So ... there's my Oaktree Grove sims ... in my new game.
I guess this is the end of Oaktree Grove and my BACC though? They're 'starting over' in a new neighbourhood, and I don't play by anything even remotely resembling BACC rules any more XD

Cabin Interiors
A little play space in the area between living and kitchen - there's a 'nap area' on the opposite side, with toddler blankets and the infant playmat dangly thingy.
I like the whole open plan thing, like kids can be playing and their parents can be cooking or hanging out with friends but still keeping an eye on them. Feels like a family space :)
I really like the covered porch ^_^ I just want to carry on decorating it, and ignore the rest of the house!
The doors on the right lead straight to the kitchen, so here's hoping it will actually get used as the dining area.
Sometimes I just randomly browse tumblrs like Sweet Home & Garden for inspiration. This and this caught my attention today :)
Beach lots on rivers :D
I'm playing around with Nimi's Arianby and I just love that I can have an area for sims to swim in the river!
I think one of the things I have struggled with when making beach lots is trying to make them how I think beaches should look, rather than my own actual beach experiences. Which involve large stretches of bare sand, giant cliffs, caves, rock pools and very rarely this much sunshine.
I won't spam you with all the pictures I'll be uploading to Fisherman's Rise, but I am playing my game again and have queued some pictures up there ^_^
I haven't played for ages (life stuff - mostly good, some bad, all time consuming) but I should have 2 evenings a week free to play now!
The sideblog I set up for Fisherman's Rise (creatively named fishermansrise) is done ... but only follow it if you like lots of rambling simming notes! I'm just going to be posting ideas and notes and everything there as I go.
I'll reblog the pretty pictures to this blog most of the time ^_^
I may have started a new neighbourhood. I have lots of ideas, including a total (made up) history of the place and ideas of the basic layout/areas on the island.
I've started a sideblog specifically for this neighbourhood but it's mostly for me to keep notes and things. I'll sort out a theme at some point and post a link, but all the pretty pictures will end up here anyway :)
Also, I initially just started this because I realised my graphics can now handle neighbourhood view without jagged edges and solid bright blue water.
So I was sitting down, looking at this, deciding what lots should go where, and
Boyfriend: Heh, robot face.
Now I cannot not see see the robot face. Maybe it will be fine when there are lots. Lots in the robot's mouth and by it's eyes, and-
Remember this? I'm getting there with filling this 'hood up ^_^
(The building at the back left of this picture behind the trees is the farm in the linked picture - also considering I commented on that picture with "you know how much I love to start stuff and not finish it?" I'm pleased I'm still working on this!)
This is an ambitious project I may regret starting! I haven't built anything this big in ages. It's meant to be the village pub/tavern/inn - let's just explain away the random styles by saying it's had multiple owners with different renovation ideas over the years :)
