listen i do like langdon but the amount of people going "why did whittaker snap at him? santos does all of those things too!" are pissing me off because here's the thing: he was homeless, broke, and having a humiliating first day in the ER, and by the end of it trinity, for all of her prickliness at times, gave him a home and offered to pay his bills for ten. months. while he finished medical school. trinity is allowed to tease him because she has shown again and again that beneath it she cares deeply about him. also, she is his peer, not his superior - they're in this together. langdon doesn't have that kind of rapport with him and he's belittling him from a place of seniority.

trinity having issues with men and still offering dennis her spare room without thought after knowing him for less than 24 hours. trinity and dennis circling one another throughout this shift, subtly checking in. trinity confiding in robby about dennis’ situation with amy and worrying he’s being taken advantage of. trinity giving in and being open and honest and vulnerable in a way we haven’t seen her be to anyone this episode with dennis. trinity’s little spikes coming out harsher when dennis accuses her of enjoying his company! getting another fuckleberry! ohhh you’ll have to pry whitsantos from my cold dead HANDS they love each other SO MUCH

watching the langdon/dennis scene is so funny knowing that langdon is probably completely unaware that dennis is trinity's roommate. like bro don't try to be all buddy-buddy with him the dude literally resides in the home of your #1 hater

Whitaker is easily liked because he’s compliant. Santos isn’t easily liked because she’s defiant. The most well liked person in the room caring about the most “difficult” person to like as if it’s the easiest thing in the world to do. Everyone looking at him as if he were a saint for withstanding her, when to him she is his savior. Literally the most important platonic relationship on screen right now for me. Don’t look at me.

I find it funny how Will Wood is included in the "autism trinity" along with Lemon Demon and Tally Hall because, while those other two artists primarily create silly and light-hearted songs, Will's entire discography can be grossly summed up as "Please god I'm terrified I know there's something fundamentally wrong with me and the corrosive black bile that composes my vaguely humanoid being will ooze out and hurt those closest to me but I just want to believe just this once that I can be loved for who I am (whatever 'I am' even means)"
