Hiatus explanation/possible vent below the cut

So, funny thing happened last night. By funny, I mean something totally not cool. I was watching videos with my cousin last night, both our laptops on the table. Our table has a tablecloth on it. My cat gets onto the table, wanting attention from me. My cousin goes to pic her off the table, lil old Jazzy sinks her claws into that tablecloth, the tablecloth decides my blue Hawaiian Punch would look better dumped.... on my new laptop. I don’t know exactly the damage, but I can’t get it fixed. I have it upside down on a towel and wont be using it for at least three to five days. I’m praying I’m lucky and I missed everyhing and the keyboard and trackpad are ookay too, but knowing my luck, I’m really worried. My aunt’s treating me badly like it’s my fault, and I’m freaked out because my collegework is on there. I don’t know what else to do. I’m not allowed to open the laptop up or have someone look at it to actually dry it off. My aunt said if it’s fried, she’s throwing it out. 

It wasn’t my fault, yet I always get treated like this..
