@hrvkrv
instead of waking he found himself falling deeper & deeper into a slumber he was ready to break away from just minutes before. he had just come home an hour or so ago – at least, it near the normal time most of the family woke on the weekend.
he didn’t think anything of it though. assuming sirius would let him sleep just a tad longer was nothing more than a dream, for he never gave them a minute more of sleep when roles were reversed. shuffling between sheets, a muffled groan emitted from his throat as he closed himself away, trying to get away from the big bad man trying to pry him out of the heavens.
“later. i’ll deal with it later.”
what was it? a fucking meeting or something?
there’s a quiet upon their home nestled deep in the woods, the winter morning sun just barely peeking over the horizon. while he couldn’t sleep for some time during the night with the other gone, he isn’t able to work his schedule around the two of them anymore. rather, with the three children just down the hall, he was no longer able to give priority to himself and the other asleep next to him. rubbing at his eyes, he sighed softly and nudged them again.
“the kids will be up soon,” he muttered, leaning in and burying his face over the covers that concealed the other from plain sight. with a pause, he nudged them with his head, pulling away and sitting up.
as he lifted his hands up above his head, he yawned as he stretched, relaxing soon after and looking over at them. “the sun is going to be up too, baby. come on. they can’t be dealt with later.”
i am a lonely heart swimming in a sea of open souls. once in a blue moon my chest tightens and my heartbeats quickens. once in a full moon my lone wolf seeks the scent of a pack and here i sit. crown on my head, as my lonely heart blooms. it seeks companionship, friendships, acquaintances, gone ones, stayed ones. once in a lonely night, i mourn, i howl, i love, i cherish, i whimper. then i go back wandering in my lost realm, thankful for all the scars. // this is not a follow forever, this is a thank you note.

"I brought vodka and ice cream."
@siriuskun special!
Eunae didn’t understand the whole concept of consuming ice cream when the season is already freezing as it is. Why would you want to taste the same freezing season inside your body system when the coldness are hurting your skin? Wouldn’t the frosty-effect doable? How does one’s body could take the multiple winter effect all-at-once, anyway?
Reverse psychology, Myungsoo told her once, as if trying to answer all her questions when he came over one winter night with a tube of ice cream (when she had a fever, on top of that–and she thought it will be a dreadful triple winter combo all over again inside her body).
His answer, though, wasn’t convincing enough for Choi Eunae, who prefer to be reassured with legitimate source instead of hearsay or a man’s words, so she let Myungsoo ate the whole ice cream without even trying to prove her also-illegitimate analysis. Eunae doesn’t read much science books–she has been exposed to the social-knowledge science since high school, doesn’t understand or memorize the whole anatomy system; but still thinks that eating ice cream on winter is a bad idea per se.
“Vodka and ice cream? That sounds… great!”
But when Sirius came over with the same tube of ice cream in the exact winter season, Eunae doesn’t even find the gut to say ‘no’ and greets him with ecstatic grin and joyful laughter instead dragging him to argue about whether it is a good idea or not to eat ice cream when she’s cold as it is.
(because, duh–who cares about ice cream when she get to see her favorite person again after such a long time?)
“Let’s come inside first, I’m pretty sure you don’t want to taste the ice cream outside. I’ll put on the heater for you and make you tea if you’d like…. and welcome to my new home, Siri!” She greets him as if it’s only yesterday that she met, trying to act as normal as possible–as if the whole separation that happens in a span of one year never happened. It’s not that she’s trying to hide it, but Eunae simply accepted the unexplained parting with an open-mind and grateful feeling because they can meet again, quickly busied herself once entering the pantry to prepare a cup of hot tea (made from dried apple and cinnamon, imported from Germany–the scent reminds you of Christmas already, her favorite, that is).
“So,” but it wasn’t as if she wasn’t interested about his whereabouts before–or whatever happens between him on a span of one year that she never saw him. There are gazillion, hundreds, millions things she wants to say, that she wanted to ask. Eunae is a girl whose born with a certain level of curiosity that made her talk too much sometimes. The female looks up, small smile on her lip as she glanced at Siri, warm gaze penetrating through those round eyes while her brain quickly find a topic that binds them together: “…still riding in the Audi R8?”

