@simplyxbee-blog
ooc: Whoops! I sorta let this blog die for a bit! But I swear its not actually dead. My muse for Bee has just been a little iffy for a few weeks. Pretty much all of my rps have been dropped either by myself or my partners. On top of that school stuff has been taking up a lot of my time.
AND I’m kinda salty that the new eps of Bee and Puppycat haven’t been released yet even though they’ve been done for awhile and shown at several conventions >__> SIGH.
Anyway, I’m surprised to see that I’ve still been getting followers. I look forward to interacting with you guys at some point and thanks to everyone for sticking around!
“Then one struggle spicy bowl coming right up.” Luckily for Yusuke, she didn’t seem all that picky about what she ate. Most people, on the other hand, were which explained his lack of costumers at the moment. He lacked several ingredients for varying styles of ramen. As the saying went, you have to spend money to make money. But what was one to do when you have no money to begin with. That was where Yusuke found himself now; the struggle vortex.
“Rough ain’t even scratching the surface of it.” It would appear Bee was in a similar situation. Damn the economy was ass this time around, huh? Well, at least no one could say the duo didn’t work for their money. At least, Yusuke could vouch for himself though his mother didn’t exactly make it any easier for him, that was for damn sure. He didn’t exactly know much about the girl other than she had a thing for keychains and had a talking cat.. dog. Bastard. She had a talking bastard with her.
He commenced preparations for Bee’s order, the scent permeating the air. She had a front row seat of the view– the beauty of having a stand. “Yeah, tell me about it. Then again, not like my own mom would be much of help anyway. Pretty sure any money she gets her hands on are donated to the nearest freakin’ bar. Lady has her priorities straight at least, I’ll give her that much.” Was the oozing sarcasm not obvious in his words? “Yeah, it sucks. But hey, at least you don’t gotta listen to assholes who think they know what’s good for you or think they freakin’ know you when they don’t!” Oh, school. How Yusuke loathed you.
❝What, you mean teachers?❞ That description certainly fit. Merely hinting at school pulled her shoulders into a slouch, and her tone flat lined. She had graduated nearly five years ago, and she still wasn’t how over much of her young life was spent in a sea of angst and people pettiness. ❝Eck. Yeah, no, school’s not my thing either. Glad that’s done and over with foreverrrr.❞ It always baffled her when grown ups used to urge her to pursue a higher education. If she struggled at elementary, middle and high school what made them think she’d be able to stay afloat beyond that point? Yeah, well she proved them all wrong--by dropping out of community college in her first semester.
❝But hey, you hang in there! High school sucks eggs, but getting a better job is pretty much impossible without it.❞ Never mind the fact that she didn’t have much luck holding down a ‘real world’ job despite having a diploma, though that as largely due to her incompetence in the professional world above all else. ❝ Who knows. Maybe you could learn some stuff about business and then open up a whole Ramen Emporium or something! Then you’d have all the seafood you’d need to make a real seafood special! Oh,uh--no offence though!! Smells pretty awesome even if it is a struggle bowl! ❞
Having a soft heart in a cruel world is courage not weakness.

❛ STRANGE INDEED. I don’t believe I’ve ever encountered this species before. Ah – what did you say its name was ? ❜
❝Oh! His name is Puppycat! Because y’know...looks like a cat, but smells like a dog. Has a dog tail too, so yeah! I guess his species is, uh...hm...cat-dog??❞

“Uh, pardon me, miss, but, is this your cat? … . . er╾ dog? … cat?”
❝ Puppycat! Ah! Oh man, geez--Thanks so much! I’ve been looking all over for him!❞
<I do not need to be by your side all the time, Bee. I’m not your pet.>
‖◉ ℒ ◉‖ “Does this look like Burger King to you? You can’t have it your way. If you want a strawberry-frosted- sprinkled donut, you get the sprinkles that are already on it and no more. You got that? I just sell them. I don’t make them.”
