ive seen lots of ‘exercises to burn tummy fat’ posts and stuff like this online, so i feel like not a lot of people are aware of this so i needed to post about it.
you can NOT target fat loss! please understand this! doing certain ‘leg’ or ‘arm’ exercises will not make you loose weight in those certain areas, that’s not how fat loss works!
everyone’s body is different, and everyone has different parts of their bodies that they gain weight in first. for example, mine is my hips and bum. my belly is probably the last thing i gain weight on.
so, if i want to loose weight on my tummy, i MUST loose the weight on my hips and ass first.
‘i want a flat tummy but i don’t want a flat ass!’ i hear you say. that’s where i introduce you to my dear old friend, the most trustworthy thing on the planet:
muscles
you CAN target muscle gain! you can do your leg and core exercises and build up that leg muscle or a lovely bum or a bit of abs. muscles are your FRIEND. the fat has got to go.
in short: get rid of fat. gain that muscle.
and stay safe!