Pyrrhic: ❝Paradise Lost❞
sckrv:
this was it, the moment that would decide their future—he thought. the bad omens he felt in south korea had no changed since the very moment they landed in japan. there was something written in the waters for the both of them, and not even he could look ahead to avoid the oncoming situation. this would be life changing, he was sure, his gut instinct was breaking his mind so noticeably that even he was scared for what felt like the first time in his life. to show fear, especially in front of a man that held him up so high, was beneath choikang.
he would have to protect them.
“i take it you’ve come here already to disable the security.” sirius was always more gifted when it came to the modern age of technology. as for choikang, he didn’t find much use for it other than to find old readings or to watch porn—the internet was useful for that, that was about it. but sirius, he knew how to toy with a few screws just like their ex that had saved him from his own country, anyways who wanted to suck all their time away on a screen for hours like kids did these days—man, he was getting old. smiling to himself at the thought he too followed, stepping out of the car to walk around the hood to stand by their side. his clothes were still slightly wrinkled, though it was no matter, blood would be stained through the fibres to warm his veins.
with one look at them he said no word, there was no need now. they were on a mission, a the more silent the two were, the better. their communication came with one look, & their voices could just so easily give them away. the two were as sync as he hoped to be, and so he wished them feel on their end of the mission—but he stared just a little longer. there was still that fear that was unbearable, unable to shake off even at such a critical time & he knew full well that they could tell. sucking in the last of fresh air he would take he walked first with no weapon in hand, his senses drained to focus on the bloodlust that riddled his mind with each step closer to the building.
now it was time to infiltrate the lair.
buildings like these were easy to enter without making a sound, wormholes were located everywhere & with a certain spark the pathways that once were reserved for critters were now easy to crawl through for men like themselves. cracking his knuckles he readied the fire within before presenting a challenge to the concrete foundation, a quick fist to the air bringing a gust of flames from his knuckles to slam against the cracks over & over again until the hole was within their grasp to breach. it only took a few times before he knelt to the ground, dirtying his knees as he crawled through the space and he hoped they were close as they followed—he couldn’t have that bad feeling at the beginning of their mission, no, there was a reason why he stepped in first after all.
through the tunnels they made it to a clearing, and he was hesitant at first but he was first to stand tall within the grimy walls of the buildings basement where he would be the first to scout for any reckless thieves lurking about. with skillful & silent steps he walked around the perimeters before signalling them in with his fingers, nails digging into the palm of his hands soon after as he heard the sound of footsteps fast approaching.
this was it;
level one.
Already taking steps toward the bridge overlooking the river, Yunho’s heart rate was beginning to elevate little by little, just like every other time. When he first had gotten into the line of work, it had been difficult for him, traumatic even, to go out knowing that he would either have to kill or be killed. Of course, things change after a decade in the profession. Missions for the past year and a half seemed to go much differently with the other by his side; the fear that came with going into a mission morphed into some sick sort of adrenaline, anticipation building in him for what was to come each time. Choikang craved blood, lived to kill; mission after mission with them had made his job much more enjoyable, if that was even something heard of. This time around, though? It felt a bit different, but he wasn’t going to let that get in the way of what had begun as a perfect getaway.
“You know me best,” he commented, tossing a teasing glance over his shoulder at the other, confirming that they were correct. Weeks and weeks of meticulous planning to put this together, from the moment he had heard about the opportunity up until that night. With the prospect of no longer needing to be on the run from anyone in his home anymore, Yunho was willing to do anything to rid himself of them.
As the pair made their way across the bridge, Yunho made to stay inconspicuous as always, using the darkness and shadows to his advantage. The building loomed closer and closer, and with both of their longer strides, it only took a few minutes for the pair to arrive at the spot where it was quickest for them to get through. As Choikang strode past him, Yunho’s eyes flitted to their back, watching with a mixture of admiration and intrigue as their fists began to warm. Yunho always became enthralled with how much more they were than a mere human; as their fists warmed and burned against the foundation, he knew that the crumbling concrete was no challenge for them.