❝ What kinda donut shop doesn’t offer extra sprinkles?! ❞ She didn’t actually know if extra sprinkles was actually a thing in most donut shops, but she was too hungry to actually care. ❝ Fine, fine. Then I’ll take a dozen...with MODERATE sprinklage. ❞ She added bitterly as she began to rummage through her pockets for cash--but wait... that stupid uniform didn’t even have pockets. ❝ Ughh...Where did I put my wallet... ❞
<BEE, YOU FOOL!> Right on cue, her savior appears at the door of the shop. Ironically, he was just as worked up as she was, storming in with fangs beared and paws clenched. <Donuts?! You have to come back and help me fix that stupid ship that YOU just crashed! > Despite his urgency, Bee only paused to acknowledge the fact that he had her wallet, which she promptly plucked out of his grasp before turning back to the counter. <BEE.ARE YOU SERIOUS RIGHT NOW?!>
Sweaters are always acceptable!!
“Seafood.. special..?” Gaze scanned the interior of his stand for anything that would resemble something seafood-y. His search brought him to stumble upon some frozen shrimp he had rather from the store earlier today. Just what were the odds of that, huh? “If ya’ count shrimp as seafood and the fact I’m making it for free special; then yeah. There’s a seafood special alright.”
Now the only problem that remained was his lack of pungent enough to satisfy the girl. He had spices, sure but nothing on the scale she perhaps desired. He’d just have to settle with the bare minimum for now and hoped she’s enjoy it by the end. Gathering his ingredients and preparing them thusly, he continued the conversation, his gaze fixated on the task at hand yet still managed to reply regardless.
“An adult..?” Well, he had certainly seen stranger. Talking toddlers for example. “Huh.. coulda fooled me, k–.. girl.” If anyone knew of the broke life struggle she spoke of, it was Yusuke. “Yeah, you can say that again. Had to skip breakfast and mooch off of my friends because my mom is too stupid to get a real job.”
❝Eh...❞ Beggars can’t be choosers, and Bee was never a picky eater to begin with. Broke people have a niche for rolling with the punches and making the most out of the little things. ❝Works for me! I’m starving!❞ A not-so-special seafood special wasn’t too much of a bump in the road. It was still free after all.
❝Geez, that’s rough.❞ That didn’t sound too different from some of her mornings in the past. With Puppycat around for work summonses, Bee had somewhat of a steady income. Of course the pay fluctuated with each job; sometimes they got enough cash to allow them to live comfortably for a few weeks without picking up another mission, and then other times they were stuck with weird alien currency or some other useless form of compensation kinda like that bomb ass key chain.
❝I don’t have anyone really helping me out--well, except Puppycat. I don’t really wanna bother my old man for cash. I don’t like it when he worries and stuff. ❞ She figured that the people who cared for her most were better off being left in ignorance about her daily struggles. Being broke sucked, but making other people fret over her was even worse. ❝ Blehhhhh. All this depressing stuff is like...depressing. Being a grown up kinda sucks...❞

‖◉ ℒ ◉‖ Clothing was a form of expression. He had to continually remind himself of that the longer he stood staring at the girl who had just strolled into the Big Donut. Just an expression… just an expression.
❝ I NEED STRAWBERRY FROSTED DONUTS AND I NEED THEM NOW. ❞ It had been one hell of a day in Temp-Space to say the very least. A crappy job on a hostile planet coupled with having to wear what was easily the worst uniform in her work-related wardrobe, had sent her into a rage that could only be quelled by one thing, and one thing only; the sweet, sanctification stuffing her face until she passed out. ❝And uh...EXTRA, EXTRA SPRINKLES, like...ALOT. ❞
accendoira:
simplyxbee liked for a start.
She dreams of fire. Of miles upon miles of scorching drawers—each one holding their own respective memory. She dreams of anger, and friendships long lost to her from actions she never had any control of. It’s in those twisted instances where she can truly be herself; despite Wrathia’s constant stringent presence. She dreams of all of this; however, the sight she’s currently beholding, is not of her own imagination. It couldn’t be, for it’s lush with an pleasant, and prepossessing sense of calmness.
