Gaza many people convinced themselves no longer needed attention because they thought the war was over. But here, the destruction never stopped. The entire Gaza Strip has been shattered by genocide, ethnic cleansing, hunger, fear, and endless loss. We will never forget, and we will never forgive those who watch our suffering in silence, as if our slow death means nothing.
Every day there are martyrs here in Gaza. Every day there are shells, bombs, gunfire, and injuries. Every day one or two people die from Israeli bombs. The war hasn't ended; the war continues, but slowly. We are dying slowly.
With the ongoing siege and the prevention of medicine, food, and clean drinking water from entering, we are suffering terribly. My sister is suffering from severe anemia and dangerous malnutrition, and her body has become too weak to endure any more. she is still fighting to survive without the medicine and nutritional treatment she desperately needs to stay alive.
In Gaza, illness is no longer just pain — it can become a death sentence because of the siege, starvation, and the collapse of the healthcare system. Please help us and donate before we lose her forever.

I’ve been rewatching A League of Their Own, a female and queer-centric story with an exceptionally diverse cast and a dual storyline that focuses on Black lesbians and includes trans men, which got largely ignored and then canceled, and then I’m seeing all the Heated Rivalry stuff, and I have feelings, is what I’m saying.
I have. Feelings.
And there is sex in it. There is baseball. There are complicated romantic and sexual relationships, and fraught friendships, and closeted women, and family prejudices, and social and cultural prejudices. There is racism, homophobia, misogyny, and gender discrimination, and compulsory heterosexuality. There are people catching feelings. And humor.
I'm not saying that one show is inherently inferior or superior to the other. And maybe time and place is also an issue. But...man, I don't know. I think there's a lot to be discussed.

His body is as fragile as a twig in a storm; his big eyes cling to me and I cannot return him to being a healthy child because I cannot afford the treatment that might heal him. The doctor said: “Immune therapy is the only thing that will save him” — but that treatment is far beyond my financial means.
I beg you: where can I find the money for a life? Where do I buy my child a chance to breathe?
I feel injustice devouring us: hunger, poverty, neglect… all of it allowing the slow death of an innocent child in terrible silence.

Last year JK Rowling personally funded a group called Sex Matters to amend UK law so that trans women *overnight* went from legally women to legally men. This has resulted in mass exclusion of the trans community from numerous organizations, along with ongoing violent assaults on both trans and cis women alike.
With the new Harry Potter series she will be making a reported $20 million per-season renewal + other performance dependent royalties. She has been open across multiple interviews regarding her intentions to use said funds to push forth even more trans targeted legislation in the years to come.
This isn’t a “she gets paid no matter what” situation. The more eyeballs on this show the more money she has to actively harm vulnerable communities. By engaging with it you are directly supporting this and otherwise making a conscious choice to consume HP over doing the literal very least possible to not destroy the lives of trans people across the world.
If my stating the objective facts above upsets you then feel free to unfriend and move along. Your nostalgia-goggles feelings for a tired, problematic franchise mean nothing to me compared to the welfare of my trans friends and loved ones."

This includes chief anti-Corbyn-ite in Labour Peter Mandelson, directly feeding anti-trans stories to UK and US newspapers, actively bullshiting "biological studies" that trans people are idk ontologically evil (we have proof of Epstein pitching this exact thing), and creating /pol/ and then feeding anti-trans conspiracy theories for years until it all boiled over.
