Nato to step up presence near Russian borders
Nato has announced it is stepping up its presence around Russian borders to reassure eastern European member states, in an effort also aimed at increasing pressure on Moscow before international talks on the Ukrainian crisis on Thursday in Geneva.
Nato chief Anders Fogh Rasmussen said:
We will have more planes in the air, more ships on the water, and more readiness on the land.

Bookbinding
Why? Bookbinding let’s you stitch your stories together. Like papermaking, bookbinding has a long history of being an excellent resource for recording thoughts. To bind a book you simply need to attach pages together. Stitching techniques can be as decorative as you’d like, or as simple as a staple. Binding your own book means you can bind your own sketchbook, and no artist should be without a sketchbook.
What else? Bookbinding gets us thinking about the sequence of things – the cover, the beginning, the middle, and the end of the book. Construct your own narrative of a real (or imagined!) event by writing, illustrating, and binding your story. More curriculum connectors can be found here.

DIY Air Dry Clay | Mashia Crafts
Air Dry Clay or Cold Porcelain is so fun to use - like playdough but it air dries hard. I was a bit dubious of how easy it was to make but all you need is glue, cornstarch, lemon juice and baby oil… and a microwave! You can dye it any colour you want, which means you’re going to save money on buying lots of different colours.