Steam blossoms from between chapped lips, as petite fingers steel against the stolen ship’s hatch—pulling her from it’s carnage, and melting it’s frame in the process. Ignorance swells through the pit of her stomach the moment she stands on, once again, foreign soil. Then with a drag of air, Ava presses on-wards—ignoring those not-so-subtle plumes of flames that sprout with each waking step. The very ones that leave behind an rather conspicuous trail of marred, albeit small footsteps.
A hand smooths through long, now matted hair only to grasp at the glasses resting there. Freeing them from their perch, Ava slips them on, and inhales. The world around her melts into a vast sea of iridescent hues. She blinks, and turns—briefly glancing over hordes of spirits that still lingered, as if they hadn’t realized that they, themselves have passed. Honestly, she’s still unsure of how to go about finding the other demons from Wrathia’s book.
Though since she was here, trudging through the planet’s terrain at night, she might as well look, right?
The encroaching darkness disintegrates into nothingness as she passes, culled by the very glow that emanates from her feverish skin—-lighting the immediate area as she walks. The world seen through her glasses captivates her, and she slowly looses herself to it. Becoming more, and more unaware of any possible threats as she works herself further into the thicket. It’s not until she steps on something, and inevitably burns it; does she realize she’s no longer alone.
"Ah!” Shock splinters through her core, and in tune warms her veins—causing the brunette to glow more so. With eyes wide, she fumbles to remove the limbo glasses with clumsy fingers, only to direct her gaze down, at the item in question with an prominent frown.
<This...isn’t so bad...>
❝ See! I told you, it’s always better to go to the park at night! ❞
Beneath a canopy of starlight and a waning moon, they found perfect solitude. The island wasn’t very big, but in spite of their small population the masses always seemed to find their way to the park closest to Bee’s apartment. The allure of sunshine and open fields brought about a war zone of airborne Frisbees, rowdy children and their pets, family cookouts--which wasn’t at all ideal for a peaceful stroll along the trails.
Originally, Puppycat wasn’t too keen on being woken up in the dead of night for Bee’s Midnight Picnic, but he was lured out of bed with the promise of cake. Now settled within the lush alcove of the park’s gardens, his bitterness had dissolved beneath the serenity of nightfall. Among the overgrowth and flower blossoms, they almost seemed to be in a world of their own, a place where only the fireflies and the cool breeze could join them. After a series of particularly strenuous temp-jobs, some time to themselves and a bit of fresh air was just what they needed to recuperate.
❝ And now...introducing our guest of honor...❞ A wide smile crossed her lips as she reached into her wicker picnic basket to retrieve their prize. Puppycat put on his usual front of indifference, but the twitching of his nose and ears revealed his anticipation. ❝ Here she iiiissss...the most beautiful cake in the universe~ ❞ Their late night snack, courtesy of their favorite little bakery in town, a triple chocolate cake! It was artfully crafted, baked to fluffy perfection, bathed in fudge glaze and sprinkled lovingly in chocolate chips and cocoa shavings. In other words, heaven on a platter.
<Let’s eat.> Puppycat demands solemnly, having already hopped to his feet with hunger driving his impatience.
❝ WAIIIIIIT. Not so fast, man! There’s a raspberry bush just over there. Everyone knows chocolate and raspberries are like, the perfect couple. Back in a sec! ❞
Puppycat was left to guard their dessert as Bee darted off into the darkness, a duty that he held with utmost seriousness. Rustling in the nearby shrubs prompted him to rise and investigate (and possibly berate whoever/whatever was disturbing their secret nook). The scent of smoke and ash further roused his suspicions as he stalked over to the bushes in a huff. He never got the opportunity to take a look, for the culprit emerged just as he began to approach, nearly trampling him the process.
<Hey! Watch your step, idiot! WATCH OUT.> His warning was all for naught, and the worst case scenario was laid out before his eyes. Of all the places that awful girl could have stepped, Puppycat turned to find her foot smack dab in the middle of their beloved triple chocolate cake. Tragic.
