Last time on DBZ or some shit, horrible things happened to two teenage boys. In this episode, even more horrible things happens but with a happier ending maybe.

Thomas ran through the dark streets, carrying his friend on his back. If he could get home in time, he could use their old-timey spare phone to call an ambulance or something. He wasn't sure how long he'd been running, but it felt like an eternity.
Ignoring the noises coming from the alleways and unlit corners, he managed to get home safely. And just as he did, finally, Percy started to stir again. Thomas promised it would be okay and gently laid him on the ground, before desperately going through all the kitchen drawers to find the spare phone. And just as he did, he heard something running through the hallways. And when he looked to find Percy, he was gone.
Thomas looked and found Percy in a utility closet at the end of the hallway. He was shaking, muttering something about staying away from him. But Thomas approached, thinking his friend was scared of getting attacked again. With a reassuring voice he reached a hand out, and gently placed it on Percy's shoulder.
And he stopped shivering. Faster than he could blink Percy grabbed Thomas' wrist. He looked up and Thomas could see his eyes, glowing ghastly green on his unreadable expression. Percy yanked him forward, grabbing his Thomas' shoulder with his other hand-
And bit down on his neck, hard.
Thomas wanted to cry out, but couldn't. He could barely make any sound, nor could he even move his arms to push him off. He was frozen. But he could feel everything; the pain of the bite, the warm blood trickling down his neck and collarbone, soaking into his clothing. All he could do was stand and whimper, as his mind reeled from what was happening. Percy, his best friend, was draining his blood.
For several moments he was terrified Percy was going to rip his throat out. He couldn't run, move, or scream. He could only breath short, gasping breaths. He tried to at least breathe deeply, to clear up his fogging mind. It helped very little, he felt his head spin and his vision fade. He feared the worst, but only for a moment. In spite of the violent feeding, it was still Percy, his best friend. Through his fear and clouded mind, he assured himself, the Percy he knows would never do anything to hurt him. That was his final though before his legs gave way, losing conciousness before he hit the ground.
It took only seconds for Thomas to come to. Dazed and feeling chills, he saw Percy, his dearest friend, huddled, weeping in the corner, muttering apologies repeatedly. The attack mere seconds earlier didnt matter to Thomas. Shuffling over to Percy, he reached his shaky, clammy hands to him, and wrapped his arms around his friend. There they stayed for a while. They didnt speak, Thomas just held him close, wordlessly letting him know;
"Its okay, I'm right here."

Once he'd recovered, Thomas had to work fast. After the sun rose, his aunts would be home within a matter of hours. Thankfully many of the floors were tile or wood, making it easy to clean blood from them. The bloodied clothes were tossed into garbage bags and thrown out back (which in hindsight was an extremely bad idea), and cleaned themselves off as best they could. As for the carpet stains and missing phone, Thomas would have to make up a story and accept whatever punishment would come of it. He almost forgot to patch up his wound, and while doing so checked up on Percy, who seemed to have no visible injuries on his person whatsoever, in spite of the night's events.
He had, however, no heartbeat, and still complained of feeling cold. When he spoke his long, sharp canines peaked out from the corners of his lips. It further sunk in that his friend was, in fact, completely undead.
Not knowing what else to do, Thomas hid Percy in his room, bundled with him under the bed covers to help warm him up. It felt almost like a proper sleepover. It helped at least, Percy calmed down enough that the ghastly glow faded from his eyes. His eyes looked like they always did now, the rich colour he'd always had.
It's all my fault, Thomas told himself repeatedly. Percy didn't want to stay out so late, it was all his idea.
Thomas promised Percy, he would do anything, anything, to keep him safe. He'll never let anyone hurt him. And he'd find the people who hurt him that night and get them back, especially the vampire who found and turned him...
In spite of the fact theres like 30 red flags in that statement alone, Percy didnt protest. He'd always relied on Thomas in the past, and now, it seems like it'll be literally impossible to survive without him. He'd become more dependent than ever.
But that's for another day. The two tried to get some rest, but were unable to fall asleep fully until after the sun began to rise.

Okay so this is toeing the line of being a straight-up fanfic, maybe I will write fanfic more often lol. For the time being, enjoy the meal fam 🌟
I think sometimes if It's a particularly long day, Peter Sam and Rusty like to bathe together. Nothing sexual happens, they just enjoy the closeness and the steam as they wash off the days troubles.
I’ve not a name for this. But this is me taking a crack at the “human” engines thing
So when the engines are built, a caretaker of sorts is born along side them. They are usually found inside of the locomotive as babies but don’t stay that way for long. They are born colorless, but take the colors of the engine when it is painted, as well as the area around them.
You can hardly tell the difference between caretakers and regular humans, aside from the colorful hair and eyes and slightly pointed ears.
Some key notes:
Eye color doesn’t settle until they are 5, and is a reflection of their heart. This is said to be their favorite place/thing to look at.
Hair color generally matches their paint work with some hue variation.
Skin is usually much tougher than normal humans. They feel temperature variation less as well.
They can and do eat, but don’t need much in terms of sustenance.
Physical health is based on their engines.
Steamies can control fire which is used to light their engine’s firebox, Diesels liquids, and Electric engines, electricity.
They like to collect small trinkets.
They die whenever their engine is scrapped, the purpose they served finished.
