UPDATE.

Hey hey babes! So I’ve been MIA for who knows how long and I apologize for that. I’ve been going through things and that sort of killed my muse for a while. However, I feel better right now and have been wanting to get slowly back into writing again. However, I’ve decided that for my own sanity, I’ll be moving Archie to my MULTIMUSE BLOG and will be starting over with him fresh ( with the exception of my threads with @spiritfound ). If you’re still interested in writing with my Archie, please follow my multimuse. 

I’ll reblog this a few times before I officially archive this blog.

UPDATE.

     elena’s life may have become tangled in a chaotic mess of all things that went bump in the night but she would maintain some semblance of normalcy if it killed her. that meant forming a committee to organize the winter dance and helping her aunt plan a wedding in what would be an impossible span of time for anyone else. elena gilbert wasn’t just anyone and when her family wanted something done they sure as hell got it done. “i’m going to pretend you didn’t just say that. of course people will notice!” pink lips part, expression morphing from pure shock to resolve. 

     “the wedding you don’t need to worry about. robert’s getting everyone in the wedding party’s suits and dresses tailor-made.” archie might not exactly be in the wedding party but he was escorting elena who was. they had to match, there’d be countless pictures taken. “as for the snow dance, bonnie found a place a town over that has really good deals on formal wear. we’re all planning to go next week. you should come with us.” 

A hint of fond amusement colors features, reined in enough to maintain plausible deniability--- or so Archie believes. Overall, it’s a nice break from the several recent revelations in his life. A very much needed injection that was the oh-so routine nature of this conversation that allowed for a moment to catch breath. Not that the redhead would claim to having needed one even if he was slightly less on edge now that things had had time to settle some.

“Why didn’t you lead with that?” The question is rhetorical, meant obviously as a joke. It’s often the place he goes to, feeling comfortable enough around Elena now to do so. “But umm yeah, that sounds great.” He nods, agreeing to her suggestion as he glances down at what is left of his lunch. “The dance is not for a while, though--- I thought?” There’s genuine confusion in his voice ( albeit rather slight ), brows drawn as he tries to remember the exact date for said event.

     “aunt judith and robert finally set a date for their wedding.”      a pause as the queen bee takes a seat at their lunch table,      features excited. admittedly, it was refreshing to have so–      mething normal to think about after the chaos that had been      founder’s week. and the revelations that came with those      events. 

               “it’s going to be the weekend before the snow dance and no                you can’t wear the same suit to both.” naturally, archie will be                her escort to both events which meant getting their outfits                tailored to match.

“Hello to you too.” The comment is accompanied by a tiny smirk, lips twitching to one corner as brown eyes catch with blue. If he really took the time to consider it, Archie might be surprised in his own resiliency. It hadn’t been very long ago when his life felt slightly more simple ( and perhaps this should qualify the situation as more concerning than anything else ). In spite of this, the redhead found himself somehow happier. There was a sort of freedom and empowering capability that came with the knowledge he’d recently gained. It wasn’t perfect, but instead simply felt right, if in an explicable way.

“You know I only own the one suit, right? No one will notice. I can just wear a different tie.” Shoulders lift and he’s only half serious, knowing full well there’s not a chance he’ll get away with wearing the same suit twice. Not that’s he’s entirely against the idea, especially if he can find a decently priced rental.

what exactly does a low-maintenance rp partner mean? well… it means that I will never rush you for a reply ( ic or ooc ), meme or ask answer, or pretty much anything! take all the time you need, it really doesn’t matter to me. this isn’t a race, this is something that is done for fun! so, don’t feel obligated to do something or even be online, if you don’t want to. it doesn’t matter how long or fast it takes you to respond to me, if you’re my person, you’re my person. and if you go on hiatus, i’ll stick with you through it so when you come back it’s like nothing ever happened. never feel obligated to explain to me why it takes so long, i get it we all have other things we’re doing. some of us work full-time, some of us are in school full-time, some of us run multiple blogs and some of us just can’t find the will or motivation to write for a couple days on end… I never want you to feel pressured to interact/talk/associate with me. so, do what you need for yourself and just know i’ll be here in the background rooting for you!