<NO. YOU FIEND! I’LL KILL YOU. >
❝ Puppycat? What are you shouting about now? ❞ Bee returned to the scene of the crime with raspberries she had promised in her hands (and quite a bit on her face as well). Sadly, they all went tumbling to the ground once Bee had taken a moment to process that their meal had been reduced to a sad pile of mush beneath the heel of a stranger.
❝ Ah. AH.........AHHH. ❞
‘ pffft— cooties ? i haven’t believed in cooties since… forever !! ’ it’s not a lie, necessarily. having been stuck with a twin brother since BIRTH had made mabel more or less IMMUNE to the the belief of cooties. at least, for a while. peer pressure really was a terrible thing ( especially when it concerned an impressionable eight year old ) & it wasn’t long before the belief of cooties had even gotten to mabel. it was a bit embarrassing, however, to admit that she’d spent all of three weeks doing nothing but avoiding dipper at every possible minute before he’d made her come to her senses.
‘ cooties definitely don’t exist, which is good because i’unno what i’d do without ROMANCE !! ’
❝ Yeahhh, they aren’t. But I liked to think they were for awhile,. A lot of boys were, and still are, pretty icky.❞ What originally started out as a childhood truth became more of an excuse to avoid games of spin the bottle and puppy love throughout her adolescence. Even in high school she had an aversion to the few romantic advances she found herself in the middle of. Her crushes were primarily of the fictional variety, making it easy for her to gush without ever having to worry about embarrassing herself--kinda like how she often did when she was around Deckard. Her encounters with him were enough to let her know how difficult love could be. She couldn’t imagine constantly being concerned with boys. ❝ I guess I like to believe in a lot of stuff. Y’know like the Easter Bunny and Bigfoot. Life’s more fun when you do! Romance just sorta reminds me of growing up, and growing up kinda sucks--trust me.❞
“Oh boy…” The male’s face went crimson red as he heard the girl’s response, so she has been hearing him sing 80′s cheesy one-hit wonders for 2 minutes? He only hoped she didn’t heard him sing ‘Forever Young’ otherwise this would have made him die of embarrassment.
The offer was rather unexpected, it’s not everyone who offers fries to comfort a broken heart, he simply kept his gaze at the girl, with a weak smile. “That’s very sweet of you, but it wouldn’t be right for me to snatch your food like that, but thank you! All I need is to do is write sestinas about puppies and I’m good as new.”
Well he didn’t have to tell her twice. She had been craving those fries for days.❝ Well only if you’re sure..❞ She replied between chews, having scarfed down well over half of her meal within the few moments that had passed. ❝ I mean if it makes you feel better, I think you sounded really nice! And I dunno what a sestina is, but uh, I’m sure it’ll be great!❞ Bee knew next to nothing about the ins and outs of the average love life, and resolved that it was best to refrain from giving him flawed advice. When it came to comfort, she liked to stick to what she knew. ❝ Still you can’t go wrong with a tub of ice cream and a good pizza for company.❞
simplyxbee!!
“That’s really, really, really cool. And I’m not just sayin’ that–after going through a couple of different dimensions and seeing all sorts of stuff…”
❝ Wait, so you get to travel through space and all that junk too?! Do you like, have to save planets and beat up monsters ???❞
I am a princess. All girls are. Even if they live in tiny old attics. Even if they dress in rags, even if they aren’t pretty, or smart, or young. They’re still princesses. All of us.
Sara Crew (A Little Princess)
The male got jumped out as soon as he heard the girl talking, quickly wiping the tears off his eyes, dear god this was embarassing even for him, and HE’S the kind of guy that would recite poetry under heavy rain. As soon as he wiped the tears off his eyes, he gives a sheepish smile towards the girl. “Oh…sorry, It just that I got rejected by the love of my life and-”
“H-how long were you standing there?”
❝Mm, about two minutes...❞ Maybe applause wasn’t the best option. If Bee would have known that the motivation behind that passionate aria was a broken heart, she might have just backed away and pretended she heard nothing. But since she had already made her presence known , she would have felt guilty for leaving without at least trying to comfort the poor guy. ❝Here...take my fries, I guess. I dunno much about romance, but I hear eating the pain away works.❞
