I live in Singapore now and this long weekend celebrated #SG50 - essentially Singapore’s Birthday. Anywho, as a part of the festivities there were free cable car rides to Sentosa Island. As I passed the station, an elderly Singaporean man proclaimed, “what the fuck is this shit?!” after seeing what was happening.
I’m new to this country, but I think that free cable car rides are offensive in their culture.
