A Lost Blade||Closed RP with Sinonthevirtualsniper

            Kirito knew that he screwed up this time, and he screwed up big time. When he went to Asuna after the incident with Shino and Gun Gale Onlline she didn’t want to hear anything about it. He tried to explain his reasoning about not tellin her the full reason why he was going. It wasn’t because he didn’t think she was strong enough, no he thinks that she is still the stronger of them. He didn’t tell her because he didn’t want to put her or anyone else in danger. The others had the same reaction, well except for Klein. Kirito was surprised that Klein wasn’t upset, but he already knew that he already did something like this to Klein during SAO.

So he did the only thing that he knew how to do. He ran hom, tears streaming down his face. Asuna told him that she needed some time to think about this alone. He couldn’t say anything back to her except for ‘ok’ as he was still in shock that Asuna, his light told him that. So he just wanted to get out of this world, so he put on his AmuSphere and logged into not ALfheim, no he logged into Gun Gale. Once inside he ran, he ran into the Wastelands tears still streaming down his face. He forgot to hide his online status as soon as he got on and ran to the cave areas and hid in one.

He sat down against the wall with his head in his knees, sobbing quietly to himself. “I think I’m just destined to be alone.” He muttered to himself as he just continued to sit there.

Sinon who was obviously logged onto GGO spent her time roaming around aimlessly in one of the casinos, trying to make some extra currency that she can transfer in real life. Why have a job when you could make money the fun way, right? Her only problem was trying to put up with all the older males who made her appear like candy. They'd hoot and holler at her whenever she won, and suggested that if she liked money then she should go home with them.

Obviously this wasn't every male in the game, but the ones at the bars and casinos tended to have this attitude. Really Sinon could only put up with the rowdy men for so long. She failed to notice Kirito logging on while she was earning and sometimes loosing her money. She only realized that he was online when she was leaving the casino onto the dirty and intimidating streets of the SBC Glocken.

Instinct told her that something was wrong, but Sinon was a hesitant girl. She wasn't about to run right to Kirito like a lost puppy. Instead she just casually checks out his location. He was in the wastelands? Alone? Obviously he'd be okay since he's strong, but it's still odd for him to go there. Kirito wouldn't be in the game unless he had to. Maybe Sinon had the right to go check up on him?

It took a good amount of time to be near him, and just to be sure everything was okay Sinon used the scope on her rifle to pinpoint his location. What she saw surprised her; Kirito was crying. The strong boy who she looks up to was alone in a cave rubbing at his eyes. Something obviously must have happened. It might be wrong to stick her nose in his business, but she knows that being alone in that state isn't fun. Even a few minutes alone with him shouldn't hurt.

She's sure to warn him of her presence. Instead of walking toward the cave head on she approaches it from the side, calling out in a loud voice. "Kirito? It's me! I hope you don't mind me coming in!" Too late. She was already entering the cave before he could answer.

  Kirito rubbed the side of his head after the strange creature hit him in the face. A look of pain on his face as he looked at the strange creature. That action just made this entire situation even more confusing to him. If this was part of the game, he doubt that if this was part of the system that this would happen. But there wasn’t any other explanation about what this creature was or how it got here. 

Though something was bugging him, it seemed like the creature knew who he was. That wouldn’t make sense if this was a npc character. He stood up and crossed his arms wondering how exactly he should handle this situation. He sighed and rubbed the back of his head glancing back at the dog, type thing.

"That hurt, and I still have no idea what you are." He started to talk to himself as he brought his menu up and went towards his friend menu. "Ok I give up, maybe Sinon is on and she might know more about you than I do." He spoke, as he sent a quick message to Sinon, asking if she was busy and could meet him here.

Sinon continued to send her icy glare at the swordsman as he complained and began to pull up his friend screen. If only she could form words, but this body prohibits her from doing so. It was incredibly hard to form her mouth the right way to say even a letter. She already tried when she was in her in game home. The only thing she can do is growl and grunt.

Wait, what's this? Kirito is sending a message to her? Yes! There we go! Finally!! It only took him forever to do that! The excitement that came over her was a little too much for her to handle. Sinon was now running around his feet and making barking noises happily as he typed out his message. Once he clicks send and the envelope symbol appears in front of her she skids to a stop. Maybe this would finally be enough to make him understand?

She balances herself up on her hind legs and swipes at the envelope to open the message and read it. Of course the message contained him asking for her help to try and understand what she was. Would she be able to answer back? Maybe with effort and lots of time. 

Her tail sways left and right as she holds her balance, her little paws typing carefully at each letter. The last thing she needed was to spell a word wrong and need to backspace everything.

          Kirito, it's me you idiot. I'm the weird creature in front of you.

After taking about a minute to type that, she clicks send. Hopefully Kirito realized what was going on when she started typing, but who knows? Maybe he really was an airhead and needs to read her message to understand.

