SO, here I am...

Gone for who knows how long, smoking a rolled cigarette, wondering what to say even though I think I already know.

I’m tired of running. I’m tired of disappearing when things go wrong, I’m tired of hiding. I have been sitting here, contemplating, trying to escape what I thought was bothering me most. It was only then, when faced with the root of my problems did I realize I had been running from the wrong things.

I wasn’t fully forgiving.

I wasn’t truly letting go.

After an unexpected absence from the road, I will be returning to rainbow and traveling in August. It was never my intention to take the summer off from traveling, however, in the long run I feel it may have been a smart thing. Things would not have gone well at nationals, this I know. I needed this time to come to terms with things I had been trying to shut out for so long. I tried so hard to hate someone else that I only ended up hating myself...and that’s a place I never want to be again. 

I really need to get a new notebook; this internet typing isn’t really for me.
