Frog Fact: Frog cakes are pastries that are considered an icon in South Australia! They were first created and sold in 1922

They also bear strong resemblance to Danish kajkager (originally called frøkager, but changed due to resemblance of cartoon character Kaj), created in the 1950s.

The two types of cakes are different in composition, and bear no actual relation to one another, as far as history is concerned
