from Liyue," you stated, eyeing the tall man with a casual look, having overcome your initial shyness regarding the topic over time.
He nodded, as to confirm your words.
"I am aware. There are many individuals who would be more than ready to accept, should you ask, however."
You smiled.
"Are you among them?"
Zhongli choked for a moment.
"Me?"
You nodded.
"I feel the strongest connection to you - out of everyone from Liyue." You spoke your mind, staring into the Archon's golden eyes that so beautifully mirrored the warm colors of the sky.
"I...I worship you, your Grace. I have for thousands of years," he spoke, his voice wavering with an uncharacteristic softness.
"I would declare myself the happiest being in Teyvat if I had the honor to be called yours," he added, lowering himself to one knee and bowing your head.
You couldn't help but laugh - forcing Zhongli's gaze back on your face, taking in the way your eyes squinted, the flash of your teeth and the slight shake of your frame.
It was magnificent.
"I should be the one kneeling, Zhongli - given that I'm the one proposing," you teased, gently running your hand through the long strands of his hair as a fond expression sunk into your face.
He stared up at you in admiration.
"I could never expect something like that from you, your Grace," he whispered.
You sighed, content, and sunk to your knees as well, now on eye-level with him.
"Is that a yes?"
He nodded eagerly.
You laughed once more, the melody as lovely as fluid gold, pulling Zhongli's heart even deeper into your clutches.
You gently brushed your nose against his as you leaned forward.
"I'm glad to hear that."
Your union with your three consorts had been proudly declared to the three nations - your newfound companions' glowing with joy and beaming with pride from the honor of standing by your side.
You had been quick to inform them that they had the freedom to be with - or do whatever they desired, you had no wish to be a jailer of any kind. Still, you basked in their affections, their gentle words and delicate touches - all eager to please.
You had expected more disturbance over your choices - but as luck would have it, most seemed pleased with your choices, if not a little envious of the affection, attention and titles your newfound consorts received from you.
It did in fact, seem to soothe the restlessness between the three nations, even if the other two archons had been a little bitter over the fact Zhongli had been the ultimate sign of your approval - eternity by your side.
Diluc found peace and happiness beside you that he had not felt in years - the missing piece of his shattered hart slowly mending with your loving caresses - your divine kisses.
Ayaka found freedom from the constraints of her life before - free to enjoy life, to dance, to express herself when she was by your side. She found her inner child that had been locked away since the death of her parents - locked away so she could play the part of an elegant and poised member of society.
Zhongli found adoration, after so long of worshipping and admiring you, you responded in kind, treating him ever so gently despite the jagged edges of his past. He felt fulfilled and complete as you delicately brushed his hair and attentively listened to tales of times long gone.
And you - you found companionship. Companionship and affection that few dared to offer - too afraid to reach above their ranks, too dedicated to worship.
Your days were filled with love as you spent time with your consorts - both one on one and together. You enjoyed spoiling them when you could, eager to show them off to the world at large.
You felt happy - and all of Teyvat could see it.
See it within the way the flowers bloomed - the warmth of the sun and the way birds sung loving ballads.
I headcannon that when scaramouche is drunk or REALLY angry he starts speaking japanese (inazumian idk) just imagine drunk affectionate scara:
Him laying on top of you in a fit of giggles, he did have alot to drink because of a mission succsess or it was one of the harbingers birthday he didn't tell you. He is so intoxitated that he doesn't act like his normal grumpy self, he's so clingy not leaving your side always touching you not innapropriatly just like holding your hands, your cheeks or lightly kissing your collarbone/neck.
He would cuddle with you the whole night because he didn't want to go to sleep alone (he did reek of alcohol) looking up at you with a slightly blush on his cheeks he said the most sappy things that if his future self would see him he would strangle himself. Too much pride for such a short temper.
"Y..you look so softttt.." He slurred his words and hugged your chest laying his head on your collar bones "You even smell so nice!.. nice.." you smiled slightly "kiss.." He pucered his lips out for you "kuni.. you smell of alcohol, you should drink some water." You replied scratching his temple but his response was grumbling "noooo.. kisss~" he really wanted that kiss huh?
You kissed him lightly it did help and scara started giggling "yay.." you patted his hair it was messy and needed washing "You are going to have a such a hangover in the morning." Scara didn't respond but the only sound you heard was light snoring "well goodnoght kunikuzushi.." and you kissed his forehead.
You were awaken in the middle of night to scaramouche looking at you and speaking softly japanese "aishiteru.."
The next day was chaotic and for scara painful "I will KILL childe for taking so much alcohol... aaagh.." He vinced in pain and grabbed his forehead as you passed him water "I hope that bastard will choke on that hydro vision of his, fucking bitch." You laughed, this was going to be interesting..
A/N: I didn't write for so long, also I don't speak japanese so I didn't want to use too much japanese phrases and then be told I did them wrong 𼲠so I hope you enjoyed this little fanfic (drabble? Idk)

The feeling of being marionettes instead of vessels for their god.
The emptiness they felt when they were marionettes felt nearly maddening.
