It all got to be too much!
Too many people, too many anons, getting yanked around here and there, my duties as a Sin, the sheer inevitably of things... I couldn’t take it! I broke!
Literally. I broke my form, gathered up some necessities, and put BB in charge. She’s always quick to jump at the chance to “take over” the realm, so I left with her promise of silence so she didn’t IMMEDIATELY rat me out to dad.
I went out and about, and found a fella with QUITE the look going for him. Nothing too special about his outfit, but his look was something I could enjoy. So after I ‘disposed’ of him, and a LONG bit of practicing my shifting and... Talking.
You ever try to fix the way you say certain things? Try doing that with every word with the letter S in it. Still can’t say SSSSSSSSSneakerS right.
But, with that new look and voice...
I took to the stage. Night Clubs, Bars, any kind of swingin’ joint I could get into and belt out a few tunes was where I haunted. And the crowds LOVED it. Hell, the OWNERS loved it, I brought in DROVES of people. I got cushy deals, plenty of free food and drink... And well...
Plenty of sorry little fans who snuck backstage to get an autograph from me. Never knew what hit ‘em ‘til I had them down.