Following them into the dark, Yunho stayed quiet and obeyed them before staying close behind. It was a change for him to see the other leading the way, and he couldn’t help but feel as if something was off. He wanted to believe that Choikang just had a feeling they couldn’t shake, but at this point, he was beginning to worry, too. Before he could dwell on the feeling more, however, their cue from in front of him had pulled him from the concerns in his head. Pulling the cloth up over his mouth to obscure his face, Yunho slipped into the room right after, fingers moving to take hold of one of his guns fastened in the holsters. Thumb expertly switching off the safety, he pressed himself up against the wall, awaiting the footsteps quickly approaching.
All it took was a glance over at Choikang to know that they were ready; with a deep breath, Yunho counted down in his head as the footsteps became louder until he reached zero. Turning to face them, he dropped down to the floor and swung his leg out, knocking his first victim off their feet and onto the floor with a thud. The moment their body hit the ground, Yunho was quick to pull the trigger, aiming the silencer of the gun for their head and pulling his finger back before they could even make reach for something, anything to save them. One down. As soon as he made his first kill, it was only a matter of time before more showed up. Rising from the ground, Yunho made a run toward the faint shouts and footsteps, already beginning to ride off of the adrenaline starting to pump into his veins.
So far, so good.
Pyrrhic: ❝Paradise Lost❞
though there were worries, though there was a mission at hand he couldn’t help but become pleasantly distracted by the way their nails grazed over his skin & the way their lips lusted over his scent. it had almost felt like an eternity since they had last touched him this way, which of course was a lie ( they were quite frequent in their sexual endeavours ) but every time felt anew. his heart was slamming against his chest and his fingers were knotting over the tight fabric stretched over his thighs, and he knew full well they were watching his every move.
now he was beginning to lose air.
long lashes fluttering shut a smile breaks from his worried expression, forgetting the paranoia at the back of his mind so he could simply focus on the feeling of their persuasive touch with the added words. how they got him so wound up he didn’t know, but his neck was always the sweetest of spots—so vulnerable and ready to break, especially when their hand was coiled around so tight. feeling a pool of heat churn in the pit of his stomach travel even lower he cracked open his eyes and tried his best to look at them, but they were far too busy marking his ears that they seemed to be obsessed with. a small half hearted chuckle fell from his lips as he craned his head back, resting against the cushion as he stared at the ceiling of the car they were in. this was bliss—being pampered before getting blood on his hands.
“nothing’s wrong, sirius.” he couldn’t have them snap him back to reality, not now when he was feeling so high. those low words breathing against his ear had the tiny hairs on the back of his neck stand, reaching out to new heights as a shocked rolled through his veins to meet the heat south. he didn’t know how much longer he could take being captivated by their touch here, at such a critical time where the yakuza were watching—no, waiting—for them to break in at any moment. at the mention of red ( oh yes red, his favourite colour ) he perked up in his seat and turned to look at them completely with a small smirk lifting from his lips, a brow arching with interest.
“i want to do all those things, but first… i want a little sneak preview for something i’ll get later.” abruptly, he turned in his seat before pushing himself up to sit on his knees. leaning towards them he outstretched his hand to grab a hold of what was rightfully his between their thighs as his lips claimed theirs, their limbs quick to tangle in a heated mess in such a small space. once choikang was completely satisfied with what they had to offer him for those short ten minutes he found his fingers moving quick at work to adjust his clothing, making sure he was beyond presentable but still delicious enough for sirius’ mind to waver every time they would look his way.
smoothing out his collar in front of the mirror he then twisted his torso to lean back beyond the seat where more weapons were neatly stacked, his hands grabbing a hold of their favourite choices before he tossed the firearms towards them. for him, the bullets didn’t do it for him, he had his blades beneath his wardrobe to thank for the millions of kills he buried over the years. as he watched them, with that creeping paranoia somehow worming its way through again, he tried to silence & shut it off with his words. “are you ready? let’s get this over with.”
It was both intriguing and surprisingly satisfying for Yunho to see just how quick they were to fall apart under his touch. When it came to his relationship with Choikang, it was clear to him that a lot of things changed about them since the first time they had gotten together nearly a decade prior. While Choikang couldn’t remember anything from their past, and although their relationship now is a stark contrast from their relationship in the past, Yunho still could elicit the same reaction from them with nothing more than a simple graze of his fingers and a press of his lips to their skin. He knew exactly what they felt in that situation; he was in the same position as Choikang when it came to the other touching him as well, and Yunho wouldn’t have it any other way.
