My biggest attack this year, for @venomous-qwille

this one took a while and had me experiancing a whole lot of emotions but at last I am very proud with how it turned out.

Gif version and some explanation on how I did it

If I had to guess, it probably took me 30 hours over the course of four days, and about 24 of thoise were drawing.

I started as you usually do, sketched my Idea and the layout on a canvas, since this was pixel art and I wanted it to be full screen in the end, I chose a 480x270 canvas. I drew all frames for the characters separately so I could later arrange them as needed. All characters have a minimum of 8 frames, the most being 14.

Altogether it was 167 frames, that I then had to resize (all separately) to 1920x1080 using Affinity. When resizing pixel art you want to use the precise option, depending on what program you use you have to look around a bit to find the correct option.

Finally, I imported all the frames into Krita and arranged them so the animation looks nice, I noticed some missing or wrong colored pixels in some frames so I had to go back to my drawing, fix it, export it as a png again, resize it and re-import into Krita. This part took around six hours but finally I was done.

And I got to say, its looking prettyyyyyyyy good.

I was very much inspired by the horror image of Rosa listed on AF and thought I'd draw somethin' ✨spookay✨

I got multiple jumpscares while working on this, where I switched tabs and got greeted with The Horrors but alas-

I should draw body horror more often! I have two more revenges to go >:D Any revenges I don't get done this year will be the first on my list next year <3

Meet the Character!

Rose

Rose is an ageless spirit taking on the form of a cat, originally they were [REDACTED]. Having been [REDACTED] and being trapped in [REDACTED]. She can be often found wandering or simply lingering nearby, often with a blank stare. Her black coat makes it easy to weave between shadows whilst her pale eyes give an eerie feeling to anyone close by.

She is typically described as reserved, quiet, and almost watchful. Despite her odd demeanor, some people have managed to form a sort of bond with her, some even calling her a friend.

Rose uses she/her/it pronouns.

Currently she lives with [REDACTED].

Do not refer to her as anything but Rose. She will not answer to anything else.

Meet the Character!

Affogato

Affogato is an android type synth, roughly around the same height of an average human if not a little shorter. They were part of the daycare staff back in their old location, often being given jobs no one else wanted. The other synths there often pushed them around and they were ultimately left to the sidelines, not having much merchandise or marketing in their old location. After hearing about the new upcoming changes some states were doing to improve (or worsen) synth laws, Affogato left the establishment with the help of some of the human staff.

Many people at their old location often described them as forgettable, a people-pleaser, but reliable nonetheless. Affogato has worked on standing up for themselves and being more firm rather than letting others decide for them. Their friends consider them to be a truly helpful android who's not only willing to lend an ear to any troubles, but is often a voice of reason or well-thought ideas.

Affogato uses they/them pronouns and identified as non-binary and aroace! They typically are found wearing sweaters or warmer types of clothing, sometimes even during the summer!

Currently, Affogato lives with [REDACTED] in [REDACTED]. They work at a local synth mechanic shop, often helping bring supplies or give an extra set of hands to help. They can be mostly found working with [REDACTED] as an assistant.

Meet the Character!

Collice

Collice is a rather short DCA bot, originally from a location set in America and close to the town he currently lives in. In his old location he was introduced as the replacement DCA bot and was set to manage the daycare. However, after some time the company decided to re-establish him as a performer and he was often found either taking pictures with fans, prepping for the next show, or following after the main star of his location. Many state this was the height of his fame though some claim he had a more mean streak. After a damaging incident and losing his position in the location, he escaped his location and ran to the next town over.

He is well-mannered and typically a pleasure to have around. People often describe him as patient and understanding, though he can get caught up in his own head at times. Occasionally coming off as nit picky, egotistical, and caring far too much over his own appearance. He has a love for children and can always be found being gentle when near them, often dropping everything to help one.

Collice uses he/him pronouns and identifies as gay. He often will mix various clothes and has/will cross dress on occasion. He does speak with a British accent despite not actually being from Britain, a thing he picked up from his location's old Moon model, [REDACTED]. His location's Sun model, [REDACTED], was said to have a tendency to [REDACTED] which has carried over to Collice.

He currently lives with Soren in [REDACTED]. He has worked with others to help set up his own performances once again, often performing Ariel silks, Ariel hoops, or dances; though he will regularly take on babysitting jobs, something stemming from his care for children.

Glow Feature below 👇

The glowing star-like dots are scattered throughout his silicone, making it look as though the stars themselves have landed on his skin. On his face they lessen in abundance and appear more like freckles of sorts, only visible when the lights are out.

This glow feature automatically turns on whenever the lights dim.

Meet the Character!

Soren

Soren is a very tall DCA bot, redesigned after a hornet. Originally he was a security bot in a location set in Germany. Often found roaming the halls or posted up to guard certain areas from the public. A stickler for the rules, many would describe him as off-putting, reserved, and almost isolated. Often appearing upset or even angry.

Originally being named [REDACTED] by his location's Sun model, Dawn. Whilst he got along with Dawn it was said he had a harder time understanding Dusk, his location's Moon model. After [REDACTED], Soren was set to be scrapped for no future use. Due to an error in shipping he wound up in [REDACTED].

Soren uses he/him pronouns and identifies as Demiromantic.

He currently lives in [REDACTED] with Collice, working as a security for hire and helping do a lot of heavy lifting in construction.
