I've started my posting schedule! If you read my story Dirty Little Secret, this is the story that the preview fic was for. The events in Dirty Little Secret are within Ghost of You and Me. Stay tuned for next week, the first chapter will be posted!

GHOST OF YOU AND ME: MY PERSON

I FINALLY FINISHED THIS CHAPTER!!!!!!! It's only been like two months of struggle and strife, rewriting and editing. Finally, it is done. Chapter 51 is named after the song My Person by Spence Crandall.

Here's the preview (bonus points for whoever can name where this scene is inspired from)

“I’ve never found you so sexy as I do in this moment,” she said as she touched his chest, “Want to go upstairs, and I can show you how attractive you are?”

Harry groaned as she pulled him down by his shirt and kissed him. “Don’t do this to me,” he groaned as she started kissing his neck. “Your mum and dad are coming over soon, and Molly and Arthur will be over soon after.”

“We have at least an hour,” Hermione said, reaching into his boxers.

“Fuck, you’ve activated the launch sequence!” Harry groaned, “One of your parents or a Weasley could walk in at any moment and we…”

Hermione gasped as she heard the front door.

Harry grabbed the throw pillow from the couch and moved it in front of him, “I told you!” he said as her mother came to the doorway.

Briar Rose stared at them as Hermione moved behind Harry. “Oh.”

“What’s…” Camillo said as he froze seeing them, then turned around. “So sorry… I just… I’ll step outside.”

Hermione groaned, lying her face on Harry’s back.

OFF FOR A WEEK- PREVIEW OF CHAPTER 50- CIRCLE GAME

Harry kissed her, “I love you.”

Hermione bit her lip. “What do you think about trying to have a baby?”

Harry looked up at her, “Seriously?”

Hermione nodded, “I mean, we are good at the practice of making one,” she teased, rolling her hips, “Why not stop preventing it? We are getting married in a little over two months, and Rosella is just getting older-”

Harry pulled her down for a kiss, “I think we are damn good at practice, and you are a damn good mum. I’m all for it if you are.”

Hermione kissed him, “Well, then… let’s get home and throw tonight’s dose of my birth control out.”

Chapter Summary: Sirius is finally improving enough for Rosella to meet him for the first time. In the meantime, the pressure of wedding planning reaches an all-time high, and the cracks in Hermione’s carefully maintained composure begin to show. As Hermione does what she does best and tries to micromanage every situation, tensions between her and Harry come to a head.

PREVIEW OF CHAPTER 49- AMAZED

“I have my ways into talking you into things,” Hermione mumbled as he ran his fingers through her hair, immediately relaxing her.

“I can’t undo the years that I wasn’t here, but I’m here now, Hermione. I’m not going to run again. I’m in this for life,” Harry told her.

Hermione swallowed hard.

“You don’t have to carry me anymore. Let me carry you sometimes,” Harry told her.

Hermione turned to look up at him, “We just had our first fight.”

Harry snorted, “As far as fights go, that was pretty rubbish.”

Hermione chuckled as she kissed his leg. “With our stubbornness, we’ll get better.”

“Hey, we had a fight,” Harry stated. “Fights mean makeup sex, right?”

Hermione laughed, “How about a bath instead? I’d probably fall asleep during it at this point.”

Harry scooped her up, “I’ll make sure you don’t drown. I have a history of that, you know. Rescuing you from water.”

Hermione snorted, “Nearly got yourself killed in the process.”

Harry set her down to start the water, “Details, details.”

Bad News

Happy Summer! For the first time in forever (cue Frozen), I was able to have some time to myself. I went to the park, and there was a nice gazebo with a quiet picnic seating area. It was next to a playground, and I just spent time enjoying my surroundings, relaxing, and outlining Ghost of You and Me.

I'm sorry to share that my outline takes the story to Chapter 55. Now, could it possibly go longer? Very easily, as it was supposed to end at chapter 30, and the story went into a different direction that expanded it. But no worries, there is more story to come. Another project will also be coming, and with the two, Ghost of You and Me will go into September!

The door opened, and Harry stepped in, pausing at the sight of Sirius slightly upright and alert.

“Hey, Healer Harry,” Sirius said casually.

Harry swallowed before crossing the room. “Hey, Sirius.”

Sirius stared at him before breaking into a crooked smile. “Shite, look how tall you are, and attractive,” he looked at Hermione, “No wonder you finally fell for him.”

Hermione laughed. “You should see him with his shirt off.”

Sirius barked out another laugh that dissolved into coughing.

Harry frowned as Hermione helped Sirius take another sip. “Is that why you agreed to marry me?”

Hermione grinned. “Maybe.”

Sirius looked at them. “I’m so glad you two ended up together.” He exhaled. “How did I come back?”

Hermione hesitated, “It’s my fault. I was given a spell, and it wasn’t right that you were gone.”

“I wasn’t gone,” he murmured, “I just couldn’t be back through the damn veil. I could see it. It would… it would haunt me.”

Harry stepped closer. “Where were you?”

Ron and Luna slowly strolled up both barefoot. Ron folded his arms over his chest, “So?”

Hermione grinned from the patio and lifted her left hand. The diamond seemed to glitter more in the morning light, making Luna gasp as she ran over to see it. “Oh, it’s so lovely.”

Rosella turned in Harry’s arms, spotted the ring, and released a squeal so piercing that everyone winced, but poor Harry was holding her and was unable to cover his own. “Rose! My ears!” Harry protested as he sat her down.

Her tiny hands flew to her hips as she looked up at him. “Daddy, you promised me when Mumma got a ring, so would I.”

Harry sighed, “You are right. I cannot disappoint my baby girl.” Hermione watched Harry reach into the pocket of his shorts and took out a crinkly package.

Rosella’s eyes widened. “Is it cherry?”

Hermione grabbed Luna’s arm as Harry lowered himself to one knee in the sand.

“Rosella, my amazing, beautiful, slightly deafening daughter. I am here asking your permission to marry your mum,” Harry stated. “I promise to love you and your mum for the rest of my life.”

Rosella looked at him. “I get to wear a fancy princess dress?”

“Of course,” Harry agreed, glancing at Hermione as she smiled.

He ripped open the package and slid the Ring Pop onto her tiny finger. She stared at it as if it were a crown jewel, then licked it.

“Cherry!” She yelled, “Thank you, Daddy!”

Hermione pressed her fist to her mouth as tears sprang to her eyes. “Ignore me.”