The entire time, Yunho had been extra attentive to every little reaction he pulled from them with his ministrations, from the way their shortened breath escaped their lips to how their head fell back to expose their neck, just for him. Of course, nothing seemed to have Yunho holding back a satisfied smirk more than the sight of Choikang’s eyes lighting up at the words he spoke to them; what better way to get the killer riled up than the prospect of creating a bloody mess alongside him?
If only it had been as simple as that. For some reason, even the request that Yunho made of them to join him in a massacre had Choikang taking his time to get ready. While any mention of killing would have the other man already making their way toward his first victim, this time around seemed... different, to say the least. Yunho had been perceptive enough to notice the other’s reluctance toward the entire trip, especially when they were out doing these... recreational activities, but couldn’t figure out just what was eating at them, instead using his mouth and his hands to put them at ease.
Rather, he’d gotten them even more hesitant, if their desire to spend time in the car more than standing above fallen bodies with blood on their hands were any indicator. As they climbed over the center of the car and into his lap, Yunho’s skyrocketing self-confidence over Choikang’s preference to spend a few more minute with him had soon turned into slight concern, especially after the way they had behaved these past few days. Of course, he couldn’t ever find it in himself to complain with having his beautiful boy in his lap, let alone deny them of anything, including himself. Yunho would give them the world if he could, and would give them anything they wanted. As the minutes passed and their clothes had been shed only to be put back on soon after, Yunho could already tell that while they seemed to be relaxed and ready to go, Choikang still seemed a bit on edge.
Yunho silently reached out for the proffered pistols, giving a nod in thanks and moving to slip them into the holsters that were worn on his body for years already before sneaking a few glances over at the other. With how much they wanted to stall on going through with the mission, Yunho had almost considered turning around and taking them back home for the rest of the night instead, but he had too much to gain that night. It was a good idea to him, really; eradicate all of the higher ups of one clan to finish his job from a year and a half ago, potentially have them move into another clan that he already worked with, and of course, not have to worry too much about looking over his shoulder more than usual while home in Japan. The fact that there was information about the person behind the deaths of his parents lying behind those doors also seemed to be the cherry on top, of course. As they spoke to him, he glance up and nodded in agreement. “Yeah. Let’s go before we end up having our first failed mission.” Clearing his throat, he quickly adjusted his shirt once more before moving to open the door to the car and taking a step out. “The quicker we get this done, the quicker we can go home and finish off what we started earlier...”
Pyrrhic: ❝Paradise Lost❞
why he agreed to this trip was beyond him but he knew that sirius had something devious yet loveable planned for the two. their anniversary to mark the blossoming half year mark that they made it, that their relationships previous to one another meant nothing. children were a great mix to the two of them, but getting away every once in a while was refreshing for the killer pair who strived over teenage thrills such as these. when blood was in his mind it was hard to get it out, and if their children were in the way of their vacation who knew what he would do to get what he needed. now here he was, sitting by his lovers side in one ( of their many ) japanese vehicles with his lips locked together, hand intertwined with theirs as he stared out the window.
there was still something horribly unsettling in the waters.
with his fingers tightening around theirs he tried to find some ease in the way their thumb grazed over his skin but there was nothing but a hollowing pit taking over his stomach. when they slowed down to somewhere unknown, parking into the lot before cutting the engine his eyes flickered away from the forest lines outside before turning to face the man he put so much faith&trust in. as their eyes fell for his he leaned forward just as they did, accepting the coil of their intoxicating fingers around his neck. a breath shuddered out as his eyes followed their lips until they came together, his tongue brushing over their lips before they pulled away, leaving their taste lingering on his tongue as he fell back to rest against the door.
at their words he tilted his head to the side, hands falling to his lap meanwhile their hand was busy still giving the much needed attention around his throat. choikang craned his head back as he showed off the expanse of his neck, waiting for their thumb travel downward where they could apply that pleasing pressure that made it tight enough for him to choke on his words. “just a little bit of business and pleasure… but i don’t feel good about this.” & he didn’t, no matter how much he wanted to trust sirius there was a warning screaming in the pit of his stomach.
