Sul Sul & welcome to the Sims 4 Spellcaster Legacy Challenge! This challenge does use expansion packs & requires the Realm of Magic Game Pack. To win this legacy challenge you will need to complete all 4 objectives in each generation while following the rules. There are 12 generations in total of spellcasters needed to complete this challenge and they are based off of different types of witches in the zodiac calendar.
Objectives of this Challenge
1. Complete your aspiration/career
2. Master your genre of magic
3. Reach full friendship with 1/3 Sages
4. Have an hier to start the next generation
Create a new game. Create a founder. The founder is generation 1 and you must follow the criteria put in place for each generation. Your founder can be any gender and must be a young adult Spellcaster. You may use story mode for your founder but you must leave the traits how they are and change the aspiration to the Spellcaster Aspiration once loaded into the game. You may use a sim from the gallery for your founder as long as they have no skills. If the gallery sim isn’t a spellcaster they become one immediately upon entering the game.
Each generation excluding the founder will have 2 assigned traits that must be picked up as children/teen and the third that is acquired as a young adult is your choice. You may have any pets you want but it will add difficulty to your game. Each generation must have 1 familiar and can be a cat, dog, or bought at the shop in the magic realm once loaded into the game.
Once your founder is made you may choose any empty lot in Glimmerbrook to live on. (You can live on a not empty lot as long as everything is bulldozed before your sim buys it.) Your remaining funds are what you may use to build your first home. All 12 generations of spell casters must live on this lot. The family may never move. You may use the gallery for a home if you have earned enough simoleons. However no items from the buydebug menu are allowed. If any are in a downloaded home they must be sold and the earnings donated to charity. You may also delete them from the house and use the “Money X” cheat to bring your simoleon total to what it would be if those sold items never existed.
1. No cheating. It wouldn’t be a challenge if it was allowed. The only cheat allowed is “bb.moveobjects on” for fun decorating. You may use a cheat to get your sim unstuck.
2. Lifespan must be set to normal.
3. You must choose someone in the Sims 4 world as your spouse. No gallery sims. You can marry them and have them in your household but you must not accept any of their funds into your household income. You also have the option to just use a donor sim, however if the donor is a woman the child must be moved into the home immediately after birth. Gender & age doesn’t matter as long as the two sims can reproduce without cheating. Your spouse may have a part time career or be unemployed.
4. You must have 1 child to be the hier for the next generation. You may have more than 1 child but it will increase the difficulty of the challenge. You may adopt children if you wish but they cannot be an hier.
5. Your first born child must be the hier. You may influence their gender thru music & food only.
6. If your hier or generation sim die you may bring them back through magic potions or spells in the game. If you can’t bring them back within 3 sim days and you didn’t complete your generations objectives you have lost the challenge. If your hier dies you may choose to bring them back thru magic or potion use or to move on to the second child if their is one. Adopted children may not be an heir.
7. Your founder & heirs may not have any career unless your aspiration calls for it. An example would be the Master Chef aspiration needing you to join the culinary career. Children & teens may join clubs and programs if they wish but it is not a requirement. Teens may not hold a job but can make money thru other means. An example of this would be painting or helping in the garden.
8. Once your generation sim completes all 4 objectives of their generation and the hier is a teen you may move on to the next generation. The sim may be moved out if they have completed their generation objectives and there is 1 other young adult (or older) sim in the house.
9. Sims may only be aged up on their birthdays. Newborn babies can be aged up immediately.
