MERMAID DR , types of merfolk

short post bc I had no idea what to write...

AMAZON MERFOLK

merfolk reside in the Amazon River, their tails typically have some elements similar to an anaconda! They spend most of their time absorbing the nature all around them, and also playing with the various animals that live with them.

ARCTIC MERFOLK

These merfolk reside in the Arctic Ocean—tails resembling orcas&seals. One thing they love doing is playing with the cute baby orcas&seals. Since they live in the Arctic, they have small patches of ice (like resembling scales) on their skin!

PACIFIC MERFOLK

To no surprise, is home to the biggest population of merfolk reside in the Pacific Ocean. The Pacific Ocean is often referred to as the "Heart of the Merfolk." Their tails resemble many animals; whales, sharks, jellyfish, and just about any other animal that lives in the ocean!

ATLANTIC MERFOLK

The Atlantic Ocean is home to the second largest merfolk population. A large number of them also reside in the Caribbean Sea! (Their tail stuff is similar to the Pacific Merfolk).

Many more merfolk reside in various other kinds of water--such as the Indian Ocean, The Great Lakes, etc.

All of them have special bonds to the animals/creatures that reside in the same waters as them--so attacks on them never happen.

On shiftblr tea and stepping away

Honestly it's incredibly draining and discouraging to see people's hidden hatred. I blocked a lot of people here to keep a peace of mind but it just never ends. I rejoined this community with the support of my friends but I started to regret this decision. Barely anyone is ever respectful here. I can understand not liking someone or even hating them but I can't with the unnecessary drama.

Constantly seeing my moots or literally blogs who mind their own business being targeted really drags my mood down. I'm not that naive to think that shiftblr was ever a peaceful rainbow glitter land but this is genuinely too much. Discourse, extreme crudeness, racism, never ending fights. At this point this community has lost its reason.

Also one thing is overflowing jealousy. Being blogger is really easy all you have to do is posting consistently and being a little professional instead of picking fights with strangers. You can't hate a blogger because they have a lot of followers or their shifting storytime sounds "fake". You all constantly ask for shifting storytimes and call bloggers liars, unreliable, fake, arrogant when you DO get storytimes.

You can't whine about original content or people "stealing" from others when the topic itself is like older than everyone in this community and been studied a lot. I don't know who to trust anymore. I love a lot of my moots they're all amazing people. But I don't think all the negativity is worth it anymore. I left this app for two weeks during the older shiftblrtea era and now we got a 0.2, how great 😑

Please just unfollow me (or better yet BLOCK me) if you support or engage with that shiftblrtea blog, or hell any shifting "confession" blogs atp. It is so against what this community is meant to be and what I want my blog to be. If you find enjoyment in a blog that allows anonymous hate to be sent to bloggers (pathetic btw) and just straight up misogynistic, homophobic, racists asks to be sent then y'all should not be welcomed into this community. Take that shit to twitter. The community on here was built by black/poc shifters, women, and queer shifters. If you're gonna leech off their contributions and then turn around and be bigoted to them we need you OUT OF HERE!!! We honestly need a mass blocking campaign stop giving these people and their blogs the time of day