looking forward at the destination of their mission his lips curled in as his tongue lashed over, moistening the dry skin before he swallowed down the nerves clawing up his throat. there was no way he would have his mind fully focused, but he would have his bloodlust to thank to get him through the mission. “how many bodies are inside? objective?” now wasn’t time to think of these worries, no, they would get in the way and eat away at his killer mind. he prayed sirius had a better head on their shoulders, for he wasn’t so sure about himself. it was obvious he was suspicious with his body language, torso twisting forward with his head slowly following to stare outside as well. there had to be a reason as to why they were here, maybe it was the last stepping stone towards sirius’ answers of his families death–regardless something wasn’t right but he had to treat the mission all the same.
As his hand slipped slowly from the nape of their neck, Yunho could feel their blood pulsing through their vein from beneath his palm, slow and steady. With his thumb moving slightly to run against the trail of their jugular, he soon let it move down along the swell of their throat, a tiny and satisfied smile appearing on his lips as they bared more and more of the skin for him. The feeling traveled down to the pit of his stomach as his eyes zeroed in on the pale skin littered with a smattering of love bites and marks, some more vibrant in color and others a faded shade of red. Yunho couldn’t help but feel some sort of contentment at his handiwork, admiring their body and their reaction to his touch as he moved his thumb along until his hand held their throat in a loose grip. He leaned in, his lips parting as he dipped his head down and pressed a slow kiss to the side of their neck, about to sink his teeth into their skin when the sound of their voice filled his ears.
Teeth grazing against their neck, Yunho pulled his head away slightly, moving to gaze up at them with slight concern. As pleasurable and memorable as the trip was for the both of them, he couldn’t help but feel that something was eating at Choikang. They seemed much more preoccupied, eyes pensive and lips pursed from time to time during the past few days. Yunho wanted the week to be fun for the both of them, for the trip to Tokyo to be an escape from all of the worries and concerns that laid across the sea at their home. “Baby...” The term of endearment came out quietly, the word breathed out against their jaw as moved his hand up to brush through their hair. “Something’s still bothering you. What is it?” Meeting their gaze, Yunho looked at them inquiringly before tilting his head to kiss along their jaw. “You don’t usually feel anything less than anticipation and bloodlust at this point... What’s eating at you, hm?”
With his hands moving down, Yunho let them wander before slipping an arm behind them and pulling them closer by the waist while his other hand returned to its rightful place along their neck with his fingers grazing over the skin. The feel of them turning their head to face straight out the windshield instead of facing him had Yunho trying to make the best of the opportunity, his lips moving to trace over their jaw and cheek. He turned his head as well, teeth moving to nip at their protruding earlobe before a breathy chuckle escaped his mouth; they were already moving to focus back on the task at hand, just like he wanted. “Bodies... At least twenty. Maybe thirty...” Muttering softly, he tightened his hand on their neck just a little, lips moving to trace over their skin to the other side of their face. “Objective? Wipe out a yakuza clan and a few people who know a bit more than they let on... Your job?” Pausing, Yunho instead nipped at their other earlobe, lips in a smirk as he let his next words leave his lips, sure to pull a reaction from them. “Paint the building red with me, baby.”
Pyrrhic: ❝Paradise Lost❞
Hands on the steering wheel and headlights beaming ahead of them through the busy streets of Tokyo, Yunho’s foot pressed down on the accelerator, letting the car gain speed as he expertly maneuvered it around the city. As he drove into the night, he kept sneaking glances to the other man sitting in the passenger seat, his thumb rubbing over their hand that was clasped in his. The weekend had been enjoyable enough, a nice couple of days spent in his hometown with the two of them to celebrate the first six months of their revived relationship. Days were spent outside, the couple walking through tunnels of flowers or eating food that was both healthy and delicious for both of them. After a delicious dinner and evening stroll under the summer sky, their nights were spent at Yunho’s, limbs tangled with each other between the sheets and loving words murmured between the two as they hid away from the rest of the world.
