Insert a small bark from their bedroom. “…I’m pretty sure I did.”

"I know you kids want a pet, but dogs are a lot of responsibility, and besides, we’re living in the castle, so we’d have to get it approved by Sinbad and Ja’far, and… Look, maybe someday, but for now we need to find these guys a good home where they’ll be taken care of, okay?"

Attila tried to cough to cover the bark up, but failed as soon as he heard the elder male speak.

"But we found them all around! They aren't anyones pets!" Emese argued, frowning as she did. They were so cute! How could they get rid of them!?

Attila had little faith that he hadn't destroyed it and only cleaned it back up

He looked to her as he smiled she was bigger like her father as he couldn’t help to giggle a bit. ‘’ Sorry! I know your dad and he said he had children! And now I finally see one! You look a lot like your dad!’’

"Oh, yeah, we all look like dad does" she chuckled, then held her hand out "My name is Emese, its nice to meet you then" she greeted. She didn't doubt that if he knew her dad he knew who she was, her dad seemed to like talking about her and her siblings.

The two of them were arguing over something that was more then likely stupid. They had their foreheads against each others, yelling as they did.

Ahh, the wonderful sounds of afternoon in the palace. Papers rustling, people sparring, his children screaming at each other…. -sigh-

"All right you two, no one’s a piece of rampaging unicorn dung!" He pried their heads apart and looked between them— where had they even learned such language from?!

"Now what’s going on this time?"

"S/he started it!" Both of their gazes shot to one another again, annoyance for the other on their expressions.

"Attila got mud all over my stuff!" Emese huffed, crossing her arms

"Well if you didn't leave your stuff all over then there wouldn't be a problem!"

"If you were cleaner there wouldn't be a problem!"

They both turned away from each other, glaring over their shoulders as they did.
