What would you change in your siblings?
nothing and everything.
rank your siblings with reasons
1. all of them.
2. kathleen.
no reasons necessary.
Go on then. Ask to your hearts content.
most people are other people. their thoughts are someone else's opinions, their lives a mimicry, their passions a quotation. â oscar wilde â
addiemontgcmeryâ:
âi have wine and tissues. thatâs about it. though, iâm sure i could find some coffee.â addison said standing up from her desk and looking at the other red head. âwhat on earth are you doing in seattle, nancy? arenât you suppose to be half way across the country in new york?âÂ
âWine is good, wine is very good.â She shrugged a little at Addisonâs question, âI wanted a change of scenery and it appears that Seattle is the place to be. So here I am.â
drharringtonâ:
âi donât have any but iâm sure i can go pick some up from somewhere.â esmĂ© nodded after turfing out her bag had become unsuccessful. âare you okay though? i get that weâre doctors but if youâre not feeling well, maybe i can do you a chamomile tea or something to help take the edge off before you start?â
âNo no itâs okay, Iâll be okay after a little while, I just need to unclog a little.â She appreciated the gesture. âI think I just genuinely need to get on with my day and Iâll be okay.â She really did believe it and knew that if she just got on with her day sheâd soon forget that sheâd been feeling unwell to begin with.
drjohnsvnâ:
âdonât take this in the wrong wayâŠâ jill started, putting her hands up in surrender. âbut you really donât look like you should be here.â doctors were the worst when it came to being ill but the other wasnât going to do anyone any good by being here.
âAll due respect, but I know my limits and I know that I am fine to be here.â Nancy shrugged a little. âThank you for your concern though.â It was a little sarcastic but she really was okay. She just needed a strong coffee in her system.
drtrixiecuddlerâ:
âyou should try a banana bag. itâs not immediate relief, but it makes you feel better throughout the day,â trixie said. âliterally â save teeny tiny little lives every day,â she said with a small smile.Â
âI think I might actually have to do that, it sounds like I need some more fluids in my system.â She laughed a little and let the smile stay on her face. âIâm Nancy, Nancy Shepherd.â She held out a hand for the younger girl but retracted it as she thought about how people didnât really appreciate touching sick people.
plasticsmdâ:
As he gets glimpse of her ID, he nods. Of course, they all moved into Seattle. The reason? Still unknown. âWow, youâre all staying!â He wishes he sounded more excited as he truly was but after meeting a particular middle child, he wasnât so sure it was a good idea. Nevertheless, he gives out a smile. âWe sure need you if weâre having to deal with hurricane Amelia and Regina George sharing the same practice.â He gets closer to her, throws a arm around her shoulders and squeezes a little. âIâm really glad youâre here, Nance.â
âIt would certainly look that way, even mom has turned up...â Nancy grinned and tilted her head slightly, she certainly seemed to be the most put together of the girls in her family. It would be interesting to see if everyone actually lasted around each other in Seattle. âIâm glad Iâm here too, itâs definitely a big change but itâs growing on me.â
kathleenshepherd-mdâ:
âIâm just saying that phone call would have been nice. Itâs embarrassing that mom has to tell me everything,â Kathleen had told herself she wasnât hurt, sheâd gotten used to being the odd one out years ago - and yet it still had the ability to sting even now. She rolled her eyes, shooting Nancy a look that conveyed all her scepticism, âAm I really supposed to believe this was all one big coincidence? Lizzie already tried that.â She was trying not to act like a petulant child, holding back her foot stomping and frustrated huffs, but her nails were starting to bite into her palms with the will it took to hold back. She took a calming breath through her nose, reminding herself that she was an adult and it didnât matter that her older sister had left her out - again - she would behave like one. âSo if youâre not here to take part in some conspiracy theory, why are you here?â
â it was definitely a coincidence, i havenât even spoken to lizzie in the last few weeks. i wanted a change of scenery and then I was offered a job here â why wouldnât i take it? â nancy tried  to offer a smile but the frustration she was feeling was written all over her face. â I donât need this, this was supposed to be a good day, not a pity Kathleen day. â the harsh words left her mouth before she could even stop them.
mcsisterâ:
Still processing the fact that Nancy was there, Lizzie held the pastry in her mouth as she hugged her sister back, still not sure what to make of the fact that she was in front of her, hugging her. âBreakfast. Kathleenâs here too and our reunion this morning made me crave a truck load of carbsââ she started to explain before she took the pastry out of her mouth and laughed at herself âSorry, duh. You mean Seattle? Iâm working here. I took the head of fetal surgery job. Hey, better question! What are you doing here?âÂ
â thatâs amazing liz, youâre amazing! â nancy paused to cough  for a moment before continuing. â the chief mustâve known how great us shepherd ladies are and i was offered a job,  so i thought why not go for it. â she leant up against wall,  she couldnât help but smile as she looked at her sister, she had always been her favourite.