Of course, always the one to take an opportunity if it presented itself and would be more profitable than risky, Yunho had heard something on behalf of loose lips, quiet murmurs making their way from person to person in the underground before finally making it to him. Being able to annihilate a few high-profile yakuza members seemed appealing enough, the ones that were behind his capture a year ago would pay and an entire clan would sink without their captains for long. He’d be able to rid himself of the people who had chased him down through his home; he wouldn’t have to worry about looking over his shoulder each time he returned home. At the same time, he could also give his lover what they needed: violence, blood, murder... the rush and the thrill to kill. It was a win-win for both of them, a nice way to top off the trip to Japan for the couple.
The pair sat in a comfortable silence, Yunho’s fingers entwined with Choikang’s as he gave the other a gentle squeeze while continuing toward their destination. It was only a matter of time before the streetlights were a bit more spread out, the traffic less intense at that time of night, and the building where the mission would be carried out closer than ever. Parking just across the bridge from their destination, it was just far enough that nobody would suspect the car was theirs, yet good enough of a spot that the pair could watch the building from their seats. Killing the lights and cutting the engine, Yunho exhaled before turning to face the other beside him, a tiny smile on his face as his fingers reached out to loosely wrap around their neck. Leaning in, he captured their lips with his, the kiss hard yet brief before pulling away just a little to gaze at them. “Just a little bit of business and pleasure tonight, right?” he murmured, thumb gently grazing their skin.

Tangled: ❝What Happened?❞
Jessica swallowed her anxiousness and smiled a little. The door opened and the taller male with faded red hair, or it at least was in this light let her in. Following him into the living room she sat down on a near by chair. Setting the baby carrier on the floor next to it, Jessica shook her head in response struggling on how to start. “Ah no I’m fine.” She said quietly. Yunho was just as sensitive as her when it came of their mother. But it was a question that couldn’t be put off anymore.
Summoning the courage, she started. “I was looking over the papers you gave me, when you came to my old apartment and told me we’re brother and sister. There’s nothing on mother’s death certificate or any articles I managed to find…..on how she died. I’m not trying to bring up painful memories but I really need to know. What happened?” She asked being as honest as possible. She subconsciously fiddled with the engagement ring around her finger, a nervous habit she recently developed.
Jessica knew why she felt so guilty, knowing speaking about their mother would cause him pain. It was the last thing she wanted to do, but she felt she couldn’t get married without knowing. She guessed it might be connected to why he did what he did, but her memory was quite foggy. A silence seemed to hang in the air as her question remained. Minyeon babbled a little in her sleep, slightly startling Jessica. There were a lot of things she’d faced in life but nothing much this nerve wracking. Most of her life she wondered what her birth mother was like. It was sad to discover she’d passed on, but most of that had been set aside caring for a baby and discovering her temporary boss was her brother.
Still standing beside the couch awaiting an answer from her before taking a seat, Yunho’s gaze fell to the little carrier with the baby girl nestled beneath the blankets. Smile on his face, he returned his gaze to the woman sitting on couch as she replied, giving a nod in understanding before moving to take a seat on the armchair to the side of the couch. “Alright, how can I help you?” Facing his sister, he remained quiet with an attentive look on his face, watching her and awaiting for her to let it be known just what was bothering her.
Letting her words sink in, Yunho pursed his lips, staying quiet for some time. As his hands moved and remained clasped in his lap, a pensive look appeared on his countenance as he attempted to gather his thoughts and choose his words wisely. It was a delicate situation, and while his sister had her own skeletons in her closet, there were some things that she wasn’t quite desensitized to yet; he didn’t want to scare her or cause her disgust with what really happened, instead trying to make sure everything would be concise yet not too graphic. Yunho cleared his throat finally, lips parting. “Alright... get comfortable, it’s a long story. However, if you feel it might be too much, just tell me I’ve said enough and we can stop for now, okay?” Giving a smile of assurance, he took a breath before finally beginning.
“I don’t know how good your Japanese is, but I wouldn’t be surprised if you didn’t find much about it. It’s been twelve years, there’s not going to be much online, especially with the... circumstances.” Alright, good so far. “They were killed in 2003, while I was in Seoul... Both had gunshot wounds to their heads.” Okay... that was a bit too blunt- “You won’t find much about their deaths because it was a hit to protect some high-profile people.