Even if a character wasnât in their godâs team, even if a character hadnât even âcome homeâ - thatâs what their god always said when they pulled for characters - they could feel the hollow sensation in their heart.
The âpullingâ sessions were the only times they ever heard anything from their god.Â
One day, they heard their god talking while playing. They were delighted that their god had finally decided to talk to them - even though it sounded more like their god was grumbling to themselves - but oh, oh no, those werenât kind words at all.
âUgh, Yanfei! Arenât you supposed to be a main DPS? Your ATK is so disappointing!â
Those words stung, hard. Yanfei bit her lip to prevent herself from breaking down right then and there. She wiped the corners of her eyes and swallowed before continuing to attack the Hydro Mimics of the Oceanid.
Once their god had gone to rest after a long period of âfarmingâ and Yanfei could feel their presence no more, she dropped to her knees at once, crying her heart out. Xiangling knelt beside Yanfei to pat her back gently, Guoba making concerned noises and trying to hug the half-adeptus. Barbara was beside Yanfei as well, whispering soothing, comforting words even though she knew it would be in vain. Xingqiu stood by the group of girls, unsure of what to do.
âThat was too harsh,â he commented. âYanfei is one of the best âMain DPSâ, or whatever Their Grace calls them.â
Xiangling brushed a stray lock of hair from Yanfeiâs tear-stained face, caressing the girlâs cheek to wipe her tears away. âThere, there, YanfeiâŚitâs alright. You can cry for as long as youâd like.â
Yanfei hiccuped, trying to stop her tears. âPerhaps - perhaps Their Grace was right. Perhaps I wasnât destined to be a âMain DPSâ.â
âNonsense,â Xingqiu said. âTheir Grace was being too mean.â
âYou shouldnât say that,â Barbara said worriedly, looking around as if worried that their god would appear next to them suddenly.
âRelax, theyâve gone to rest. They wonât hear us. Iâm sure of it.â
ââââââââââ
âDonât do it. Youâll drown! You donât have sufficient stamina for it!â Xiangling could hear her teammates telling her telepathically.
âBut itâs Their Graceâs order!â Xiangling replied before diving into the water. Her legs hurt, a consequence of sprinting for too long, too fast.
âWait - !â Barbaraâs voice was cut short as Xiangling began to swim across the wide river.
Not long after, Xiangling could feel her fatigued limbs faltering. She could hear Xingqiu, Barbara and Yanfei screaming in horror.
The last thing she heard before fading into unconsciousness was Their Graceâs words.
âTch, not enough staminaâŚwhy must all of you consume so much stamina each time you sprint or glide or swim?â
ââââââââââ
âWhy wonât Ganyu just come home?!â
They could hear their god muttering angrily while pulling on Ganyuâs banner.
Xingqiu, Beidou and Yanfei had stepped forward time and again when amethyst star after amethyst star landed onto them. Yet there were no golden ones.
Secretly, Ganyu felt relieved that she hadnât been summoned yet. If the blank feeling she felt for so long already has her sanity teetering on the edge, who knows what would happen if the feeling only intensified?
A golden star glided across the sky. Ganyu held her breath in fear and anticipation.
A few seconds later, a female voice gasped. The half-Qilin recognised the voiceâs owner as the Acting Grandmaster of the Knights of Favonius, Jean.
Jean held the star in one hand, making her way to the front reluctantly. She held it above her head.
A voice - their godâs - echoed across the hall where they were gathered in.
Jean looked up, hoping that for once, her god would bless her with their kind words.
She shouldâve known better.
âJEAN?! Why not Ganyu?! Ugh, Jean! You took Ganyuâs spot! Iâd rather get Keqing - her designâs prettier!â
Jean took a step backward, obviously shocked and hurt. Behind her, Ayaka flinched - that went overboard. Keqingâs gaze was cast to the ground; she gripped the hem of her skirt. She couldnât feel happy even when her god said that they preferred her over another character. Not when they said it in such a mean way. Even Eula gritted her teeth, fists clenching, holding her tongue as to not have an outburst at how utterly hurtful those words meant.
Jean turned around to return to the crowd in silence. The Knights of Favonius immediately crowded around her, trying to console the crying woman.Â
Kaeya glared angrily at the front of the hall - where Their Graceâs voice was.Â
âYou may be our god, but youâre being too harsh on us.â
A/N: This is just pure brainrot. Planning to give this a part 2 but we will see if my motivation is still up to do it.
Summary: Honestly itâs just you whaling for the siblings lol
Warnings: SAGAU (i think thats it honestly)
Ever since you were isekaiâd to the world of genshin. You were expecting for the worst outcome because of the countless impostor AUâs youâve been reading, instead you were greeted by peaceful winds and kind npcâs who couldnât identify who you were.
People werenât enraged when you set foot in mondstadt. They saw you as a traveler from a different nation. Though the 5 star characters did recognize you. They recognized you and they all got down to their knees and worshipped you. They were all quick to offer their riches and services to you. Diluc even offered to be your personal bodyguard. Which made venti jealous and proceeded to fight the red haired man, claiming âIâm Barbatos! The god of anemo! I should be the one protecting their grace!â Which just further resulted to more conflict. You didnât want to be caged and constrained. So while everyone was at each others necks, you flee from mondstadt and seeked shelter in an abandoned house somewhere in between liyue and mondstadt.