What was Kirito saying? Did he say something about people? Perhaps the male was just speaking to himself. The blind girl just shakes her head, a mass blur of colors moving left and right instead of the clear objects they should be. Unfortunately she’s been relying on Kirito to lead her around in game and out of game so she doesn’t end up killing herself. "Candy? That sounds good.. Do you plan on sharing any of it or are you just rubbing it in that you have some?" She inquires with her pout being replaced with a smirk.

Kirito sighed as he jumped down to the ground and landed with a solid thud in front of Sinon. He sighed and rubbed the back of his head as he slowly approached the other, not wanting to surprise her. That and he was also somewhat concerned for his own safety right now

⌈Sorry Sinon, I was betting on your hearing would have been more sensitive by now.⌋

He explained, shaking his head and sighing. He wasn’t trying to be a jackass right now and take advantage of her. He’s been in her position, actually worse since all he saw was black.  He also had no idea how long Sinon would be like this, even if there was a chance for her to get her sight back. He has also been in her shoes before, the feeling of helplessness. Something tht he hated and never wanted to feel again. He actually almost died several times because he couldn’t stand being helpless and did some reckless things or even tried to take his life.

⌈It’s just that… I don’t want you to have the same experience that I had when I lost my sight. It was miserable and I almost didn’t make it through it..⌋

He shook his head as he pushed back those bad memories and a smile appeared on his face. 

⌈Here how about I take us back to the city and I’ll treat you to dinner to make up for this?⌋

He suggested, a smile on his face. But the tone of his voice suggested that he was still upset about his previous comment. But he was trying so hard to hide it, just wasn’t being very successful in doing so. He stuck his hand out for Sinon to grab if she wished to.

For the short amount of time Sinon has known Kirito, she’s been able to pick up on how he thinks. She has enough sense to realize when he’s not acting like his usual self. He might not make it clear through his actions, but his voice makes it a dead giveaway. 

"I understand..." At least he really was trying to help and not try to make a fool of her. He understands how vulnerable she feels at the moment. Though what does he mean by he almost didn't make it through? Did something happen to Kirito before she met him? Perhaps it wasn't the best idea to ask about it right now. 

Sinon's icy eyes dart left and right as she listens to him. The rustling of branches behind her from a crow causes her to jump and look frantically in the direction in came from. If she could just calm herself down and focus on her surroundings perhaps she'd be much better at this.

"I guess dinner sounds nice..." She murmurs as a blush forms on her face after realizing the noise was just from an animal within the game. How pathetic of her to get scared over that. When he reaches out his hand to her she's rather hesitant about taking it, but she'd be better off doing that then stumbling after him. Her leather covered hand gently takes his and she takes a small step forward. "Thank you, Kirito... I'm sorry I couldn't do it. Maybe you can teach me tomorrow..?"  She can't just have Kirito protect her 24/7. She needs to adjust to this so she can fight for herself.

⌈I know it’s not fair! But Death Gun doesn’t play fair! We know that even in a city you aren’t safe. You said you can see some color, that’s better than what I had, I had black and that’s it. Black within a Death Game!⌋

Kirito explained as he watched the sniper carefully one hand always hovering over his Kagemitsu G4. He wasn’t trying to be an ass to Sinon. Ok maybe he was just a tiny bit, and that small bit was enjoying this imensely, but he really did want to help the sniper. This was the only way that he knew exactly how to. Feeling the vibrations on the ground to navigate would probably take a day or two to develop and he didn’t know how long this would last.

⌈ Lets be honest here, we have no idea if this is just temporary or is this for life.⌋

He continued to talk to her, as he shifted his position and jumped into a tree that Sinon was standing in front of landing with a decent amount of noise.

⌈You aren’t in an open area, it’s a forest area outside of the city. I’m right here but you have to focus, your other senses will adapt over time so you can get used to not having your sight. You probably won’t be able to see the bullet line now but you can hear them fire giving you an advantage. But you can’t do that if you can’t find me! I’m in a tree branch, you just have to find which one!⌋

       ︻デ═一 Listening to Kirito’s words made her tense up. ╾━╤デ╦︻

Not only was the Sniper paying attention to what he was actually saying, but she was also sure to try and pinpoint where his voice was coming from. At first his words were coming from her right, but a rustling of leaves suggested that he had moved from his spot and was now somewhere else. 

Her dull eyes flicker left and right in a nervous matter as she tries to calculate some things in her head. So they weren’t in an open area? Then why did his voice seem to carry out around her? Were her senses just no adapted to the change yet, like as he had just said? 

The situation Sinon was in made her feel very uncomfortable. She couldn’t rely on her eyes for anything that was more than 5 feet away from her, her ears were currently useless, and her other senses wouldn’t be able to help her figure out anything. There was so much pressure right now, and honestly it was making her feel very anxious. The whole point of coming to GGO was to rid of her anxious feelings, not bring them here with her.

"Kirito! This is useless! I’m not about to let you take advantage of me like this and shoot me!" If he thinks that he’ll start their battle here, while she’s defenseless, then that’s just low.
