Looney Tunes / Scooby-Doo parody comic!
Story by Jesse Leion McCann
Artwork by Dave Alvarez
There are a lot of cartoons about characters desperately trying to get some sleep, but one of my favorites is the Merrie Melodies short "Good Night, Elmer," directed by Chuck Jones. It was released on October 26, 1940. I hope you all have a better night tonight!
Plastic Man, the Justice League and Looney Tunes by Joe Staton
guys you have 2 see my cowboys
i think this is the funniest possible image that could be used to illustrate this subject
me engaging in my deepest, darkest fantasy
decided to update/redraw/hopefully solidify some of Porky's family more, since i drew the last lineup of this before i knew i was returning to the Actor AU! a lot still subject to change, but i wanted to get something down
all of their features and jobs are inspired by features and jobs Porky's had before, as indicated through this very very haphazard infographic. and for the uninitiated, Petunia is his sister in The Case of the Stuttering Pig which is the short with the rest of his family, so that's why Priscilla has Petunia's role of secretary. i could've gone the Paying the Piper route and made her a butcher who smokes hams... Peter's also military because 1) wartime but 2) in this radio broadcast Porky says he has a brother fighting overseas ("no, but my brother is overseas... he's in the cavalry--tank co--he's with the field artilli--he's in a can of spam". don't worry he's fine)
Loonatics Unleashed --bad guys--
Some character designs I want to try for classic Looney Tunes villains in a futuristic, Loonatics-inspired style. Some of these characters already appear in the show, so I'll mainly be creating different takes on their designs, mostly wondering how they would look in a hero shooter game.
Syl-Vester and Claude – A pair of mercenaries for hire, taking any job they can to survive. I made Sylvester a little smaller and slyer than his Loonatics version but still somewhat buff, especially compared to his partner. They form a ninja-and-gunslinger duo with a slight resemblance to the SWAT Kats.
Electro Fudd – Not much different from his version in the show. He’s also a bounty hunter, but in my headcanon, the original Fudd created many clones of himself. So every time one of them is taken down, another can take his place. In fact, there are many Fudds working in the city in various other jobs.
Sam Bandit – Not too different from his version in the show, but I imagine him more as a futuristic train robber who operates mostly in the desert, attacking cargo trains. He uses special ammunition capable of damaging ships and destabilizing the terrain so his crew can loot them.
Finally, Mar-Vyn – A general of the Martian Empire, acting in the name of his queen and fantasizing about blowing up Earth.

This scene always makes me cry laughing...

Looney Tunes: "Kit for Cat"
This Is It, 1960
"This Is It" appeared on The Bugs Bunny Show and its reformatted versions until 1984, when it was replaced by the new theme song "It's Cartoon Gold." Then in 1988, for the third season of The Bugs Bunny & Tweety Show, "This Is It" returned as the theme song and remained as such until the show was canceled altogether in 2000. "This Is It" later appeared as the theme song to MeTV's Bugs Bunny & Friends program beginning in 2021.
