First Impressions of this new beauty by Pavo Textiles. Ok so, it just got here late last night (seriously USPS? Delivering at 7pm? Don't you know we have kids and stuff?!) Anywhoo. I’ve only been able to wrap Amelia in a quick FWCC late last night and a FDH in it this morning. So these are all first impression descriptions. Plus I’ll have to bust out the tablet to bribe my 34# toddler up at some point… So I can see how people might draw comparions to Keshi, because the warp has that super tiny looking weave and the similar air-pocket type quality. But it’s really nothing like Keshi past that. I can see how people might draw comparisons to Wingy, because it’s blue and green. But it’s not like Wingy either. At all.
It has a certain spongey, seer-sucker quality that brings Apogee Granite to mind. But I feel this might have more recoil. It may even be a little beefier than AG, but not necessarily thicker. Clear as mud? There’s definitely something very different there so I really need to make some more comparisons to be able to articulate that better. I also really need to get my Toddler up in a DH to test that recoil.
As per the usual for new Pavo designs, it has a few similarities here and there to a few wraps but is still somehow completely unique.
A few terms come to mind: Spongey Airy Stretch Recoil (to be really put to the test later with Toddler later on) Soapy MicroTexture