Itâs been months since that predicament. You heard from passerbyâs that mondstadt has spread word to the other nations that the divine creator is somewhere in teyvat. It honestly just made your life a hassle. You were constantly moving from one abandoned house to another. You even have tried to stay at the island near mondstadt that wasnât on the map but to no avail. Apparently jean and venti remembered you taking them there (when you were doing the quest) and stationed guards there to assist you just in case you went there.
Liyue, on the other hand, had the adeptiâs travelling from place to place everyday just to see if they can finally find their missing creator. Xiao was the one who always finds you. Which was irritating because youâre just so tired from going to another place on repeat. The geovishaps try to buy you time from escaping but they were only 2 hits for xiao before they die. You curse yourself from giving xiao such monstrous build. You were lucky at the last time you escaped xiao he was fighting cryo and hydro abyss mages with multiple cryo and hydro slimes. He was getting freezed constantly, buying you enough time to run to liyue harbor and fitting yourself in a box that was in a ship headed to inazuma.
Yeah- your acolytes are annoying to escape from.
As you stayed in an abandoned house somewhere in narukami island, you found out that genshin still works in your phone. You spent your days playing genshin even though youâre inside the game. When you heard that Ayato was the new character being released, you were on a nonstop grind. Apparently playing genshin while inside genshin has itâs benefits. You had infinite welkin and BP, making your life so much easier when farming for primogems. It wasnât long before you managed to get enough money to bring the yashiro commisioner home. As you stared at his banner, you prayed to any archon and even to yourself (because youâre God, apparently) and wished for him. The night sky was suddenly filled with shooting stars in the colors of blue and occasional purples. You were in awe at the sight. âSo this is how wishing looks for themâ. Unbeknownst to you, everyone from inazuma went out of their houses, relieved to see the creator still well and alive. They wonder who is the lucky person who will be given the blessing of connecting with the divine creator. Who is the person that will get the golden star. As you hit 75 pity, you finally saw that golden star. And when you looked above the sky, that golden star brightly glowed in the dark sky. You even mistook it as a firework. But it wasnât. You closed your eyes, fearing on losing another 50/50.
Ayato was calmly watching their creator blessing them a myriad of shooting stars. Feeling the relief of their creator being well and still caring for teyvat. His eyes widened as he saw the golden star that was glowing brightly. He felt a pang of jealousy hit him when thinking that it means their god had blessed someone in inazuma with their everlasting presence. He remembered the countless times Ayaka and him waited for their golden star, only to not be blessed. Those feelings were amplified when thoma received not one, but three purple stars. He wouldnât mind getting atleast a purple one. Even a blue one. But all those feelings and memories disappeared as he saw the golden star was directly falling to him. âNo..â he whispered as he held his hand out to the star that slowed down when it came near his palm. The star glowed brightly and he was instantly filled with warmth. Ayaka was also shocked at the sight in front of her. Ayato tears fall from his face as he heard a faint voice of the divine creator telling him âWelcome home, Ayato!â
You squealed when you saw ayato came home. âWELCOME HOME AYATO!!!â You exclaimed as you jumped up and down in joy. You were so overjoyed that you forgot the one problem you encountered while farming.
You couldnât farm their ascension and talent materials for some reason.
As you sat down again, being bummed out by that. In the corner of your eye you saw your phone glow. Glancing back down to the device you were shocked to see the banner changing again.
It was Ayakaâs banner now.
You looked at your phone and to the night sky and thought âwell, thereâs no harm in wishing for the other sibling is there?â And with that, another wave of blues and purples filled the night sky.
You swear you heard a distant cry when the gold star fell somewhere near the kamisato estate again.
Can you imagine how weird it must feel to feel time passing at a much much slower rate than literally everyone else? Because your body and mind are still used to our world's time, but in Teyvat 1 Earth minute = 1 Genshin hour.
You're just existing, meanwhile the acolytes are literally crying on their knees, begging you to eat something. "It's been weeks since you ate!" They say. "Is the food not to your liking?"
Meanwhile you're just like
But I just ate a few hours ago.
Sleeping is even worse. To all of the acolytes you've been up for who-knows-how-long. Honestly, you put Jean and Ganyu to shame with how long you refuse to rest. What do you mean you're not at all tired? You've been up for almost a month straight! Do not make them literally tie you to the bed, hoping that you'll finally get some sleep.
And when your body gets the 9 hours of sleep you need, you are shocked to see the entire cult in utter chaos. Like some real "Lord of the flies" shit. And the second they see you awake again, they've back on their knees, crying about how much they missed you.
You suddenly understand why they are clinging to you every possible second. If they decide to absolutely lose their collective shit every time you take a nap, who knows what they'll do when you want some time away from them. To you it's only been like two or three days, meanwhile they're convinced that you have abandoned them as the seasons begin to change.
Time dialation is a bitch like that.
