"Now who said it was gonna bite? For all it knows, it's just walking on another surface," Jack pointed out, watching as the spider descended on a web and landed in his other palm. "The way I see it, most animals'll leave you alone unless you give 'em reason to feel threatened....except wasps, those things are just plain mean."
Ā "That's not gonna make me touch it." She huffed, shoving her fingertips into the crook of her elbow. "You can have them as pets, for all I care, just keep it away from me." As she spoke, she watched the crawling arachnid with concealed interest.
