How has your experience been thus far?

“We-well its not that people are not being nice- its just, i havent made too many friends yet. But im really hoping to change that! After all, this is my first time at a summer camp, but i plan to make it count!”

The young woman looked up from her laptop, smiling at the boy. 

“I am! You’re not interrupting at all, please come in!” She said, closing the lightweight computer and rising to meet the young camper. 

“Yes, these are my therapy animals. Raj is an Abyssinian and Dove is, well, a white dove.” Genie explained, sitting in one of the chairs. She gestured to the couch, the spot next to the lightly dozing cat open. 

“Was there something you wanted to talk about?”

“I’m having a blt of trouble Ms, I really havent made any friends durning my time at camp so far- and id like to change that! i just dont really know how to make friends. Especially since my only friends back home are my older brothers. But thats different...”
