âI learned that just beneath the surface thereâs another world, and still different worlds as you dig deeper. I knew it as a kid, but I couldnât find the proof. It was just a kind of feeling. There is goodness in blue skies and flowers, but another forceâa wild pain and decayâalso accompanies everything.â
â David Lynch (via human-voices)
Agnosticism
Etymology. Agnostic (from Ancient Greek áŒ- 'without' and ÎłÎœáż¶ÏÎčÏ- âknowledgeâ)
Agnosticism is the view or belief that the existence of God, the divine, or the supernatural is either unknowable in principle or unknown in fact. It can also mean an apathy towards such religious belief and refer to personal limitations rather than a worldview. In simpler terms, itâs when one doesnât care if there is or there isnât a god.
âThe medium is the messageâ
Understanding Media: The Extensions of Man, Marshall McLuhan, 1964
In this phrase McLuhan proposes that a communication medium itself (radio television etc), not the messages it carries, should be the primary focus of study. Also that all media, all technologies are merely extensions of our bodies or our psyches.
For example, when humanity started using the television more that the radio, that made a new kind of people because of the difference of how our brain works while using one medium or another
And even better example, examine the way we talk to each other today in read life. Because of the main medium of our time, the internet, we talk in real life the way you talk on the internet.

Simulacra
Simulacra are copies that depict things that either had no original, or that no longer have an original.
Simulacra and Simulation (French: Simulacres et Simulation) is a 1981 philosophical treatise by the philosopher and cultural theorist Jean Baudrillard, in which he seeks to examine the relationships between reality, symbols, and society, in particular the significations and symbolism of culture and media involved in constructing an understanding of shared existence.
âThe state calls its own violence law, but that of the individual, crime.â
