I recently saw that this year is the 40th anniversary of the release of Transformers the Movie in theaters. Man, this threw me for a loop.
I remember watching the movie on the big screen at the old Astoria Theater on Steinway Street in Queens. Sadly the Astoria Theater closed down years ago so a 40-year rewatch at the old movie house is out of the question. But I have the Blu-Ray so I can watch it at my leisure.
Before I do that, I want to do a deep dive on the original series of Transformers G1. Start the whole damn thing from the beginning. Let's see if it holds up after over 40-years. Autobots...Roll out!!!
Came across this cool Alien and 1980s anime inspired short. Give it a watch.
This is one beautiful piece of Star Wars anime. Check it out!!!

Well well now.
Hey everybody. How's everyone doing at this near end to the year 2025. Crazy that a quarter of the 21st century is in the books. To bring this quarter to an end, I've decided to go back and relive one of my childhood hobbies/obsessions: Star Wars.
I'm old enough to have seen the original Star Wars as a kid in the theaters and driving my dad crazy to get me as many of the action figures that I could get my little grubby fingers on. As the years went on, the Star Wars fervor dimmed as the universe grew past the original trilogy. So much so that there are so many stories out there in a variety of mediums that I have yet to explore.
I would love to read the Books, but since COVID-19, my reading and attention spans aren't what they used to be. So to try and remedy that, I am following the list that Polygon.com recommends for watching/rewatching Star Wars in chronological order. First on the list is the Disney+ series The Acolyte.
StarWars.com describes it as "An investigation into a shocking crime spree pits a respected Jedi Master against a dangerous warrior from his past. As more clues emerge, they travel down a dark path where sinister forces reveal all is not what it seems…"
This series is part of the High Republic era. For more on the different eras in the StarWars timeliness, check out the following link: Official Timeline: The Eras of Star Wars
As I continue watching I'll post on what's interesting and what's next. Let's see how long I can do this before my diminished attention span gets the better of me.
May The Force Be With You.

Came across this interesting looking Norwegian film from 2022 entitled Troll. Directed by Roar Uthaug, the film tells the story of a dormant Troll that was awakened due to mining in the Deep in the Dovre mountains. Upon Awakening, the Troll is on a destructive rampage on his way to the Norwegian capital of Oslo.
The film has piqued my attention. Let's see what the Norwegians can do with the Trolls of legend.
This whole fucking post is a rollercoaster
I know the feeling. I kept my dog in my house in Fallout 3 while I was out saving the Capital Wasteland to avoid him getting hurt.
